So I've been working on my costume for NDK all summer, and things went exactly as planned. I got the shaping of the two versions of the Flare Sword all taken care of before I headed back to school for the year. And then during the first week of classes I got both of them completely painted so I am now completely ready for the Con.

I hope to get the pictures of the swords up within the next hour, and then I'll have to wait till I get back from the Con to put up a picture of the full costume with the swords however, since I accidentally broke my camera and am unable to use it anymore, so I have to use my webcam to take pictures, oh well.

As for the valedictorian speech for Bob I know a couple people have been looking forward to I completely and 100% intend to write it and hope to get some inspiration from my Intro to Creative Writing class this semester.

Well I never thought that I would get fans of my roleplay character, Bob. But apparently I have, which is a great thing for me cause I never thought that I would have anyone become a fan of anything I made. Speaking of which those who have expressed their fan-hood, I appreciate that you like my character so much, and I know that you want me to get his valedictorian speech written, and I just want to let you know that I do intend to write it at some point, however it could be a while since I've never really been good at writing speeches.

In the meantime I may have, at some point, something to tide you fans over, because doodlepad here on DeviantArt has said she will see about drawing four different forms of Bob, since I have adapted him to four different versions for some online roleplays.

The four forms are as follows:

Modern day-the one whose backstory I have already written
Medieval-the only change with this version is that he does not have an army hat boots or pants, he just has regular everyday medieval pants and boots, still doesn't wear shirts, and of course he has no affiliation with GDI since they don't exist in medieval times.
Megaman-Bob basically adapted as a reploid, he's got Flight Armor and the Flare Sword is a broad beam sword instead of a physical sword.
Blood-Trait Digimon-form adapted through the original concept developed by one of my pals, digitLninja. In this form Bob isn't at the top of his game normally, he is still bulky and musclebound, but his true power comes from his Blood-trait Digivolution CimmerAnubismon(Anubismon with midnight black fur). In his human form he does not have access to the Flare Sword, but as CimmerAnubismon he does.

Well, well, well. I haven't done one of these for a while, but I'm currently waiting for my professor to get here so I thought I'd go ahead and do this to kill some time.

So it's getting close to the end of the semester, and looking back I know there have been some rough spots, but overall I'd say that this semester went very well. The semester started off with everything being very easy-going, and luckily enough I was able to maintain that state of being throughout most of the semester, even when I talked with my advisor about my final year of college, where I found out that I was incredibly short on upper division credits. but I found out that I can still graduate on time so long as I get everything besides my intership done by the end of the next school year.

Now throughout this semester I have had one person in particular who I consider a friend constantly get on my nerves, seeming as though he thought the entire world revolves around him and that everything about this world should be based in anime. Well several weeks ago I finally got tired of it and told him what I'd been wanting to say this whole semester, albeit in a very blunt way, but I believe that to be blunt is to be effective. Apparently he chose to continue on as if nothing I had said had gotten through to him, but as if all I had done was attacked everything he stood for. I'm not writing this to say I'm sorry for what I said, because I am not sorry, not in the least. Now I would still very much like to consider him a friend, but again that is up to him at this point and not me.

In other matters for most of this semester I have been working on computer programming assignments that have occupied the majority of the semester. The first one is a project for the High Altitude Performance Lab here at Western which is basically includes a login system and a data submission system. The login part of it took me the first 5 weeks to complete, but since then I have been motoring along on it getting everything done, except for the final stretch, which with any luck will be done today. The other project has been working with a 3D model of Sonic The Hedgehog, where I have been trying to get him to walk across the screen, and to jump up and down. Well finally today I got the first part completely working albeit with a couple of tweaks needed to make it look better, but I am happy with the success nonetheless.

Now last night I talked with my mom to see if her Social Security office might possibly have an internship opportunity for me, since I need one for my major, and I found out that I will be basically the tech person setting up a whole bunch of stuff for the business she is going to start, as well as I will probably be setting up a bunch of technical stuff for my step-dad's small business, along with working at Elitch Gardens at the same time this summer. So my summer just got a lot more chaotic then I thought it was going to be. Anyway I've run out of things to rant about so I'm going to go chill for a while till my prof gets here.

Finally got my idea for the next part. So hear goes:

When Bob arrived at Command he was immediately called into the debriefing room.

"Let's hear your report general."

"Yes, sir."

So Bob gave his report on what had happened over the course of the mission. When he got to the factory, he started getting angry again.

"My engineer patched through a communication from Kane, who proceeded to tell me that he had been expecting us to move in on the base. After hearing that I knew there could be only one reason he would tell me, he had set a trap and we walked into it. So I called for an immediate retreat."

"Well it's too bad you were unable to erase that data. That means we'll definitely be seeing that new weapons system quite often. The important thing is that you didn't lose a single soldier, and you saved a civilian who was under attack."

"Might I respectfully request some time off sir, to calm my nerves and collect myself?"

"Go ahead general you've earned it."

"Oh and one more thing sir."

"Yes?"

"What has become of the girl I rescued from the NOD research center?"

"Ah I thought you might ask about her. Well we took a look at the weapons system that was calibrated for her body. Our engineers were able to analyze it without taking it apart, well we tried to do it by taking it apart but it seems it is too well integrated into her nervous system. Every time we tried to take something off she started crying with pain. Other than that we asked her a few textbook questions to make sure NOD has no influence over her."

"After that we decided to test how well she could work with the machine. She broke every record except yours general. So we asked her if she wouldn't mind helping GDI out in combat. She agreed under two conditions, 1)that she always be stationed with you, I guess you made quite an impression on her, she seems to regard you as her guardian, and 2) that we do what we can to help unlock her memories."

"So she'll be coming with me on any future missions?"

"Yeah we need all the help we can get. Anyway enjoy your time off."

"Thank you again, sir"

Bob saluted the commander, and turned to leave, but the commander grabbed his shoulder.

"Oh I almost forgot, I know you feel that you don't deserve this, but everyone here believes you do."

With that the commander handed Bob another star. He would have been happier but the failure of his mission still weighed heavy on his heart. When he got back to his quarters he laid down a took a quick nap. When he woke up, the next day he was feeling somewhat better, but not by much. He remembered that he had promised the woman he saved that he would call when he had some time off. So he gave her a call, and they decided to meet up at the mall near her hometown.

When he got there he found her in the food court right outside Popeye's chicken.

"Well hello there General Bob."

"Please call me Robert."

"Ok then, Robert, so what should we do."

"I really don't know I'm still not in the best of moods after that failure yesterday."

"Oh are you still worried about that, you know you really should let it go."

"That's the thing I want to but its hard for me, my whole life I've never failed, not once! My pride has been damaged."

She leaned up and gave him a kiss on the cheek.

"Now I don't want you to think about that at all today. I think I know something that might cheer you up."

She led him into the arcade and over to Dance Dance revolution.

"Oh no I don't dance."

"Come on, it'll be fun."

"I don't know."

"You gotta at least try it once."

"Oh, ok."

With a sheepish grin on his face Bob climbed up on the platform as she picked a song. When the song started, they both got ready, with the woman getting into the beat, while Bob simply started concentrating on his nerves and trying to sync them better with his legs. They played for about an hour, at the end of which, Bob had become much more relaxed, in fact he couldn't even remember why he had been so glum in the first place.

"You know I never thought that would be so much fun. Thanks for getting me to try it."

"See I knew you'd relax after a good game."

"So what do we do next?"

"Well how about a movie?"

"Sounds like a plan."

So they went over to the movie theater, bought their tickets, and got some popcorn. They sat down in the theater just as the movie started. Halfway through the movie the building started to rumble, as if something giant were walking by the mall, then they started getting closer. Suddenly the theatre wall burst in, and Bob jumped in front of the woman to s...

Okay so continues the Story of Bob.

Bob put the pedal to the medal in the MARV and headed toward the front of the base. As soon as he got there he found six basic avatars firing away at the defenses, which had been disabled by a blow to the power network which his technicians were currently focusing on fixing.

"So you think you're tough knocking off the power to my defensive structures. Attention all enemy units, this is Bob the GDI general whose base you're messing with, this is a fair warning surrender now and you may yet live, continue your attack and you will die."

The avatar pilots seemed a little disconcerted due to the fact that the avatars stopped their attack for a moment. Unfortunately the response that came next inspired them back to action.

"GDI general, my my I have not heard of you before, you must be newly promoted. It does not matter, my forces cannot be stopped by your pathetic MARV. Attack him all at once my subjects, he cannot stand up to your combined might."

"Kane, what a pleasure it is to see your face, however I'm afraid I must kick you out of this town, not merely due to the fact that it is a mission given to me by command, but because you threatened that civilian girl in the neighboring town. I will not let such a heinous act go unpunished."

With that the Flare Sword began glowing.

"Mortal I hear your call, and I will respond!"

Suddenly the power levels inside the MARV surged.

"Sir we're getting massive power readings within the core. Some sort of extreme fire energy has manifested and begun coursing through the circuits."

"Well then let's make use of that energy. Channel it all to the main gun. Secondary and Tertiary stations, fire on my mark!"

The energy being given to the MARV by the flare sword was then channeled into the main sonic cannon. The barrel started glowing white hot as the energy amassed at the end.

"MARK!!"

With that the main gun fired at the clustered Avatars, and all the extra weapons stations fired at the same time. The combination of energies caused a massive explosion blasting away the covering over the Avatar cockpits exposing them to the sniper station which opened up and with six shots all six pilots were taken out.

"And that's how it's done. Now let's move out to the enemy base."

"Sir we've located their base at the Pascack Brook Country Club just south of our current position."

"Thank you, lieutenant."

Bob and the lieutenant moved out with a force of pitbulls along to protect them from air attacks. As they came upon the base they noticed that there was a Redeemer Facility as well as a Temple of Nod which were conjoined by a single off the ground bridge.

"Lieutenant looks like that's the building we're looking for. As soon as we take down there primary defenses get that engineer into the building and we'll take down the rest of the base, but be sure to keep an eye on that power meter and notify me when the building is close to losing power so we don't shut the power off before you finish the purge."

"Yes, sir"

"When you're outside the building give me the signal, and we'll blast that building to bits."

So the lieutenant escorted the engineer into the building. In the meantime Bob started tearing through the base with the MARV. While he was tearing apart the base, a transmission suddenly came in.

"Well done General, however if you think you've won you're far from right. Enjoy my special surprise General."

"Shit!! Lieutenant evac now!! We have incoming!! All Forces fall back to the base Kane pulled a fast one on us. secondary and tertiary firing stations evacuate the MARV NOW!!"

As Bob's forces all jumped into the Pitbulls and sped away from what remained of the NOD base A nuke hit just as they got out, and they just barely made it to the minimum safe distance.

When they got back to the base orders were waiting for Bob to head back to Command ASAP. Before he left he went down to the bunker to check on the civilian woman he had rescued, and fallen head over heels for at first sight.

"How are you doing ma'am?"

"I'm doing just fine. How did things go out there?"

"Well unfortunately we were unable to accomplish our mission. Kane caught us with our pants down!"

He slammed his fist down on the table out of frustration.

"Now, now, Bob you kicked them out of my hometown, and you saved all your men. There's nothing more you could do. Not to mention you saved my life."

She reached up and gave him a kiss on the cheek. With this he immediately calmed down.

"Thanks ma'am.
Well Ginger finally got her character started so I can officially go on with Bob's backstory. The dynamics are going to get a little weird, just so you've been warned.

After blowing the Research Facility, and escaping with the rescued civilian girl, Bob brought her to the Chinook which he had hid behind the ridge, when she disengaged from the mech she had been stashed in, it simply disappeared as if into another dimension. He then brought her back to the GDI base, where they immediately took her into custody as a matter of security until it could be determined whether she could be trusted or not.

Bob made his way to the control room to make his report. When he entered the room, the commander slapped him on the shoulders saying, "Well done Captain!"

"Thank you sir."

"We weren't expecting such fantastic results, or so soon! In fact you did such a wonderful job that the head of GDI recommended you for a promotion! To a 1 STAR GENERAL!!!"

"Wow, I-i-i'm speechless sir!"

"Now don't get too comfortable, though GENERAL! We've got another mission all lined up for you. Now this one is more straightforward, it's not really covert at all. We need you to find and destroy a NOD base in the Emerson, New Jersey area. We believe they may be getting ready to mass produce the tech that you gathered intel on at that facility. We need to take it out, except for the factory. Only destroy the factory after you have drained the info on this new tech from their databanks so they hopefully will not be able to start it up again anytime soon."

"So what all will I be getting to achieve this objective?"

"We're starting you off with your own MCV and about 10000 credits to get your base up and running. Once you have your base setup you'll have access to any of our tech you'll need to accomplish your objective."

"Sir, thank you sir!"

"Now get moving general your airlift leaves in 1 hour!"

Bob ran off to gather everything he'd need. He stopped by the holding cells to check on the civilian he had rescued before he ran off to his transport.

"How are you doing so far ma'am?"

"I'm okay. You're not leaving already are you?"

"Yes ma'am I am. I've got to go, they need me to do what i do best. Don't worry they won't do anything to you. They just want to monitor you to make sure that NOD has no influence over you. Also the might want to inspect that mech that NOD had you in. Now I want you to cooperate with them, the more you cooperate the sooner they'll let you go, ok?"

"Ok. Thank you again for saving me."

"No problem ma'am. Well I'd best be off my ride is leaving."

With that Bob ran off to the hangar, and jumped in the Ox transport. The transport dropped off Bob and his MCV near the intersection of Rivervale Dr. and Westwood Ave. in a wide open area with a blue tiberium field nearby. Bob immediately unpacked the MCV and started up construction of the base. He placed his lieutenant in charge of building up the base while he went out on recon. He took a pitbull out to the surrounding cities to make sure that NOD hadn't set up any expansion bases. When he got near the Bergen Mall in Paramus, NJ he happened upon a NOD recon squad in recon bikes chasing a civilian woman.

Bob revved up the engine and took off towards the woman. As he pulled up beside her and in front of the recon squad, he held out his hand for her to grab onto.

"Ma'am take my hand, I'll get you to safety."

She took one look at him, and instantly her heartbeat sped up, and hormones, other than the adrenaline from the fight or flight response, flooded her system. She jumped towards his outstretched hand and took a hold of it. As he pulled her into the vehicle and helped her grab a seat he looked over at her, gave her a smile and winked his eye, which of course caused a quick gleam to emit from his white smile.

"Buckle up and hold on ma'am we're gonna get out of here FAST!"

She buckled her seatbelt just as Bob put the pedal to the medal, and fired off a couple of smokescreen missiles to throw off their pursuit.

"Like em'? They're my own special design. They create a huge smokescreen that's impossible to see through."

"Yeah it's very creative."

They made small talk till they got back to the base. As they came into the clearing where the base was they began hearing Avatar lasers at the front gate.

"Damn looks like things are starting to heat up. Ma'am I'll tell you what we're gonna do. Since it looks like my base and men are under attack I'm gonna have to get us in their fast then I'm going to have my lieutenant take you down to the bunker so you'll be safe till the battle is over. Is that okay with you?"

"Yes of course, I wouldn't want to get in the way."<br...

I've been mulling that over in my head for the past few days, and I have come up with a couple possible answers. 1) maybe I just don't like being treated as if I am in tech support. 2) maybe I really don't like helping people with technical problems (god I hope it's not that). 3)maybe it's just the holiday season (that really shouldn't be, I love the holidays). I may never figure out the reason, however I would like it known that I truly do not mean to sound like an ass if I'm a little uppity about a tech problem.

Well I'm having writers block on Bob's Valedictorian speech so I'll work on that later.

Today's episode shows how Bob ended up in GDI and walks through a couple of his missions. It would possibly include how bob met his wife, but unfortunately Ginger hasn't gotten around to creating her character yet, hopefully on New Years Eve we'll get that taken care of. Anyway on to today's episode.

After graduation Bob was immediately approached by a GDI recruiter. His excellent performance in Civil Air Patrol had GDI very impressed, not to mention him being valedictorian. Due to his rank in CAP he was immediately brought into GDI as an officer and due to his intelligence, he was placed into a covert op squad, and almost immediately sent out on a mission.

The briefing for this mission proceeded as thus:
"We have received intelligence that NOD has been developing a new mobile weapons system at a research facility at the Southern tip of Florida. We can't tell you much else, however we can give you a map of the facility. What we want you to do is take out their capability to develop this system, your secondary objective will be to gather any and all intel you can on this weapons system as well as any other project they might be working on there. Any questions?"

"Sir, I do have a couple questions. Will I be able to receive any backup if anything untowards should happen?"

"Unfortunately this is a very low-key operation, so we will be unable to provide you any backup, you'll have to make use of any and every means available. And your next question?"

"Oh, ah, yes, well do we know how many soldiers and researchers there are in the facility?"

"From what we know there is a research staff of about 50, and a military staff of about 250, any other staff there might be we haven't received word of."

"Thank you sir, that's all the info I need."

So off he went. He took a GDI transport helicopter to the outskirts of the facility. He landed just outside the sensor and audio range of the facility and hid the copter behind a ridge. As he made his way into the facility he dodged by several searchlights and made his way into the facility which was in the shape of a pyramid, as it was the local Temple of Nod. Inside Bob slowly made his way towards the center of the facility. Along the way he peeked in at the different Research and Development wards, in one of the wards he saw several test subjects, seemingly NOD soldiers, outfitted with devices which seemed to be integrated into their nervous systems. As one of the soldiers moved his arm a robotic arm next to him moved at exactly the same time.

"Well this could definitely give them an edge on the battlefield, I can see why Command wants this facility taken out."

As he continued through the facility, he saw more tests in progress, although these tests seemed to be focused on tiberium, as so much of NOD seemed to be. Finally he got to the main test ward, as he peered through the window he saw what looke to be a civilian girl dressed in a NOD pilot suit. She was being dragged towards a monstrous mech which looked a lot like a NOD Avatar.

"This must be the new weapons system Command was worried about, and it looks like the prototype is already complete. Not to mention they're using a civilian against her will in order to operate it. Well time to figure out what to do about this."

He looked around and found what looked like a storage room. He was able to shimmy the door open. He found a giant pile of weapons including: lasers, rocket launchers, C4, and a pile of cybernetic robot parts. However the one thing that caught his attention was a large buster sword set aside from the rest of the weapons and robot parts. Bob walked up to it and reached out to grasp the hilt. As soon as he grabbed the hilt, he heard a voice in his head.

"Do you desire my power?"

Without thinking Bob responded, " I don't desire power, I only desire to be of service to the defenseless, whatever that may entail."

"Well said mortal, if you wish to wield my power I shall have to test you first."

With that the world around Bob seemed to dissolve. When he was able to see again Bob took a look around. He seemed to be in the middle of the desert surrounded by fire. As soon as he got to his feet he heard the voice speak again.

"In order to access my power you must cross through the fire and grab my hilt. If you show even the slightest hint of fear you will be burned."

Bob stood there for a minute pulling together every ounce of his willpower. Once ready he stepped forward into the flames. As he entered the flames, he could feel the heat, and the flames licking his skin. He began to falter and suddenly his arm was suddenly in searing pain.

"Do not show any fear mortal!!"
<br /...

well here's the ongoing story of the fantabulous, the magnificent Bob. On today's episode we see what Bob was like as a child, and a teenager.

Bob was a very well-behaved child, well as well-behaved as any normal child. His abnormally bulky/musclebound body definitely made him stick out from the rest of the students in his class, and others, his teachers especially, were amazed at his intellect despite his physical appearance.

While playing with his friends either at Recess or after school Bob seemed to become a natural leader. When playing "army" or any game like that, he could even strategize to such a degree that those he was playing with couldn't even keep up with him.

Once Bob got into High School, the girls were always so enamoured with him. I guess it didn't really help that he had developed a great dislike of shirts either. Due to this dislike of shirts he constantly came to school without a shirt on, after enough times of being sent to the principals office for not wearing a shirt, the principal finally gave up and simply said that Bob was the exception to the dress code at the school.

He discovered the Civil Air Patrol while in high school as well. This organization fit Bob perfectly, and he quickly rose through the ranks until the only person higher in rank than himself was the squadron leader. At this point he began to help his fellow squadron members with their physical fitness test and promotion tests, and soon the whole squadron was indeed very formidable. Here however his dislike of shirts could not overcome the dress code of the organization and while he disliked it greatly he wore a shirt while at these meetings, after all he couldn't have advanced so far without wearing a shirt.

Sure enough when it came time to graduate, Bob was the Valedictorian of his class. The odd thing was that he received this honor, and had gotten so many good grades with the least amount of work of everyone in the class. While others were studying their butts off for a test, Bob simply looked back through his notes 5 minutes beforehand and aced every test. He took forever to get around to doing his homework, and yet he would always get around to it, and get it done by the time it was due.

So as with any other Valedictorian Bob had to give a speech at the graduation ceremony.

However I am fading fast so I will come up with Bob's Valedictorian speech tomorrow hopefully.

In the meantime stay on the edge of those seats.

You'll have to excuse if some things don't seem too coherent here because I'm thinking this up as I go while also getting chores done at my Mom's house. Also some of this may sound like the Matrix, that is due to the fact that I am watching Matrix: Reloaded while coming up with this.

Anyway this is for those who have been curious as to the back story for my BESM character, Bob.

It was a bright day, brighter than anyone had seen it in a long while. Seers had prophesied the coming of a great warrior, who would have great strength balanced with intelligence, however he would not take too many things seriously and would be very laid back.

At the hospital in Rockford, Illinois in the United States that warrior was about to be born of a very beautiful woman. As the woman struggled through labor the doctors were swarming like a pack of chickens(I don't care if that's not the right terminology for chickens) with their heads cut off. No one knew why the woman was having such trouble giving birth to her baby.

At long last the baby emerged, and it was instantly clear why she had had so much difficulty. The baby's muscles were abnormally bulky for a newborn baby. And on top of that he was holding onto a very odd looking card. The doctors were amazed, where did that card come from, and why did it look like one of those oh so popular Yu-Gi-Oh cards? The doctors just couldn't figure it out.

As the doctors handed the baby to his mother, she looked down at him, smiled, and said, "Welcome to the great big world, Robert."

Well that's all I can come up with for now. Now I gotta nurse this killer headache.

Well as we all know finals are upon us or for some lucky ones are already done with. Wouldn't you know it I'm getting swamped with last minute projects, along with one project that I just absolutely abhor, doing fancy stuff with creating a forum. I have another project which is a storyboard for a 30 second PSA spot trying to change the image of a eco-friendly group from that of a militant group to that of a socially acceptable group and encourage membership at the same time. This one I like though because I decided to use the characters from Final Fantasy 7 to be the "group" and I am using them in situations that actually kind of fit with the original storyline of 7. Thankfully I know that I won't have a final for one class. Oh well just thought like getting some things out. I might actually be putting out an entry describing my BESM character and possibly some of his backstory. So stay on your toes.

Well all here it is, my first deviantart journal. I'm not sure what to talk about. Well I have noticed a great increase in my artistic inclinations lately, I'm not too sure what exactly it is, maybe it's just being around my friends who are so artistically inclined, maybe it's the fact that I am taking my one and only college art class, maybe it's watching doodlepad doodle in the middle of my Development of the theatre class. In any case I have to admit I never thought I'd be drawing so many things, suddenly random things are coming to my mind that I feel I must get down on paper, I know they aren't figures, human or otherwise, mostly due to my own artistic abilities, but I feel that they look much better than I ever thought I could make something look. It's amazing how basic shapes, when combined together, can form something even slightly pleasing to the eye. I think I may have run my thoughts into the ground so I guess I shall "quit while I'm still ahead". Ta ta for now kiddies.
