My rat Hooper recently passed away. Everything has come to a complete halt, and I'm completely devastated.

He's been sick with pneumonia for the last 2 weeks, and I've been taking care of him night and day not being able to leave him. I was giving him baytril liquid which was working for a bit, but soon it became to severe and his breathing was so labored. He was crying and squeaking. It was probably the worst thing I've ever seen. To see my baby in so much pain was heart breaking.. So my brother took me to vet and we had him put to sleep. The vet told me he was suffering, and since he was already old, and not responding to the antibiotics I was giving him, that there wasn't much more I could do for him. They wanted to take x-rays.. and keep him at the vet on oxygen for hours and hours.. and I just couldn't do that to him.

I've fallen so far behind in my work.. and I'm so sorry to the last few people on my commissions list, but I'm really trying to get back on track.

Even as I sit here typing this.. I'm balling my eyes out. I can't stand how much I miss him. He meant everything to me. I can't lie, I'm really not okay at all.

Sorry for this.. I just wanted to let you guys know what's been going on.. thanks for reading.
