I will be off to Stanford ( ) in a couple months and I need to start saving up! I'm always inclined to buy a tube of paint or some new brushes over a day's worth of food, but I don't really want to starve in college.

anyway.....I FINALLY WON THEM!!!!!!!!

I've tried SO many times on Ebay for the the Absolution AND Origin of Symmetry Vinyls! AND I JUST WON! Both were $108 after a bidding scramble at the last moment It may seem expensive but considering that they go for 100+ POUNDS on UK Ebay, it's actually quite a steal. I just need Showbiz now and I will be a Muse'mon master!!!


On a second note, something else strange (and sort of upsetting) happened on ebay. I was going to bid on a very cool Radiohead T-shirt which one seller finally has in a size (S). Shipping costs were listed for: UK, Rest of Europe, Canada, and Japan. So, I emailed the seller asking how much shipping would be to the US. He emails me back saying "I don't ship to the US, sorry". Wait. Wouldn't shipping to Canada but not the US be like shipping to Spain but not Portugal? So I email him again and politely ask "just out of curiosity, why no shipping here?". His answer "because people from the US are always really bitchy"

WHATTT? someone explain this to me. 300 MILLION people live here. Are we not all individuals? Am I missing something? Of course, I am sounding like a bitchy american right now I should email him back and say "well, that's alright, I don't buy from the UK because the you all have bad teeth. Oh, and I don't like tea." I've been writing a pwroper review to post on my site, but spent the last week wakeboarding and waterskiing and tanning and eating Huckleberry ice cream in Couer D'Alene Idaho with my cousins from Florida. And the weekend before that, I was doing the same thing (sans ice cream and cousins) at Lake Tulloch in Copperopolis <3

And guess what!!?!?! I GOT A 5 ON MY AP EURO EXAMMMMM!!!! I am so happy right now! But I guess its to be expected, I basically had a non-existent social life because of studying this year, and thank God my GPA reflects it.

Anyway, life is good right now. In a week, I'll be voulenteering at the Stanford Childrens Hospital (painting shoes with littleuns!) and in three weeks, Im going to Russia, vwhere shoes paint you. *not funny* I'm very excited for that though, Russia has really intrigued me since taking Euro. We'll also be going to Helsinki, Stockholm *hums*, and Copenhagen. Maybe Oslo too, we'll see. And then...drumroll......I'll start my AP US summer homework :kill:

and on a slightly stanger note...I have something embarassing to say, it's just a vent. If you don't want to read about annoying girl issues, don't bother

I'm a healthy person, I eat my fruits and veggies, not too many sweets/sugar (and never fast food) BUT I haven't had the time to excersize for a long time. School work has been very consuming, and with my free time I do art or go out with friends. Because of this, I gained a little weight during the winter. But of course, I would never spend the summer dreading wearing a bikini, and sadly only realized this a few weeks ago. Soo...completely panicked, I did something I've been wondering about for a while now...drumroll please....the master cleanse! Yes, I bought into Beyonce's story and tried it (that's the embarassing part). BUT after drinking only (ONLY) lemonade for 5 days, I lost exactly 10 lb, and now I'm happy as a pea. I haven't been hungry even one time, and I drink 6 glasses of the stuff a day (lemon juice + organic maple syrup + pepper) and it actually tastes very good. I'm on the 9th day right now (out of 10) but haven't checked the scale in a few days.
I don't plan on gaining any back, seeing as during the summer, I excersize almost constantly. But I was just completely amazed at how well a "fad diet" actually worked, and made me feel so much better. Part of the reason I tried it was just to prove to myself that I could go 10 days without solid food (I think that toxin-elimination stuff is BS)...so yeah, I guess that's all I have to say.

Thank god it ended in time for England...I'd never pass up fish n' chips!! Veggies do seem much more appealing now though, so I'm not too worried

Ok, so it's 6th period, I walk into my Chem classroom, and theres a sub. I look up and woah, back up, its fucking Tom Hanks!!! My jaw must have dropped. Apparently tons of other people know about this guy but I've never seen him before. It wasn't actually Tom but it's as close to him as I'll ever get. This guy was CLONE! (srry dude if your reading this!) Plus, he nailed the Forrest Gump voice.

Anyway, he obviously gets alot of shocked people. Mr. Hanks "Tom" was written on the board He told us all these stories that were doubly awesome b/c we got to skip chem <3 He said he pretty much lost his personal identity after '95, I sorta feel bad for him. He says that people stare at him where ever he goes and random people always come up to him asking for autographs and pictures.

BUT...becasue of his clone-like resemblance, he was IN Forrest Gump (Tom Hanks was paid $60 Mil for that movie! or as out sub said...he got bank) and the movie Big, the part where he dances on the piano. How cool is that? And now the Bubba Gump shrimp resturaunts want him to be their look/sound-alike for the west coast, sitting on the bench and talking to people. He was like, "I better be paid well to sit outside on a bench and act like a retard"...lolz

Anway, it was an amazing day

I mean, seeing Matt sing and play guitar & piano the way he does solidifies his place up there with Billie Joe as a rock god in my book. And it doesn't hurt that he's danm cute and has a british accent And I can't pick a favorite song they did because after one song ended and the next began, it was like OH MY GOD! I LOVE THAT SONG.... every single time! Begining with Knights of Cydonia and ending with New Born was divine! (I'm running out of adjectives) The only dissapointment I had was that I didn't know all the words to a few of the songs (invincible & soldiers poem)on BH&R b/c since I was in Japan, I only bought it the night before But, some guy threw a pick to me from the stage, so it was all good Yeah, my ribs hurt like hell though, becasue I was jammed up against the barricade the entire time. Yes, it was the best spot in the whole place (AGAIN!) and I was litterally 1 foot away from Matt at times. My camera's a bitch at concerts, but I took some stills from the video clips and I got some pretty good pictures which I'll put on my myspace.

well, anyway, that was the review. If you ever have the chance to see Muse, DO IT (in the mosh pit baby) becasue they are INCREDIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm doing an pic of elijah wood with duct tape over his mouth (just like the one in that 'spread the word about aids' campaign). I might make him Cillian Murphy though, he's a little easier on my eyes, although hobbit boy doesn't look too bad in the ad.

Reading: Da Vinci Code

WOW! I finished the Da Vinci Code last night and that's all I have to say! incredible! I never jumped on this bandwagon, mainly because ya know, everyone and their cousin was reading it. It wasn't until I recently saw an article in my Catholic Church's newsletter telling me NOT to read it that I decided that I would. Oh how my mind works.

Anyway, it was amazing I thought! The writing style was funny, scary, dramatic, and it all played out like a fast paced thriller. And it had what I like MOST in books (or movies) I liked the good guys AND the bad guys (for the most part). Shoot me if you like, but I think Tom Hanks is the immaculate choice for Robert Langdon. I love him, and since I had seen I trailer before I started reading (four days ago), I pictured Tom the whole time as being Robert. perfect. Also, the french actress playing Sophie seems like a perfect fit. The only problem I have is with Silas (see, I love bad guys, I can't help it)... I wish Paul Bettany would grow his hair. I like him alot for the part, he's great, but I'm sure you can all guess who I would have cast, and that's who I pictured throughout the book.

I hope they make the movie as fantastic as the book!

OMG ALL OF YOU HAVE TO SEE RED EYE!!!! It's seriously the best movie I have seen in a long long time. I've been excited about it for like a month since I first saw the trailer!! I saw it last night and OMG!! Just as wonderful as I expected it to be and maybe even more!!! Part of my love for the movie is obviously becasue I have a massive crush on Cillian Murphy. He's so evil! And so hott (especially with his hair in his eyes and that scarf-thing)! I mean he was just sexy...the way only a bad-ass assasin could be!! I was still shaking like half an hour after the movie ended...man...i squeezed the side of my seat so hard there are probably holes in it. I have to rant though....so SPOILER!!!!!!!.....when Jackson died everyone in the theatre cheered....I was like nonononononono! I love u Jackson! I mean...I guess he couldn't have lived and he was being taken down bit by bit (the pen...ouch...and then Lisa's stilletto heel...) but man when that fucking dad shot him a second time...it was horrible. But they ...THEY still cheered. The whole entire audience!! And I was sad. I have to say I did scream when he came out from behind the door. I would have been scared shitless if Cillian wasn't so damn hott. And his eyes.....who in the world could look away?

So, fyi, u probably guessed aready but my next pic is gonna be red eye fanart. Now I gotta go see 28 days later. And Mean Girls so I can watch happily as Regina is hit by the bus. I'm going to the Green Day concert at SBC in San Francisco on September 24!!! If anyone in the Bay Area is gonna be there too, maybe we can meet up

so, besides Kerplunk, I'll do the same CD/Art trade for Hot Hot Heat, Blink 182 (I have lots of their songs, but never got any whole CDs), Snow Patrol, Death Cab for Cutie, the Network, the Vines, the Cure, Nine inch Nails, the Postal Servive, any Adeline Records band, or any other Green Dayish or just good CD. See, I knew about GD in prolly 5th grade, but ever since I started listening to them just after American Idiot came out, I've been exposed to alot more music I like, and I really wanna find some good new (or old, but new to me) stuff. Even if it's like an underground band you know of, send me Mp3s of any CD and I promise I'll do a good picture for you and I won't be late with it!

woot! back from Lax camp and guess what?? All my bones are still intact! anyway I get back and woooopdedo. my biatchie little computer has a virus(es)!! I was almost done with a big pic of my manga characters but now photoshop won't open (along with AOL and musicmatch) and my com freezes like every 2 minutes. I tried norton anti-virus and it said my com had 5 viruses 0___0 and of course while deleting them my com gets the blue screen and dies. So right now, I'm updating on mom's computer. I dun know what to do -_____-' and besides all that I'm having artists block, prolly cuz I'm so tired from camp. So as soon as my computer miraculously gets better by itself, I get it repaired, or something, I will work my butt off to CG the two pics I'm working on done!! The other reason I'm not really inspired to do them right now is partly because of the low response on my last vash picture. I don't ever expect it to get a ton of favorites, but I always wonder if one of the more popular artists on DA had submitted it, if it would have gotten more atention. I know alot of you did comment and and thank you SOOO much if you did! Personally, I think it's one of the best pics I've ever done, and I was just kinda dissapointed that it only has 5 favorites when if one of the DA eleite had submitted, it would have had more -___-; I hope that didn't come across as selfish or anything, but it just made me doubt that I'd ever reach a higher place on the DA totem pole no matter how many pics I submit

Well, If you read that stuff up there, you’ll have seen that my new favorite song is “Heaven’s Not Enough” by Steve Conte (on Wolf’s Rain ost2) omfg it’s so beautiful!!! Now, I’m pretty religious, and of course I think that Heaven IS enough, I love love love this song, and if I get in a car crash or something, this song is going to be played at my funeral (live from Steve of course ). That’s how much I love it!!
Another thing I love is Ebay. I just won all 6 volumes of the Excel Saga manga for $26. So basically I saved $34 cuz I would payed 60 at suncoast ^___^ Hmm. If one night of babysitting gets me 30, heck I’d spend it on 6 mangas!! Have any of you ever used Auction Sniper to win auctions? I’m thinking about getting it
Anyways, I’m working on a pretty detailed pic, and I’m going a party tomorrow (thats being hosted at mi casa -____-; So maybe I’ll submit by Sunday night! or Monday....

BUT I dun think everyone would like having 50 messages that just say "thank you! ". no? I didn't think so. If the comment it long and thoughful, I'll absolutely resopnd! but if its only a few words, well, it just kinda bugs me when some people just say thanks to every single comment, and then their deviantion has lets say 50 comments, and under each one it says "thank you ". but that's just me; I'm not trying to be rude or unthankful cuz I'm thankful for every single comment I get! 1. Draw Kiba (see ref sheet in gallery)
-you can use anything to color/draw with
-you can submit as many entrys as you want!
-you can also draw kiba 'furry' style if that's more your
thing!
2. No inappropriate (sp?) stuffs
3. send entry in note or reply
4. have fun and good luck!
After there are more than 5 entrys, I'll give one more week and then have a vote If you need more time, let me know and I'll stretch the due date ^__^

sorry, no pics of kiba cuz he's gonna be at doggie boot camp for 2 weeks. The "boot camp" is soo cool though! Its up in the mountains in crow canyon and it looks like a great place! but, I did upload a Kiba drawing so you can get started on your contest pictures (please do!) There's no set date, but it runs until I get 5 or more entrys Of course, the contest is to draw Kiba! There are no rules, but please keep in mind that I'm 13 and this is a dog we're drawing here. OMBL I got a doggggggggggggggggggggggggg!!!! OMG you guys, I might get a dog tommorow!!!!!! We went to the pound today and there's this beautiful wolf hybrid (chow or husky) and he's really sweet, walks calmly on a leash, trainable, and is about 6 months old. I know about wolf hybrid's reputation, but unlike most I've seen, this one isn't skiddish or submissive or mean, but really just a playful licky puppy so, unfortunatley, if theres more than one person who wants to adopt him we have to go to the pound tommorow morning at 11:30 to be entered in a lottery to get him. I reeeeeaally love this dog... I love all dogs really, and I'm like the only one of my friends who loves dogs so much but doesn't have one This is my chance, and basically the only only thing I can do to get him is pray to God that no one else wants him, or is there at 11:30. PLEASE pray for me that I can adopt him guys!!!!!!!

does anyone know why my 'scary evanescence girl' was put in scaps? I didn't put it there, I'm guessing a mod did. It may not have been a 'polished' picture, but it wasn't exactly a scrap either. I don't want to get banned, so I'm not gonna move it back, but I think that the whole 'Scraps' program is a mistake. Just cause something is colored w/ pencil, does that make it a scap? insight please
