anyway, how IS everyone? i've been well. school is just...boring. but what are you gonna do? the teachers are weird, the work is lame, the concepts are screwed up, the food sucks (haha not like i eat it anyway!), and there is no time or energy to take pictures.

luckily! i have limited homework today (i have to choose a living thing made of 5 letters and do some independent reading. as you can see the book is the girl who loved tom gordon) which means there is time for things that i want to do. or i could just relax. anyway it seems whenever i post a picture within the next few days i have 17 faves. forever grateful! remember that! anyway, you should all put on some high tops and drink iced tea and listen to sum 41 and stuff cuz that's what i'm doing now, and not homework, and i'm enjoying it very much! everybody have a great week and remember: christmas is coming, the goose is getting fat

i have no idea how it will go, and the new schedules confuse me. but that's alright because i have some new pink high-tops. yeah that pretty much fixes everything.

okay tomorrow i'm going to the mall and then readying for school on tuesday and then (eek!) school on wednesday and thursday. friiiday i have off and maybe will go swimming (i want to start swimming a lot more, it's great for my back). and this weekend i'm helping move my sister to college! such a stressful, eventful week. art helps me calm myself though (and thank goodness i have an art class this year). other than that, i have 21 activity messages and no energy to thank individually. Oh my God I say this like every journal entry! i feel so bad i can't go to all your pages, but i am still very appreciative!. so thanks!!

i'm not complaining. i love summer and the way that it is.

but i'm in a situation and i need twenty bucks and i'm getting a job soon and i want a new camera so terribly. i want a nikon coolpix L100 - & i want it before the fourth of july. because i will be taking a trip to boston! so it is very important to have a beautiful new camera to take pictures of such a beautiful city.

and right now my hair is wet and i smell like beach and i'm so incredibly hungry because i never even ate lunch, just some free fries from downtown that becca's sister dropped off. and this is just a beautiful day but i can't help being sorry and sad. ♥

so please, ignore the fact that i may post some literature that none of you are interested in reading. that's just how it's gotta be. i'm a freaking sophomore and it freaks me out. and next year will be so foreign but i guess that's the thrill of it.

That way they can see students suffer, cramming information into their little skulls as fast as they can before several examinations, only to have an anxiety attack (or at least flunk) from being entirely overwhelmed.

It's an interesting theory. Yes, today. What a day.

First, a vocabulary test in Adobe Photoshop, then a grueling Geography 50 states and 50 capitals quiz, followed by an Geometry "Special" Triangles and Pythagorean Primitives quiz, then a whopping Ciculatory System exam in Freshmen Science. Give me a break. I'm just glad it's over. I just can't wait until finals.

Anyway, the weekend is almost year!
AND SWINE FLU IS SWEEPING THE NATION. EGADS. IT FREAKS ME OUT OCCASIONALLY.

So... anyway, what else is up. Oh! today, and I signed up for some sort of town cleanup or something on May 17. I don't even really know what it is. Our advisor was talking about it and I was just like "hey let's do that!" Anyway, it gives me 5 hours of community service, so I guess that's a plus.

Guess what?! I'm getting a new computer! Yes, yes! Wooooooooooooot.
My old, six year old HP finally kicked the bucket, and I'm more than ready for a new compu.
Currently, I am using my parents' Gateway, but this weekend I will have my very own! (mine and my sister's)

I guess I'll survive. OH and also in English we are actually writing! I was so happy to hear of this news but then I found that it's just a lame goal essay. Wth? I hate writing these. They are so boring and repetitive. "I want to get good grades...I want to be involved in the community...I want to study hard...." *gigantic yawn* Those aren't REALLY the goals of people my age anyway. The goals of fourteen and fifteen year olds are to get to the next level in their video game or muster up the courage to talk to their crush. People care about grades, but it's not like ANYONE in my class is happy to write this lame essay. Maybe I'll include some of that in my paper. Someone needs to say the truth.

I'm so tired and bored with no energy. I really want next week to be a good week though. Next friday is my sister's drama one-act festival, and my family and I are considering attending. That could be fun.

Ew, we had a two hour delay at school today on account of snow.
I was hoping for it off, but what are you gonna do?

On another note, my feb. vacation is officially over. We went back to school today...it feels like I haven't been in that stinkin high school in months. But how long was it really? A week? Ten days? Whatever. I'm finding both school and winter very tiring aspects of my life right now. I wish something stimulating would happen in school. Like in English! Instead of reading a bunch of boring books about people who lived hundreds of years ago, how about we actually WRITE SOMETHING. One of my very favorite acitivities and the school would rather bore us with Great Expectations and mice and their frivilous men. Look at me, saying frivilous. The vocab in these schools, holy cow. I also have to finish Lord Of The Flies by Friday. I'm only on chapter, what, four? How is rushing going to help us in the long run? Sometimes I feel like ranting is a much more productive use of time than doing the schoolwork that I'm ranting about.

Did anyone watch the Oscars? Good times.

Okay, next up for discussion is my birthday which is on Wednesday. I'm really excited because I'm going to be fifteen and I'm gonna have a big party this weekend! One of my best friend's birthday's is on Feb. 27 so we're going to combine our parties, take all our friends roller-skating and then have a big sleepover! It's 8 girls in all plus my sister and her friend are going skating with us. It's gonna be so fun and I just hope it won't be ruined by something stupid.

So, Valentine's day is right around the corner. Anyone have any romantic tales to tell? Surprises for bfs? I'm single, of course, but it's fun to watch all these strange people being gushy around school. OH and pray for my friend Autumn too. She has this real loser boyfriend and I think they should break up. I know that's kind of rude, but this guy is a jerk and just not good enough!

Haha in science today we had to do all these weird exercises like see how long we could hold a book in the palm of our hand out in front of us. It was really hard and painful but it was fun!! Better than normal science class.

ON A WONDERFUL NOTE: GREAT EXPECTATIONS IS ABSOLOUTELY COMPLETED. NO MORE READING, OOT OOT! THIS DESERVES TO BE IN CAPS BECAUSE I CAN WITHOUT A DOUBT SAY THAT IT WAS THE WORST BOOK I HAVE EVER READ IN MY ENTIRE LIFE, DESVERVES TO BE BURNED AND NOT TAUGHT FOR A SINGLE SECOND IN ANY SCHOOL ANYWHERE. WHY IT IS HAILED AS BRILLIANT LITERATURE I HAVE NO CLUE WHATSOEVER. SERIOUSLY, I COULD THROW UP ALL OVER ZOE'S FACE AND CALL IT A BETTER NOVEL THAN GREAT EXPECTATIONS. IT'S TITLE IS ALSO DECIEVING. IT IS ANYTHING BUT GREAT.
