Sorry, the title is a running joke between two of my friends on having energy. Heck, I'm not even involved in said running joke!! And now you all know what a sad little life I lead...

But my god, I actually have ENERGY!! I thought this was something that got buried along with my exams! I've been posting some old stuff which I had been planning to put up for the past half year or so, though obviously 2 year old stuff aren't very satisfying, so I also need to hurry up and complete or at least tidy up my recent drawings and kick myself to post them. It's not as if posting them will change my life, but - well, I dunno - the act of doing so is sort of... satisfying. I'm the kind of person to whom nothing is EVER finished. I can't just say "ok that's done and dusted". It's always "hmmm I'll improve it later". And sometimes, 'later' just never comes.

I do love this emoticon: It makes me laugh! I don't think it was there until recently.

I have been 18 for a week. I've been an adult for a week. O! Never more will I step into the gardens of childhood, where my most precious memories are left behind! Ooh! It brings tears to my eyes!

Sorry, melodrama finished. In fact, I was about as indifferent as a person could be on their 18th birthday, and still am now, although I still need to get used to the fact that I can, oh, er, buy alcohol, fireworks, cigarettes, houses, watch 18 films, run off and get married without my parents' permission, vote, gamble, change my name.......and browse the internet without restriction. The last one is possibly the most dangerous of the lot. I am beginning to feel that too much freedom could do more harm than good, so I need to be careful.

Although... I didn't know that I could have bought an air rifle last year on my 17th birthday. Goddamn it!! I'm like, totally gutted, you know? I've waited my entire life to buy one of these and I could have got it one year ago!!! I feel cheated, man!!!!!!

Seriously though. How random is that?

Ok, I really need to quit wasting my time and actually get some SLEEP before I get even higher from the lack of it...

My very last term of school ever is about to commence... I can't wait to get out, but there's a huge hurdle still left to jump - exams. Starting in May. These are the most important exams I will ever have taken to date and the pressure is on at FULL POWER to get those As (I'm so glad I don't have to deal with A*s that they're introducing next year). I have a mountain of revision and past papers to do, and even as a procrastinator I have left them for long enough. To top it off I have the symphonie espagnole to practice like mad for next month as well, and I'm no music genius so I have to keep at it. So, music and revision it is for the rest of April, and then just revision and exams in May and June. Art, since it's not in my run-up of exams, is going to take a back seat... Even uploading stuff the I've already got. Ooooooh boy. I'm in for a *fun* ride...

I've been more than a lurker on devART than ever in the past several months. I blame school, and maybe my laziness. Lots of work, lots of brownie points to earn at school (or I get seeeriously left behind in more ways than one. Not literally of course). I really should be worrying about my A-levels now that it's the Easter holidays, which are going far too quickly! But I have to come back to art sooner or later, and this time I've kicked myself into action and posted a comic strip that was LONG in the making. Hurray! My gallery has expanded for the first time in ages. I have many other plans, but... revision will come flooding in faster than I can say "pencil". So I might just scan in some more sketches I've done in my lurking.

Come, summer holidays, come!

Cloverlime

I feel like I haven't been on deviantART for a year...

I ceased coming on this website, and then stopped drawing... I got too caught up in mock interviews for Uni - which went really crap. I found that burying my head in art was the worst thing to do when trying to concentrate on uni stuff. I guess I can't do art too well unless I feel 'safe', and the threat of not being able to get into the uni I want is not 'safety'... But my exams are over and I now await results which are less than a week away....

Hurray, my exams are now over... what a relief! Well, they were over a week ago. But school isn't until mid-July... I've been almost completely demotivated by the current goings-on, including career plans and other stupendously important decisions, though they may not seem so in 10 years time. I've realised that I'm a bad artist!! As in, I don't finish what I start so I have loads of started pieces but hardly anything finished. So that's what I'll be working on, and then production will hopefully be on the increase...

The title says it all! I've finally joined DA after lurking for... god knows how long... and I am very favourite-happy and less keen to put up my own scribbles. They'll come soon, I hope... though for now, my AS art exam is coming up, 5 hours of pure hell! Well, I exaggerate, last year was worse (dun wanna think about next year, a whopping 15 hours!).

So, hellooooo everyone, and I hope you enjoy your visit to my little page, and the eye candy attempts here. Uh... that is, when they come...
