Wow, I posted alot of journals over the past two years since I joined dA. I made it to little over 10,000 pageviews; not like it's the most important thing, but still. Anyhow, I want to highlight a few important people who helped get me to where I am now.

The one who convinced me to join dA. We knew each other from a now defunct RollerCoaster Tycoon forum. I would likely be a very lonely and miserable noob, had I not listened to him.

My frist friend on dA. This was back when I was part of the "Over the Hedge" fandom, when I was young and dumb. My main characters, Pocky and Nugget, came about around the time I met her.

The person who most influenced my current style. I admired his past "Legend of Dragus" story that sadly never got far (unless I'm mistaken and am just not looking for it).

I'd also like to thank my father, whose computer I used when I created my dA account.

Furthermore, I'll be moving accounts to within a few weeks.

But srsly, this card game has got me obsessed. I'm so glad I made the switch over from YGO. This game has SO many more options, instead of everyone running the same old decks. That got dry REAL fast. With Magic, everyone's deck is different, and there's only a few top-tier decks. But they're all restricted, so it's harder to enact their combos. Thus making way for more originality, and people who like to show off their skill on the duelfield. Some combos are just insane, and it's alot of fun if you aren't on the losing end. But hey, it happens to everyone. Even me, and I've gotten kinda good at it already!

So to sum it all up, MTG > YGO.

Yes, it was long and unstructured. I didn't do much, only because my parents were away doing other things for the first three weeks. That gave me the perfect opportunity to do what I do best - Sit on my ass, guzzle soda, and stare at the fucking computer monitor until my eyes hemmorhage. What an awful summer this turned out to be.... I was hoping for alot better, considering last summer was, by far, the best I ever had.

To be perfectly honest with you, I'm looking forward to the day after tomorrow, when school starts back up for me. And as for ~bumblebee022 and ~yadaman, I'll see you two on Tuesday. I'm becoming obsessed in Magic the Gathering. It's an awesome CCG and pwns the shit out of YGO.

I wonder if anyone remembers that one show based off MTG. It involved people who played the card game in the Realworld, and they learn that they are directly linked to the Planeswalkers. Which means that their Planeswalker counterparts are screwing with the Multiverse by casting spells and displacing creatures. So they eventually get sucked into the MTG Multiverse as those Planeswalkers, but without their spark. Along their journey to find the AEther portal and get back to Earth, they discover hordes of creatures and legions of spells, and they gain experience in the process. Ivevitably, they decide to stay, considering it their own duty to maintain order amongst the planes.

If not, good. That means anyone with a simular idea hasn't gone thru with it yet. I made that all up, or so I think. If there was in fact an MTG series, and I got that all wrong, then smite me.

Yay finally, a chance to get off my dead ass and actually do something other than stare at the computer monitor until my eyes hemmorhage. And i don't mean just getting up to get a snack of go to the bathroom; that'd be cheating.

Every other day, for the past 5 or 6 days, I've been doing something else aside from wasting my life on the internet. I went to a small punk-rock concert with my step-brother. I took the bus to the card shop. I even went driving around town, to visit my dad and other stuff.

Life is good after all. Of course, I already regret wasting about a year and a half online. And I have even less time than that to make it all up. Some goals I have in mind are:-

* Evolve my style from silly doodles on paper to digitally inked and coloured images.
* Write a 7+ chapter story using my OC's.
* Complete at least 3 themed coasters in RCT.

It's important that I challenge myself. Otherwise, I could be a PC addict for the rest of my life!

My dad's in the hospital right now. A few days ago he had a heart attack. He survived it thankfully, cos' it happened at work. We've been trying to track down his RV, and my mom's been making frequent phone calls to the hospital.

So basicly, things have been going pretty rough for us all since. Also, I got the chance to visit him last night. Oooh, it was terrifying to see my father all hooked up to machines and tubes like that....

And to make matters worse, he's sceduled to undergo bypass surgery this afternoon.

Please pray for him. Even if it's just a little thought while reading this.

Some of you may already know this, but for those who don't, read on. It's about Yugimanz, so some of you may not care.


Anyhow, I went to Target yesterday to stock up on junk food. However, I only had $5, so I couldn't get much. I decided to look over in the CCG section to see if they had anything decent. What I found exceeded my expectations - A Japanese TDGS pack!! It also came with a FOTB and a DP05 pack each, but those didn't concern me. There were 3 of them left, so I couldn't just let this one go by. I had to, tho' - like I said, $5 doesn't go very far anymore.


When I received my allowance later on, I returned to find that they were still there. I purchased all 3, and returned home to open them. I prayed for either Stardust Dragon OR Red Daemon's Dragon - the two main highlights of the set. First pack I opened; Bolt Hedgehog and Domino - 2 rares in a pack, not bad. Second pack; some sort of Psychic-type support, okay.... I was beginning to become disappointed. Third pack; BAM!! There it was, the embodiment of hope for everyone in Satellite. Take a guess?


I'll leave you at that.

In other news, I'm attempting yet another futile writing project. I did well in school today, even after arriving late. I have a new playlist on iTunes that I'm obsessed with. It's a bunch of converted preset tracks from FL8. None of which are my own, so I can't redistribute them; even if it isn't for cash, or if I don't claim them as my own.

I reduced the Spirits down to 1 of each other than Asura, since they bounce back at end of turn. Apparenly splashing everything limits your options of adding other cards, so I reduced quantities of certain cards. It's still a 43-card deck, what should I reduce/remove?

I entered the hall without paying for wither the flight of the open, so I never got my packs. Which I was alright with, since I wanted to save my money - Even though I went broke within a couple hours ><;;;

I traded around for a bunch of Destruction Jammers, and now I have like 10 of them. I also got a few Vanity Rulers (not Fiend, IMO Ruler is better for one more sacrifice) and more cards for my Plant-OTK deck. I bought a Gold pack hoping to get Crush Card, but all I got was janky reprinted RotA and Brain, and a Prometheus. UDE fails at life for not giving us Solemn <<;;;

I ran Hino-Mausoleum and went 2/2 out of 4 total. First opponent used Gem Beasts, and I had a bad starting hand but ended up winning thanks to 2 Solemn Wishes and Ultimate Offering ^_^ Next I beat this noob who claimed his girlfriend helped build his ~80+ card deck o.o

But all in all, I had a good time.

What do you think about it? To me, it's okay; the gfx are great, the plot hasn't developed yet so I can't say much else. All I know is that Ushio the hall monitor is back, and old Domino city is abandoned.
