I need a new main fandom. I feel like doing some fan stuff. Right now I like a bunch of fandoms but I'm not obsessed with one enough to do stuff for it. Hm...yeah... I can't think of anything. xD If you know anything awesome feel free to share. Unless it's Invader Zim or Hetalia Axis Powers. I've had enough IZ for a lifetime and I hate Hetalia.

I got 3450 out of 4000 on the practice test. The minimum requirement for the scholarship is 2900. I missed 7 questions- 1 in Social Studies, 1 in Science, and 5 in Math. Stupid math brought my score down. And despite BS'ing my way through the essay (the topic was writing about someone you considered successful and why; I made someone up) I got a 3.5 out of 5.

I just have to get the same or better score on the real test and I am good to go! Unfortunately my test date has been moved to January. >_< Must...retain...information!

By ... I usually don't do this one but she's my friend and I think Chaos tagged me to do this too xD

I wanna stop going to my classes now. Dx I started my practice tests Tuesday. And finished the math sections. The rest will be a cake walk! The real thing is twice as long but the difficulty will be the same. So I think the GED will be a breeze. I've never felt more confident!

Halloween is my favourite holiday ever. Better than Thanksgiving. Which if you know my love for food, that's a lot of love for Halloween.

I'm a Ghostbuster yeah.

Chaos and I had to inflate our Ghostbusting backpack by mouth. It was a big bag, too. I get easily light headed so when she said, "I think my brains are oozing." halfway into blowing them up, I was all, "HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! ....... HAHAHAHAHAHA! ...... HAHAHA- Yeah, I think mine are too."

I changed my mind; Orrec cannot pull off spandex at all. Even Superman spandex. And he has nonexistent SuperPectorals; Chaos tells me they were added into the costume with foam. Not styrofoam though. That's krypto- I'm getting off topic. xD Maybe he should have been Batman.

We're too poor to pay the bills! Starting this past Monday I've had no internet or phone service at home... I'm typing this from my dad's work. It's tight around this time, what with my brother's birthday being today and my birthday in 19 days, then Thanksgiving and Yom Kippur and blahblahblah JEWISH CRAP.

The Karakal

From the planet Felis. The Karakal are a kind, peace bringing species. Felis is located in a distant, yet not too distant, solar system from Earth.




The Planet Felis

Welcome to the Mainland
On Felis, there is only one major land mass. It is a giant continent stretching from near the north pole of the planet to the south pole of the planet. There are a few islands at a decent distance from the main land but all are near the equator. The continent itself is covered with all forms of ecosystems and the Karakal of each certain area evolved sightly differently depending on which one their ancestors originated from.

Like in America and other places, there's two types of Karakals- 'city' Karakals, and 'redneck' Karakals. Of course, since Karakals have fur, the term 'redneck' is replaced with 'flatfoot(s)'. Why? Because those who live in the 'country', that is, the more mountainous areas of Felis, have a flatter area of the foot to walk on to support their more 'buff' bodies.


Once in a Rainbow Moon
Once every 100 years (about once in every Karakal's lifetime) the two moons of Felis (red and blue) line up with their yellow-white sun, creating a rainbow light show. This eclipse has a violent effect on Karakals; it is said that their blood cries to dance under the rainbow moon. It is the greatest joy in a Karakal's life. However; all Karakals must be on Felis when this happens! Why is unknown (little is known about the eclipse), but one fact remains true.

Any kits born on the night or day of the eclipse are considered blessed and usually grow up into a leadership position.


Planet Climate
The Climate on Felis is as varied as it is on Earth, the only difference is that there is only one continent and a few smaller islands as land masses on the planet.




A Karakal's Appearance

Hair and Skin
The average Karakals are covered with a soft, light blue peach fuzz all over their bodies. Quite often though they will have slightly longer fluffy fur on the top of their heads. Here is an example of a male Karakal kit which has the mentioned trait. This trait is more common in males of this species but not unheard of in females as well.

A Karakal's skin is also a light blue color. Like humans they can come in a variety of colors. But, also like a human, they can only be a shade or color of their natural skin pigment(blue).

In some tropical locations -such as the few tropical islands located off the main land- the Karakal's fur color has been known to range from a light pink to a light purple color. As expected this was a very rare recessive trait, and was soon almost completely bred out when these island native Karakals began to merge with he main land Karakals.


Eyes
There is not much known about the eyess of a Karakal. One thing that is obvious however, is that their eyes are a single solid color. They have no pupils or other colors to speak of. Their eye colors can range from the rare blue, an almost common green, or a very common yellow/gold. The traits that make up their eye colors make incomplete dominance.

Yeah, I was browsing through dA looking for some Mork and Mindy fanart. First off, I found these AWESOME Mork gloves someone made, which I totally want a pair of, but I digress. xD I came across this:



It really surprised me that I liked these doodles instead of fearing them. For those of you who don't know (which I am going to guess is all but two of you) I have a very bad phobia of these types of aliens. But I found this alien...absolutely adorable!
