I know I just updated my journal but I have a frustrating but funny story.

Ok so, We went to Walmart to see if they carried the Princess and the Frog because Target was sold out. I was looking in the electronics section, couldn't find anything, so we asked the sales clerk at the counter if there were any in stock. Here is the conversation:

My Mum: "Do you carry the Princess and the frog CD?"

Sales person: "Princess and what?"

Mum: "Princess and the frog"

Sales person: "Frog?"

Mum: "No princess and the frog"

Sales clerk: "Oooh Ok, *types for a moment* How do you spell princess?"

Mum/Me: *Head desk*

So we spelt it out, she found it but said they had none in stock. We were leaving the store and I noticed some Princess and the frog merchandise, so I traveled over to see if they might have the CD in that area. Sure enough there it was. So yeah... it was an interesting time, Walmart aggravates me. XD

Did you miss me? Lol probably didn't notice because of my frequent inactivity XD but anyways...

So my trip was to Disneyland!! It was tons of fun! I tried tons of new rides, that I was, admittedly, scared to go on before. My new favorite is Thunder Mountain.

The only thing that was bothersome was the amount of children I know that is to be expected but man oh man people do not how to control their young-ens, I am not saying all of them were that way, but the vast majority were not well behaved. (mini rant sorry)

The Halloween party was pretty awesome too! I went as Sally, as did many other visitors, and my Mum went as Cruella De Vil. We stood in line and recieved candy and assorted treats, saw some pretty awesome costumes. There was one group of people that were all the main characters of Alice in Wonderland, they did an amazing job. We also stood in line to pictures with characters, many of the usual ones and ones that I had never seen at Disneyland before. But the best picture was where I was able to meet Jack and Sally from NMBC, they were so cool! Another Kodak moment was when Alice, the Hatter and Jack and Sally interacted, it was hilarious!

BUT the best part of my trip by far: I met the one, the only Bri-Chan - The amazing and talented artist Brianna Garcia! We were at the costume party thing and I happened to look over and I recognized her, I was stunned and estatic. It was only a brief meeting because she had to go, and also I didn't think it would be fair to ask her 5 million questions, but I was able to get a picture with her!

For privacy purposes I will not be posting the photo online, so if you don't believe me then I don't know what to tell you. If you know me however I would be willing to share the picture with you.

My purpose for the Bri-chan story was not for boastful purposes, I was just really excited about getting the chance to meet one of my favorite and most inspirational artists.

The trip was fabulous and I had an amzing time, I can't wait to return, Disneyland never gets old!

I haven't had time for even a journal update lately so sorry for the inactivity. School has kept me swamped so far, and I haven't had much time to draw or upload anything, which stinks. Hopefully once I get into the swing of things I will make time to draw more often. I started another art class which will probably also take up more of my personal drawing time.

UPDATE
Well I am off! Unfortunately I won't be able to enter some of the contests I wanted to participate in but... Oh Well, maybe next time. Talk to you all soon! Bonjour!

I am giving a week's notice because this week will be jam packed with getting ready, packing, and planning. I will be gone for the whole month of July, without convenient access to a computer. I will do my best to try and check messages and such at least once a week, maybe every two weeks. Unfortunately due to my laziness I will not finish requests before I leave, I have started them though. I think I might go through more withdrawls, but I need a break from the computer for a while, I am on this contraption too much as it is. If you have to contact me for any reason (friends only please) e-mail me, I will try to respond if I can.

Tragedy

Two losses this week and passed week. One of our dear family friends passed away, a victim to cancer. He will be missed greatly, he was a wonderful person, he had a large impact on my life. May he rest in peace.

I recently found out that my old and dear friend Loggan and his, whom I used to attend daycare with (when I was younger, and his grandmother were brutally murdered by his sick and demented uncle. What they say about the uncle being mentally illand being off his meds... CRAP. I highly doubt it, its just another excuse to avoid jail. Well I hope you like wearing pink underwear and a striped uniform! That man is sick and took life away from two innocent people! I may be venting and ranting but this is absolutely tragic. He was a wonderful friend, and he will be missed greatly as well. That man left his sister, yes that's right his own SISTER with no mother and one child. Fortunately Logan's sister was not harmed. I am FURIOUS, and sad about this. I am shaking with anger as I write this, but I need to vent. I'm sorry if I may have offended anyone in this journal, or ranted and such, but it needed to be said.

I will miss these two so very much, they were such Amazing and fantastic people. The world has suffered a great loss. May they both rest in peace. I ask for your prayers for their families, and friends, please keep them in your prayers through this terribly tragic time. It is much appreciated.

Also went to a small Kenny G. concet, well more like I got dragged into going to it. It was alright, I mean he is a very skilled Saxaphone player very talented, I am not saying he isn't it was just kind of boring. The music makes you want to go to sleep, its so soothing. The one really interesting thing was that the Sax that he played was the one he had, had since grade school! But yeah, lots of older people and Jazz finatics attended.

Well That's about it not much to report at the moment

Ok I know I just updated yesterday, and your probably getting tired of the frequent journals but this has been on my mond for a while.

Its about twilight, so if you don't want to listen to me rant then you don't have to read any further.

Recently I have read a few reviews, read many opinions, and statements about these books, most of them being negative. I have come to realize they have good points, and that they're not all they are cracked up to be. (I know I know, just no comments on this obvious statement). Other than that the fan girls are outragous, and they ruined the image for the series.

sent me a stamp about twilight, and in the description the artist posted a link to an entertaining post about Twilight and the author also wrote a short, sweet and to the point parody. It made me LOL quite a few times. [link]

I realize that I am probably repeating myself from the last twilight related journal entry, but I just needed to post a few more thoughts about it. So I surrender, I give up on the books and the whole situation, I guess I am now neutral.

Up Up and Away

I recently saw Up, Pixar's latest film, it was really well done! It was unusually sad at the beginning and there was a lot more action in this one, than in Pixar's previous films. Doug the dog is really funny, and so were all the other dogs in the mov... SQUIRREL! The animated short before the movie was also good. Overall the whole fim was fantastic!

I also recently saw Howl's Moving Castle, I normally don't like anime, manga, or whichever itÂs classified under but I liked this particular film. Maybe itÂs because Disney was involved, who knows.

Later today I will be going to meet with my art teacher to put together a portfolio for an event that the university I am going to is hosting. They require you to bring in a portfolio so that they can get an idea of where the future students are at. I am pretty excited, I hope all goes well!

Update of doom

Well I told you I would upload a boatload of artwork when I got the chance! On the last day of school too! Thank goodness, I mean I enjoy school to an extent, but I was burnt out on tests, homework, and activities!

Ok so let me explain the recent series of images I have uploaded:

The NMBC series-> Done for my art class, I had to do 10 images, narrow it down to 5, display them and get them critiqued. I really like Tim Burton's style, and so I wanted to create portraits from one of his most famous movies.

The Burtonized Princes series-> This idea was inspired by 's series, if you haven't seen them yet I highly reccomend it I also was slightly inspired by 's twisted princesses series.

Yes I had several images for each of them, but because a few of them were hideous I refrained from uploading them.

Just wanted to inform you all on what the art was for for those of you that were not in my art class.

More riding and mah ipod

Well I rode last weekend, hadn't had much time to write about it, but I cantered bare back! It was quite nerve wracking at first but once you get into it, its not so bad. So yeah that was my big milestone for the week.

I had also been looking for my ipod for several days, I was really worried about it because I could not find it ANYWHERE. Then this morning I looked under a pile of papers, lookig for something else at the time, and there it was. It was exciting and relieved me of my worry.

Not much else to report, other than finals coming up soon, yippee.

Trail Ride, phones, and Wicked

Well yesterday I went on a trail ride with the gal at my barn, we went in the trails behind the riding park. When we started out, it was kind of barren and boring, but once we got further into the trails we were ambushed by trees, bushes, mini hills, small washes, and we even came across a baby rattler! Luckily the horses didn't spook. I also dropped my phone as we were riding, so I had to stop and get it, but besides that it was alot of fun.

But speaking of my phone, I have had that bloody contraption for approximately 5 years, maybe a bit less, so I was eligable for an upgrade. I was able to get the enV2, its a nice phone, better than my old one that's for sure! I mean don't get me wrong I enoyed that phone, but it got to the point where it turned off randomly, and the reception got really bad.

Oh and I am reading Wicked by Gregory Maguire, and most people I asked about it said it was good, well I have started it, and I'm not to sure about it. If you've read it you know what I mean..
Is the book like this the entire time? Does is get better? I need your reassurance. I will be going to the Boradway production, and now I am a bit concerned... Please let me know! Thank you!

Twilight Haze

Well, I have come to realize, through re-reading portions of the book, watching the movie, and through points that others have made, that Twilight isn't all that its craxked up to be. (I know what your thinking: TOOK YOU LONG ENOUGH!)I realize that, but what I also have come to realize is that it has happened to most I know who have read the books, you get so caught up and obsessed with it ( like heroine XD XD XD (if you've read it you know why I am laughing ) that you don't realize how it really is. To quote "The companies and author are incredibly good at marketing this book to teenage girls" (not the exact quote but similar) Its true you get peer pressure from your friends who read it, overly exposed to it everywhere you go (Like Hannah Montana) and it in a way consumes you. Although I did enjoy the books in the beginning, I am not so sure now. The first and second, and The Host, are probably the best of her books. Anyways this is my epiphany for the week.

On a side note, to prove how I now know how silly the movie was, I found myself laughing as I passed a tv in a store playing the movie, and it was the part where he sparkles... (no further comments)

Well this weekend was busy, I went to a clinic for my goat and we vaccinated, dewormed, trimmed his feet and practiced showmanship, that was interesting, but he did well overall though. But I think he hates me now because, shortly after the clinic we gave him a bath XD, he doesn't like water...

I got to ride this weekend as well, it went mostly well, cantered and did some trot work, then went on a (very) mini trail ride around the grounds. Hopefully I will be able to make it to the barn more often, haven't had enough time lately.

Anyway, sorry for the ramblings, but speaking of time, I hadn't had much time to draw either, so I will try to upload something soon.

Spooking and DVD's

I was able to go and ride today, it went pretty well overall, but near the end the mare I ride spooked and hit the lead line (yes sometimes I require it be used) which caused her to spook a bit more plus my gripping didn't help it either. XD Luckily I managed to stay on, and keep going. Also, one of my trainer's horses is kept near the round pen and he likes to pin his ears and bite other horses, so while I was working on my trot work I had to try and shoo (?) him away as I rode past, it kept me on my toes that's for sure.

In other news, I was able to buy the Twilight DVD today as well, I am pretty excited esp. for the bonus features! Hopefully it will be worth while. ^^

I am so frustrated with my classes right now, in my art class I an having issues with proportions and contour drawings, in my equine class I am having MAJOR issues with studying for the humungous test I have coming up, and math is a usual pain in the rear with me. ERGH I am so angry and upset with myself for not being able to get through these tasks.

I also feel alone, and distant, and I feel like I am not heard and so distracted lately. I hope to make it through this rough patch quickly because I am getting really tired of being sad ansd disappointed with myself.

Sorry for the rant, I am feeling pretty down these days and needed to vent.

TRUE BUT YOU WERE WRONG.....

Saw Coraline today and I thought it was very well done. The story is a very interesting one I must say, but movies done by Tim Burton and his associates(I Know Mr. Burton was not involved in this movie, but his director was) are usually interesting. It was a very dark and twisted story but it was fantastic. I loved the color and the way it was animated. Overall Job Well done!

In other news, I am still behind in requests, and I have so many things that I want to draw, its just so infuriating!

Hopefully I can get a drawing of Coraline up sometime, I like her blue hair

Anyways I got my goat I have had him for almost a whole week, his name is Pierre. I might post a picture when I get the chance, he looks like a miniturized donkey rather than a pigmey goat.

Trail Ride

Went on a trail ride today, it was pretty fun. I rode with another gal at my barn, we went deep into the trails and went down a long street the horses spooked a bit but all was well. We made it back alive . Previous to that I:

-Gave a pony at my barn some cookies (horse treats)
-Cleaned a Western saddle
-Helped clean stalls
-Helped feed
-Put horses away
-Groomed the horse I ride
-Held another horse as we dressed his leg, and took pictures of him with a santa hat on

So now I am really tired and am off to watch House, darn you for getting me hooked on that addicting show.

I SAW THE MOVIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My friends, and their friends and I made a racket while waiting in line to get into the theatre, playing down by the bank, screaming the numbers 1-10 in different languages and defending teams. When we got into the theatre we split into groups and attacked the middleish row taking almost the entire row up. Lots of squeeing and giggling went on throughout the movie...

esp. when he sparkled lolz that was pretty interesting.

So I rode recently and I was cantering and trotting fast and what not and my (I think)combined with me kicking continuously caused her to spook and she TOOK OFF it was flipping scary and fast lol, luckily I stayed on and then I played tag on horseback for the remainder of the night.

My mood thing won't change sooo yeah..

So little time, so much to do

*Warning really long journal entry*

I haven't had any time to update with all of the homework and activities these past few weeks but here is a quick update.

I participated in the 4-H horse judging clinic and got 2nd woot! Mostly exciting since I worked my butt off cleaning the horse up haha.

Next I haven't had a huge amount of time to draw but I have now finished my "The Host" picture for an english project I dunno if I will upload it on here.

Well We got locked out of the house today it was very interesting, we called all our neighbors, and the other people who would have a key no one was home or they didn't answer the phone. So we called a locksmith, but our neighbor finally came over, broke the handle on our garage door and broke into the house. We finally managed to get in and then left for the rest of the day for errands.

Next when we went to the grocery store and came out two dudes from a pizza place were cussing like sailors and litterally beating the snot out of each other, it was scary, the people around them were standing there gawking don't you just love the bravery?

Finally.......I AM SO FLIPPING EXCITED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THE TWILIGHTPEOPLES ARE COMING HERE TO SIGN AUTOGRAHS AND WHAT NOT!!!!!!!!!!! *SQEE* I hope to be able to go and I esp. hope RPattz comes *MEGA SQUEE* since the people who were supposed to come can't come if not if Stepanie Meyer came that would be the bomb diggity yo!

I am also going to a Carrie Underwood concert I am excited for that!!! Weeeeee!!

Have you people seen Get Smart? If not go see it, it is hilarious and can't wait until it comes out on tuesday.....AND THE TWILIGHT CD woot!

So yeah that is all the exciting news for the day

Well several exciting things have come along first and foremost MY SWEATER AND RAVENCLAW PATCH CAME TODAY!!!!!!!!!!!!! WOOOOOO, my costume is complete! Mwahahahahahahaha.

I am also going to try out for the brain team which is basically an acedemic chellenge event, and my first kinda sort of horse show is coming up! Its actually a clinic for 4-h kids but hey practice makes perfect right? Speaking of 4-H I am also joining a new group!

TWILIGHT!! The new trailer I can't remember if it comes out today or tomorrow but I am soooo excited for that as well!!

ANDDD I don't think we can but I reeeeeeeeeeeaaally want to go to D-land for Halloween, I have a party thing coming up for school closer to that time but I hope we can figure it out somehow...

I am also participating in the Susan G Colmen (sp?) Race for the cure this weekend very exciting!

This has been an exciting week and its only getting better! The only bad thing is I have alot of homework to do..

WARNING: If you don't want to read a long rant about my life look away!

Ok well these days have been rough, not terrible but disappointing.

First off I keep making the same stinking mistakes in my riding, unbalanced, leaning, hanging on the horses mouth blah blah blah. I desperately trying to improve but due to previous trainers and lack of knowledge I am all mixed up and am having trouble fixing the mistakes.

Next I feel retarted because I suck at everything but Social Studies (Which I don't have this year funny enough) and English. I know I know it takes time to learn things and stuff but ugh I dunno.

On a lighter note I have been able to get more drawing in, in study halls and what not.

I went and got the NMBC 2-disc special addition DVD WOO not as many bonus features as I would have liked but it was still awsome!! FRANKINWEENIE IS SWEET dude its on the special features WATCH IT. And because I am a dork i got the Little MErmiad Ariel's Beginning it was better then I would have thought XD animation lovely as always however the director was a bit out of the ordinary....*dramatic music*

Well I started school. Nuff said.. nothing much going on at the moment besides boredom. I have not finished Breaking Dawn yet.. I know (ITSBEEN SEVERAL WEEKS ALREADY! WHy havn't you finished it?!) this is because my dear childresn I am taking my time I want to enjoy the final book in the Bella/Edward Series I do not want to rush through it and be like "That's it?! I needdd morreee." I plan to savor it. ANYwho that is the end of my rant.

I just saw the new Batman movie and I have to admit it was pretty awsome! It was a bit freaky and violent at times but the majority of it was very well done. It made me laugh when Christian Bale did a raspy voice to hide his identity and Heath Ledger did an AMAZING job with the joker disturbingly well done I must say.

I also watched Penelope I adore this movie its so cute and has a nice message plus they had a sneak preview of Twilight *coughs distractidly*. Anyway I thouroughly enjoyed both movies!

Well I am back from my wonderous adventure!! I had alot of fun traveling all around the state it was gorgeous, very green and lush everywhere, plus horses where on every corner like starbucks! The BreyerFest was pretty awsome too it was a mad house though the first day we were told to go to the store first and so we did. It was scary. People were running around grabbing whatever they could and shouting and piling models up to mountainous sizes. The etertainment was ok, workshops were pretty fun too. We barely made the flight to head back home and at one point I got so bored that I sketched a man that had fallen asleep with headphones on its was pretty funny. I may upload some pics from my sketchbook I had a TON of time to draw on the plane. I also came hhome my suitcase entirley filled with Breyers plus some in my Mum's suitcase and backpack. I might upload a pic of some of them too. I'll add more later but I am tired out.

4th of July

Wow. My 4th of July weekend was very interesting, the day of we didn't do anything really partially because we're Canadian, so we stayed home and watched Harry Potter. This late entry is caused by the most interesting day of the celebration. Our retarted neighbors who don't use common sense on a daily bases (if you catch my drift) decided Hey! let's go shoot off fireworks at 12:30 at night! It sounded as if someone was being shot multiple times right next to my window and freaked me out so of course we ran to the door to see what was going on. Much to our delight another of our lovely neighbors was trying to say nothing was going on but due to her mouth like a sailor and lack of common sense she pleaded her case poorly. We caught the culprut and bawled them out and then listened to our neighbor repetitvely cuss and yell. This is only a taste of how are neighbors reveal their true colors.

Well I have finished all of the current twilight books.. now I will be anxiously awaiting the arrival of Breaking Dawn it seems like it will take FOREVER until it comes out.

Well its official I have been sucked into reading the Twilight books I have just started the first one and its pretty good I have to admit. When they say its addictive they weren't kidding, I am usually a bit skeptical about those kinds of things but yeah read it and you'll see what I mean.
