I don't really have a lot of excuses for why I haven't posted in almost a year. I have been dealing with a lot of problems at home as of late which are not really worth getting into here... but long story short, I've been combating a bit of depression/an art existential crisis as well as moving three times within the past year due to personal issues. I will admit that art has been rather slow for me lately. I graduated from college in May, had a death in the family and have been going through a rather pathetic existential crisis of sorts. It's all bullshit excuses I know, but it's taking me a bit longer than I would like to get stuff done.

It's not that I don't want to be, I'm just shy and awkward!

Anyway, when I do a picture it first starts out with thumbnails. I usually do about three or four of these that I show to my instructor for critique and approval.

On the final product I first measure the paper, cut it, then tape off the edges.

But soon enough I should have about two new pieces up. Both are almost finished being colored, and in my personal opinion show a rather large change in the way that I usually approach my style. I also have begun a long term project, which is a large picture about 7 feet long. (haha with how long it takes me to pull out a regular piece, I imagine that this is going to take quite some time)

Things are going rather good so far...things are cool. Nothing much has really happened since it is only much moving-in day (met room mate, arranged beds, ect. ect)-- but school is starting in nine days, and there are a lot of things to do in between.
