Ok.. u probably wonder where i have been.. hi hi hi
I have been on vecation for 14 days, home visiting my parents *smile* It was so good to be home and meet my family and friends..
No moose in the road this time *rofl*
Well.. I am back now.. and my inspiration is back too.. Guess i needed a little breake from my poser..

Hi all

CS design would like to have a contest, and since its almost springtime we would love to see your most beautiful spring time portrait.

Requirements:

-Use ure imagination, with colors and composition.. How do you see a springtime portrait..
-Every 3d software is allowed (Poser, Cinema etc.)
-Postwork is allowed
-Image size 800 x 800 and a little description.
-Every user can send 1 image up to the 03/20/2008

HI all

As some of you know i have had arthritis sinze i was a lil girl, actually 6 years old. I have Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis: [link]
Here in Norway i feel like this is the forgotten illness.. The hospitals must go to other countries to get surgeons and specialist in arthritis.
It seems like this disease is not "interesting" enough. All the focus is in cancer and heartsickness.. Not that i don't think these are bad and serous enough, in fact i have had cancer my self , but i think we got to put some focus on one of the most common diseases in the world. It`s not only affect old people, but lot of children get arthritis.

Living each day with pain, stiffness in your body.. as a child missing out on sports and games.. A reality that infects a lot of people in the world.. A sickness that slowly eats up parts of your skeleton, and weekending your muscles.. In my case all the joints in my body is infected.. Some days i hardly can walk, and it feels like knives is stabbed into my body.. I have friends that is put in wheelchairs for the rest of their life's, every day is filled with pain, operations and hospitals.. What really impresses me is the humor of people with arthritis. I have never in my life meet so positive people.. Always smiling and never complaining.. I am like that my self, i don't know why.. but it seems like we have a optimistic look at the world, and believe that despair our illness, there is always somebody who suffers more then we do.

My heart bleeds for these people.. I know the struggles and the pain they must go true every day..
My wish is that ONE day they will find a cure for this illness.
No body knows what causes this disease, just how it developes..

I hope where ever in the world you are you will support research for arthritis.
I know you don't die from it, but think of this.. You die WITH it!

Hi all!
I`m back, and i`m in one piece..
I have sooo missed my poser, and you can probably guess the first thing i did after i unpacked the car...
It was really good to be home with my family and friends, but i have missed my lil kitty and all of you guys..
Thank you for all the comments on my lil story about our lil crash with a moose
I forgot to say that the moose was put down, he was very badly hurt
I am really fine, and have not taken any damage from this.. Its like a dream really.. Like its never happend..

[link] Weekend to End Breast Cancer Challenge [link]

For the past 5 years our very own $Moonbeam13 has been involved in supporting and raising money for The Weekend To End Breast Cancer event in Toronto.

She has done this in a fairly quiet and discreet way so we felt it was time to shed a bit more light on what exactly she does for this great cause.

To give a bit of background, in the past 4 years this organization has raised over 60 million dollars in donations and through this has made some landmark strides in advancing the research on breast cancer, which claims the lives of close to 50,000 women a year and about a quarter million women diagnosed per year.
This money does make a big difference in helping with in depth gene studies and creating specialized programs for people diagnosed with the disease.

The Weekend To End Breast Cancer takes place all across Canada. In Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Winnipeg, Ottawa, Montreal, and $Moonbeam13 's hometown of Toronto, where for the last 4 years and soon to be 5, she has participated in the 60k walk. ThatÂs 37.28 miles to you Americans.
To participate in the walk, each person must raise $2000 to qualify and that is no easy task in and of itself. As of right now she has raised about 2600 dollars but we think she can do much better than that with the help of a community of 5 million strong!

This year the event takes place September 8th and 9th, so time to help is limited.

All of the dA staff and gallery directors and other deviants are hoping to blow Danie away by massively increasing the amount of sponsorship she has received so far.

Hi al..

Finally home in my hometown..

I have a little story to tell my friends.. I went tru the most scary thing ever in my life yesterday..
I was after 25 ours driving, almost home.. Just a 5 our drive was left..
This was early sunday morning and the sun was just coming up in the horrisont.. I was driving in my own toughts.. my boyfriend Sven was sleeping next to me.. I drowe wery carefully cuz the road went tru a forrest, and the road was so small with lots of sharp turns.
Out of nowhere from my left a BIG moose came running in front of the car.. I hit it HARD the animal on ca 300 KG went up in the air and hit the top of the frontwindow and roof and smashed the window into the car. The roof of the car was smashed down only 2 cm from my head.. The frontwindow was 5 cm from my face... I hit the brakes so hard.. i almost dont remember a thing.. it all went so incredible fast.. All i remember thinking was.. Now i`m going to die!!
Then i remember a BIG BANG and a shower of glass hitting my face and arms..
THe car stopped.. The poor Moose tumbeled down in a cleft beside the road.. Sven was awake.. and not hurt... I was fine too.. thank god.. We called the polise and the wildlife people to take care of the poor moose lying suffering..

I was shaking and crying.. And i asked Sven over and over: Are you hurt! I was so afraid, and so incredible sad for putting a person i love so much in so big danger..

I am so so happy to be alive. and i am so grateful that my love and boyfriend is alive and not hurt... I am so sorry for causing pain to that incredible beautiful animal It was so painful to see it suffer so bad... But i had no chance stopping.. He came out of nowhere...

I will post images of our car when i get home.. It is really a miracle.. all i have is small cuts on my arms.. and Sven hurt hi`s leg a little.. Besides that.. We are fine..
But.. Now we need a new car!!! he he he

Well.. i had the feeling this would happen.. Yes.. and some of the joy of the contest for me is over..
I don`t think I will never have another contest again..
I can`t believe how some people think so high of them self.. That they are so much better then others?
I really felt that the Deep Fantasy contest was a exiting contest, to see the inner fantasies that lives in people..
This contest was held for fun and to see what artists with different artforms could create from our stocks..
Many amazing entries came in.. But as in all contests there can only be one winner.. a 2 place and a 3 place..
All the entries was given points from 1 - 10 individualy by the judges, then calculated..It was soo close!
The judges was asked to look at the creativity, composition, and if the team and rules was followed.
I am truly sorry that some don`t agree with the judges desition, and feel like loosers..
But I have competed in LOTS of contests, and ONCE I have got among top 20. That never bothered me at all..
You can`t compete in a contest if you cant handle the game.

Sorry for this but i just had to get it out of my chest..

The tiger is one of the most revered, feared and popular species on Earth. It is perhaps the most powerful symbol of our planetÂs endangered wildlife.
Once widespread across Asia, fewer than 5,000 wild tigers are now found in just 7% of their historic range.

This is a time of great importance for Tiger conservation - despite the success of a 1993 domestic trade ban in tiger parts and international calls to maintain it, China is considering reopening the trade! This one decision would undoubtably cause the extinction of the tiger as we know it! Please, take a stand for this amazing species and tell China to keep the ban permanent!

Hi all..

I had so many thoughts in my head when i got to bed tonight, about my life. And i was thinking ..
Do i want to write this in my journal, do i want to share my inner thoughts? I feel that i have found my place, and i have so many friends here, so yes.. i think i want to share my thoughts with you..

When i was 5 years old i got arthritis. all of my body is infected and i have lived with this disease almost all my life.. When i was a little girl, people asked me.. Christel how do you feel? I always answered.. "Oh.. I feel fine" .. and I gave them a BIG smile, while i was limping around with my pink umbrella as support for my bad hips.. Not show the ones i loved how i felt.. Not make them sad.. Not make them upset.. Keep on smiling..

I had to give up dreams.. standing on the sideline.. Looking.. Wanting to join the play and the games.. Trying.. Not able too.. Growing.. getting stronger..
From the age of 6 i was in and out of hospital.. operations.. medicine..consulting..
I have NO bad memories of this time of my childhood.. It helped me grow as a person. I have so many fantastic memories from my time at the hospital when i was a kid.. In play with others in the same situation as me, with the same illness and the same limitations as me..

When i was 32 i got cancer.. I had a tumor in my abdomen, and the doctor said there is no way we can operate this tumor.. You have to radiate and hope the tumor goes away he said..
I had 44 radiations in a period of 3 months.. and my womb and ovary's is destroyed forever. I was on morfin on 2 moths and lost 20 kilos. The result was that lost my menstruation in an age of 32, and i was told that could not ever have children. I was devastated, but i did not cry.. It would not do any good, just upset my self more and the people i loved. The time in the hospital i got to know so many amazing people. With NO hope left in life, but still so strong ,so happy and grateful.. Always smiling, and never complaining. I was in awe.. Filled with respect.. They made me strong..
With the help of my beautiful boyfriend and family, I survived and im very happy to be alive..

The reason i write this is that i want so say.. that all of this has made me to a better and stronger person..
I love life.. I am always happy. and most important thing of all.. I ALWAYS turn a "BAD" thing in to a "POSITIVE" thing..
I know there is ALWAYS somebody that suffers more then me! And i always think about that before i complain..
I hope people can appreciate the gifts they have in life.. And really look at what they got.. what you have achieved...

It don't have to be BIG..
For me.. its the little beautiful things in life that counts..
