im really liking CS4. CS3 was just far too clunky to run smoothly on windows xp. it seems that cs4 is smoother, and i like the updated interface as well. im also having loads of fun with the pixel bender toolkit, especially the droste effect plugin. very trippy effects from this 3rd party plugin. much love for the new photoshop.

also, i am in the middle of a book called The Botany of Desire, by Michael Pollan. the book explains the relationship between humankind and 4 different plants that humans have cultivated through history. exiting read for plant nerds like me .This book is damn interesting, as well as easy to follow, as it is written for the layman.

droste effect plugin ----> [link]

What do you say, for instance, about a generation that has been taught that rain is poison and sex is death? If making love might be fatal and if a cool spring breeze on any summer afternoon can turn a crystal blue lake into a puddle of black poison right in front of your eyes, there is not much left except TV and relentless masturbation.
After using Vista for quite some time, i finally got a working copy of XP, that im back to. One thing i DID like about vista, was that i could share entire folders automatically, so other network members could access my music collection. I know this can be done in XP, but i believe it requires the target folder being moved to the primary drive, which is not an option for me. I keep my music on my secondary drive, so that if i decide to reformat, i dont need to move it. Duplicating the folder is also not an option, as that would eat up too much space (i have a HUGE collection). Back to the point though, anyone know how to add a target folder to the shared network, without moving the folder? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

I'm having doubts lately about my colorful pictures, especially those done with sharpies and are purely psychedelic. Not as in my usual self criticism and doubt, but in the fact that there really is no point to them. They have no purpose behind them, and are basically as meaningful as wallpaper.I have kind of realized they are nothing more than eye candy and decoration. Thats why Photoshop and digital art has taken my interest lately, because I'm able to create pieces that actually have a thought behind them, or something expressive. That being said I'll definitely not destroy anything, and will also continue making pictures, except with psychedelic flavors or hints, instead of the entire subject based on color.

My friend Jesus taught me this in math today

Stand with legs a moderate distance apart
Stretch out arms parallel to the floor
Lift palms to parallel the wall, you should feel a slight tenseness in your wrists, but not a pain
Going one arm at a time, roll your arm (palm still stretched) behind your back, completing a full circle motion.
You know you did it right if you feel an interesting tingle or pulsation in your shoulder, you'll know when you get it.

Just thought i would share, I found it interesting, whether you believe in chakras, or anything for that matter
