Well, the main reason I have come here is to announce that the final chapters of The Glass Sonata have been uploaded to *mree's site! The wonderful story that the amazing author let us read has now come to an end. But wait, we must remember something. This is a trilogy, which means two more books to read in the future! And let us not forget, *mree has also recently finished Storms in Utopia. The prequel to the Phantom of Kenedra trilogy. She's revising it right now and then she will hand it over to her literary agent. Let us cross our fingers and hope that it gets published soon!

And now and note, mostly to *YuliHimura who won the previous contest that was held way back. I have now forgotten about the prize that you will receive for winning the contest. I have just been practicing and trying to improve in drawing so that I may present a prize that is decent. I am still practicing, trying to get better in anatomy and such. I will finish your drawing as soon as possible. I promise.

And then after the prize has been finished and given to *YuliHimura, I will open a new contest!

Sorry that there has been no activity for the past few months. I hope everyone had good holidays and that everyone is quite happy-happy joy-joy.

I have an idea for a new contest, but before I announce it, I want to try and finish ~YuliHimura's prize for winning the last contest.

I am sorry to those who thought I was going to update the contest page informing you that the deadline was up a coupe days ago, but my internet was down most of that day and I got distracted with other things, but today is the day that I announce the winner of the contest. It wasn't that big, but of course this was only the first contest held here, and I am glad to know that I was able to receive three wonderful submissions. I thought about it for awhile, and I decided that the winner will be....

The Best of Friends by ~YuliHimura! Congratulations, you won the POKE clubs' first contest ever! You're going in the POKE history books, now!

As your prize you will get a picture of your favorite TGS character drawn by me, ~Dragonologist. I know it's not much, but I can only give so much. The picture will be drawn in one of three styles of your choice (the pictures have obviously been changed since last time).

Q. What are the rules of the club?

A. The rules are as follows:

1. Please respect all members of the POKE club. Do not harass, flame, or insult any of the members in any way. Doing so will have you reported to the dA staff and you will most likely be banned from the site.

A. The Phantom of Kenedra is a fantasy trilogy written by Marie Lu, or Mree, as most people call her. She finished the first book, titled The Glass Sonata, and you can read it on her website [link] but you can only read some of it so far because her agent will only let her post a couple chapters every month or so (I'm pretty sure I got that right).

Q. Hey! Why can't I find it in (enter bookstore name here)?

A. Because it hasn't been published yet. But don't worry, Mree is working on getting published at the moment, and I'm sure someone will want to publish it someday soon.

Q. What does "poke" stand for, exactly?

A. POKE stands for Phantom of Kenedra Enthusiasts.

Q. How did you come up with the name POKE?

A. The name came up when I was discussing the idea of a PoK club with a few other members on the PoK forums. ~emm2341 came up with the idea of calling the club POKE. So I went to create an account for the club, but the name poke was already taken. But then one known as LazyAeras came up with the idea of the name club-of-poke. And here we are today. Isn't it lovely?

Q. Where did you get the avatar for the club?

A. The avatar is one of =mree's many avatars that she allows people to use for various things. You can view all of her avatars here, but be sure to follow the guidelines on the site before you use any of them.

This club is dedicated to the Phantom of Kenedra, so the fans of the trilogy can join this club and talk about it and submit fanart here.

And now I will tell you the story of how this club got its name. (It's very interesting ... I think....)

One day I thought about making a club for my favortie books, the Phantom of Kenedra trilogy, well, I've only read the first one, The Glass Sonata, because that's all I can read right now, but I'm 100% positive that the others are just as good. Anyhoo, back to the name. I was having trouble thinking of a name, but then came up with the brilliant idea poke, or Phantom of Kenedra Enthusiasts. So, I went to go create it, but the username poke was already taken! We (including Mree, , the creator of the Phantom of Kenedra, bow down to her) tried to think of a new name. And then someone by the name of Aeras came in and thought of -poke! Oh, how brilliant. Sadly you're not allowed to put a - in the front or the back of a username. But then I thought of poke-club! But, that was taken, too. (Pokemon club, obviously) But then Aeras came in with another brilliant idea. What do you think that idea was? ...... You're right! It was club-of-poke! Now everyone, thank Aeras. I did.

Now that we're done with that story (you didn't read it, did you) I'm going to tell you how to join. Simply send a note to the club telling me that you want to join, and I'll add you to the members list. You can watch it too if you like, but it's not necessary. Members shall be known as pokers. If you want to invite someone to the club, you will poke them. Get it?
