'02.- Een Dag Met..

I've started my new project called Een Dag Met... (English: A Day With...). Making a photo reportage following a whole day a musician, band or artist when they are going to perform of having a special thing to do.

On august 6th i followed Alwin Ritstier during the filming of a video clip. Take a look at the first try out of "Een dag met..." I'm really happy with the result.

I'm asked by my favorite band to do online promotion.

So if you live in The Netherlands you really need to check them out if they play in the neighborhood. Trust me it's worth it. You will never forget it.

'01.- Busy busy and stil busy

I was so busy last time and still I am.

What i've Done:
Â IÂve started a new project called Âfemale voicesÂ a music magazine of full female and female fronted bands.
Â IÂve made a shirt design, and printed on a shirt.
Â My dad went to the hospital for his heart. And he got an operation for it. He stayed in 3 different hospitals for almost 3 weeks. I went every day to him, allot of traveling. He's back home and still recovering.
Â I Went to Berlin from 23 t/m 26 march. Had a great time with the Berliners. Took some nice photo's which i will upload more later.
Â IÂve had an interview with Elle Bandita. ^{it's coming in the magazine "Female Voices".}

What i need to do:
Â I have to finish my Boardgame (school project) including instructions, box, card and promotional material like a flyer and a sticker.
Â I need to find some female bands for my mag
Â I need to make a portfolio to get to the master class
Â Make my own site, i want my own site for more than a year now.
Â And so much more...

'01.- School Assignment Finished

In the past weeks i was VERY busy with school. We had to customize some products and make it real (if it's useful for stores).

So i had to design a new package for the designer toy and customize the toy, also i've made the labels, the advertising and poster.

School presentation of the customized products. Also Kaar and S-vdelft were in the group, she made the shoe box and shoes and the canvas thing with the lace on it.

'09.- Happy New Year

Thanks to everyone who has watched, favorited and commented me and my work.
2008 has been a good year. I graduated for Desktop publisher all round, and started a new aducation "Graphic Design".
I started 2008 with 1,970 views and now i have 6,559 views ^^. 2008 was a good year but 2009 would be better.

Redefining the art of photography

What has happened to photography. Its become more technical than artistic. People have taken every bit of emotion, every bit of beauty, of fun, of everything that makes photography an art and replaced it with rules, headache, stress and an utter lack of what I thought the whole purpose of it really was. What happened to people liking art simply because its beautiful, because its relatable, because it can make you laugh, because it can make you cry, because you just like looking at it?? I donÂt know. I really just donÂt know. I have searched deviant art for artists who are sick of boring, emotionless portraits and clichÃ© run of the mill, unimaginative landscapes and still lives. Who ever said that holgas and polariods arent legitimate photographic mediums? I refuse to believe that and so do these artists. They see photography as a way to express themselves. A way to show the beauty, the pain and the happiness of their lives.

Het eerste consumentenevenement voor digitale fotografie en video!

Noteer het alvast in je agenda: zaterdag 9 en zondag 10 juni 2007, ZOOM.experience, Jaarbeurs Utrecht. Vergeet er niet bij te zetten je digitale camera mee te nemen. Deze zal je zeker nodig hebben!

ZOOM.experience is het eerste interactieve evenement op het gebied van digitale fotografie en video. Dit komt tot uiting in de vele actviteiten die worden georganiseerd op de beursvloer en daarbuiten. De producten van verschillende aanbieders worden op originele wijze gepresenteerd waarbij je als bezoeker niet alleen kan kijken, maar ook zelf kan proberen. Zo kun je bijvoorbeeld zelf oefenen met fotograferen van bewegend beeld bij de skatebaan waar wereldkampioen Sven Boekhorst en zijn team acte de présence geven, tips en trucs ontvangen over glamourfotografie bij de catwalk, de mogelijkheden ontdekken van onderwaterfotografie bij de duiktank en je foto's op het evenement laten printen. Er wordt ook een fotowedstrijd georganiseerd waar je fantastische prijzen kunt winnen.

Activiteiten

Verspreid over de beursvloer vind je diverse activiteiten. Neem een kijkje bij de skatebaan waar wereldkampioen inline skaten Sven Broekhorst met zijn team diverse demonstraties geeft en leg ze vast met je camera terwijl ze springen. Bezoek de onderwatertank en ontdek de mogelijkheden van onderwaterfotografie. Sta even stil bij de catwalk waar diverse modeshows en optredens zullen plaatsvinden of bezoek het fotopaviljoen waar je de mogelijkheid krijgt om aan de hand van diverse tips en trucs objecten te fotograferen. Je kunt ook een bezoek brengen aan het ZOOM theater waar je kunt deelnemen aan diverse workshops en lezingen. Maar niet alleen binnen is er van alles te beleven. Buiten de beursvloer kun je bijvoorbeeld mee met de Bustour die je naar de mooiste plekjes van Utrecht rijdt.

De fotowedstrijd maakt deel uit van alle activiteiten op het evenement. Hierbij kun je foto's die je maakt op het evenement, binnen bepaalde thema's, inleveren om kans te maken op de meest fantastische prijzen.

Er is voor ieder wat wils en je beleeft digitale fotografie zoals je dit nog nooit hebt gedaan!

Je kent ze vast wel, de Boomerang cards die je gratis kunt krijgen in café's, op scholen en andere openbare gelegenheden. Het werk van het creatieve team van Boomerang, "Boomerang Creative", is nu ook op Fatboy zitzakken te vinden.

Boomerang Creative werkt hiervoor samen met Matt Holland, een nieuw merk in de wereld van designartikelen.
Creatieven kunnen via Matt Holland hun werk op beanbags realiseren. Later volgen ook andere artikelen. Jaarlijks doneert het bedrijf een percentage van de opbrengst aan de Matt Holland Foundation, waarmee ze voor jonge creatieven wil steunen bij exposities, promoties en events.

Een van de eerste ontwerpen die te zien zijn op de Fatboys is de creatie 'Holland's Glorie' van Rob Schaaphok. Hij won een pitch die door Matt Holland was uitgeschreven.
