School is out, Summer is in. Might be getting a job. Oh Lord, but I do hate money. The Root of All Evil. The furniture in our dining room has been moving around. Wouldn't have this issue if I had some freaking space in my bedroom. Not that it's really my room, it's more my brother's. I just happen to sleep there. But that's neither here nor there.
Sorry for my lack of activity on here, but I honestly don't care about submitting anything to this website anymore. I honestly feel that if I have something that I am really proud of and want to display as an actual art piece, then putting it on this craptastic website is superfluous. Seriously, what's the stuff that gets the most looks on this site? Fan art, generic manga chibis, and other deliciously unoriginal junk. There are so many things wrong with DeviantART, I'm not even going to post them in a journal. No, I'd rather display my artwork the same way real artists do.
My artistic "style" is "improving," I guess you could say. But I don't believe I can improve my artwork, I simply believe I can make it take shape. I don't really submit anything I do on here. I mean, how often do I show you guys my tailored stuff or my sculptures? I'm sure you'd love to see them, but I don't care to put them on here, as I've stated plainly already.
Most of the people here either have such a modern attitude, it sickens me or they're unoriginal (or worse, art thieves,)or they treat this place like a Myspace/Flickr site where they dump worthless and redundant photography. Wooh, I took a picture of a pretty sunset with my digital camera. Woop-de-freaking do. Did you make the sunset? What did you do with the focus, contrast, and lighting? I'm sorry friends, but this falls under the category of "What is art?"
It's like those meaningless talentless goth/emo (yes I DID just put those in the same category) that honestly think they're poets or writers because they wrote a bunch of lines about how bad it sucks to be them, about blood, and about how freaking pretty their knife is. Is it me, or did the goth culture completely turn on itself by being so non-conformist that they formed a mold? Teenage kid with a piss-poor attitude who thinks he's fancy because he shops at Hot Topic and has ghastly piercings.
It's as though the only true way to be a rebel is to stay in school, get a job, be a republican, and do what old people tell you to do. I hate this time period, where people worship uncreative and unoriginal ideas like Twilight or Eragon, where graffiti is treated like genuine artwork, where a man can be elected President simply because of his race, and worst of all, where people think they're something special because of the color of their phone.
Am I leaving this site? Absolutely not, don't be ridiculous. There are some earnestly talented artists here, even if they're scarce and see very little attention. These are people who merely face the misfortune of not being able to put their artwork some place besides this prepackaged web site. These are people that actually work on their artwork and make it exactly that, artWORK. Where "Steampunk Modding" is building great things out of brass, copper, and steel riveted together instead of plastic bottle caps glued to a Nerf Maverick and spray painted copper.
You know what? In a sense, I am leaving this site because I'm never going to post any "artwork" on here ever again. I'm using this site only to applaud those who really know what art is and how to make it. To Hell with this bastardized place, the art culture of Planet Earth has gone in a cloud of smoke. If you've read this journal this far, which I know you haven't, don't leave a comment in agreement. Jesus people, I've had enough with agreement. Somebody stop kissing my ass and tell me I'm wrong if you disagree. But come with your guns loaded. I want proof. I want evidence. No, I'm not sorry for a "rant." I don't care.

Well, I have come to the conclusion that nobody other than the mouse wishes to partake in the Kaiju contest. No prize will be given, sorry. I just figured that I'd maybe get a few contestants after waiting for two months, clearly I was mistaken. Perhaps my expectations of you fine people were too high?
I haven't submitted anything 'real' in an age or two. Don't expect me to, either. This gallery is VASTLY out-dated. If I kick back up and start drawing again, I'll probably be dumping it in a new, more organized gallery. Don't think I've stopped drawing- oh, I draw all the time, but I don't plan to submit anything until I can come up with a higher caliber than DevianTART (and I do mean TART)stuff. If there's something that you find while scrolling through my gallery that looks old, then it is. I'm still cleaning it out. Hey, a lot changes about your artistic style in two years! The bulk of what I do now is not drawing and sculpting, but sewing and writing.
My current artistic projects are as follows: revamping my pirate wardrobe (this will involve sewing a new coat, which I'll be doing this week,) creating a pulpy "zombie-Nazi-soldier" costume for either Emerald City Comic Con or Halloween '09 (oh, yes. I will be offending some people this year,) Ogle Laboratories is still ago (the only thing that's been taking up time is the fabrication of a better script. I won't put on a spectacle of awesome props and costumes if the story and jokes SUCK,) expanding my puppet making skills (working on my first hard-mouthed puppet ever,) writing a variety of things, and feeding those dashing Tribbles.

Ladies and gentlemen, I'd like to announce yet another contest. Sorry winners of the Z-challenge if the prize thing is an issue, I'm doing the best I can to balance things out right now. But today's contest is to design a kaiju. A kaiju is a big mean monster that crushes a large city such as Tokyo. fine examples of these magnificent beasts are Godzilla, Rodan, Gamera, King Kong, and if you want a stretch, then that thing in Cloverfield. oh, or any of those giant monsters that the Power Rangers used to fight. Do they still fight those guys? I will also accept entries of giant robots, so long as it's a creature or device intended for destroying the public. Whoever draws what my judges and I believe to be the best or most original will get their kaiju chibied and made into a sewing pattern! I will design the pattern myself and submit it here to DeviantART. Be creative, people. I would PREFFER COLORED DEVIATIONS. Black and white is fine, but come on. We all know that Godzilla is totally GRAY not GREEN. More definition of color makes that easier to tell. I am not putting a due-date on this. When I did the zombie contest, I only gave you people a week and I only ended up with two entries!

I usually use this thing for rants and announcements. For those who don't know, I am now currently APART from Yeah, shush. She's still my friend and I love her like a good friend.
Things otherwise have gone to Hell in a handcart, don't bother asking how or why. All I can tell you is it's beautiful. Emotions I've felt over the last four days: Rage, happiness, content, misery, hate, and the strongest of all, love.
Feeling any of the above as strongly as I have is a good thing. I need this. Beautiful emotions, they keep life entertaining, like a good book. Even if it's a comedy or a tragedy. Yeah, not listing specifics. To do so would be to be a whiny emo, something that should be saved for my private thoughts. I'm pretty good at bottling things up, you know.
I'd like to announce something: I'M STILL FINE. Yeah, stuff sucks But I can dig it. Bin through worse, I think... Ah well. I still have my health, I have my music, my friends, and my God. Things could be a lot worse, it's just been a rough week of a great month. I figure I'll bury myself in my work, that always makes me feel better!

Okay people, here we are! Starting today, October 23, I challenge everybody who reads this journal to draw as many zombies as possible. The format is simple: Black and white REALISTC inked drawings of zombies.By realistc, I mean human praportions. No shading, just black and white. Every zombie you submit, post into this journal. On October 31, the day of the Zombie invasion, we'll combine all these living dead into one big zombie invasion picture.

Okay, first of all, bullocks. I've been having the most insane moments of my life over the past month or so. I haven't been submitting much lately, obviously. Well, I've been drawing a bullockload but not submitting anything. I've been too flogging busy. So, did anybody see Kung Fu Panda? That movie kicks arsenic. As does Iron Man, which founded a new saying around history class: "OMG JERICHO MISSILE!"
Narnia rulz as well, but it was released in the wrong month, so it doesn't fit a bit. I mean, competing with Indiana Jones? Good frickin' luck. Indy, by the way, also was good. They stretched the plot as far as they could without suckage. I'll submit pictures of my most recent projects: a Civil War Union Cavalryman teddy bear and a pair of Falcon and Kardava PUPPETS.

Well, I have too many costume/cosplay projects going on once again. I'm about 50% finished on a Deep Dive trailer Riku cosplay, 20% on a Larxene cosplay for Shayna, 40% on a Predator costume, 30% on an Aliens costume, 99.9% on a Halo 3 Assault Rifle, and ideas keep popping up for OTHER projects. Various Final Fantasy things, Kingdom Hearts things, Star Wars things (even on DA, I am embarrased to admit I am a Star wars costumer..)
Wow, I really am turning my school life around... strait Bs and As with no detentions, referals, or tardies O_O That's especially strange considering you get an automatic irreversible afterschool detention if you turn an assignment one day late. My secret- I WORK MY FRICKIN TAIL OFF!!!
So yeah, deviations are going to be quite slow. I'll try and make a nice little Christmas picture for you guys, but don't expect anything soon.

Okay, I've been working VERY hard on a new revised draft of BOC. I've completely scrapped my original idea and writing to incorporate a better grasp on the historic aspect. The whole girl-on-a-ship thing is further explained and I cut a few characters out.
If your character was cut, don't be sad. it's still probably a rocking cool character, but it's just not going to fit in this story. I'm a perfectionist. I will not publish a book that basically follows an rp chat.
For those of you who have characters that don't make it, I've decided that they WILL end up in the story. Once I'm finished with BOC, I want to get into a manga spinoff about Derk Falcon, Falcon's dad. I'll include the more whimsical, stranger characters in this. (Trust me, this is GOOD news. this means that not only will your character NOT be a fly in the ointment of good historical content with BOC, but you're more than likely going to get a MUCH bigger part in the story. This means you Dess and Liney)
Please, don't make any requests or demands about this new draft. This isn't meant to throw together a bunch of idiocy and playfulness. This is a story.
No I won't post the story on DeviantART. It's too long, not to mention it would be 100% available to plagiarism and theft. I'll send a printed draft to Shayna for her to check off, then it's going strait to a real printing press for publishing. I'll take care of that too, don't worry.

Okay, here's a list of reasons why I can never write and publish the Blood Oath Chronicles. Most of them are because of being unrealistic.

1) Look at the character names!!! Falcon? Kardava? Aiya? I'm sorry guys, but there's no way a normal reader would believe anyone named their kids that back in the 17th Century.

2) The missmatched characters on the ship. In all reality, it is indeed true that there could be women on the ship. but blue ones? ninja girls? Back then women were much plumper and wussier. Very few atheists too. Maybe two girls on the ship would be possible, I mean, Jack Rackham had Marry Read and Anne Bonnie, but there's over twelve girl sailors in the story. And I don't want to get anyone angry by not PUTTING the character in the book.. (Jack and Anne are my biggest inspiration for BOC btw)

3) Too much like POTC. Even though BOC is very little like Pirates of the Caribbean, readers are stupid. they don't think on scales like this. (imagine the interchangeability of Jean Falcon and Jack Sparrow)

4) Shayna's gone. without her insight, I can't write this thing.

5) I have other projects going. One is a story about a Genie. One about UndertheOverlordrp, one about a kid in an asylum, and I still want to write a history of Wonderland with Liney....

I'm sorry guys. Unless you're willing to change your characters around (I'll change Falcon too, but I'll need to get a hold of Shayna) there's never ever ever going to be a Blood Oath Chronicles. If we do get the changes going, I promise a rewrite of the first draft of Blood Oath Chronicles: Stormchaser.
Sorry everyone.... I'm just trying to be realistic here. I DO plan to go all out and publish this thing, so I have to have it original and realistic or else it won't sell. I could even get sued for having too much like something else. Pirates were murderers and thieves. Not cool ninja fighter-robots from another place in time.

BOO! Halloween is upon us! So I'm working on an Audrey II plant puppet. and I promised Tiffany I'd help her with a pair of nekomimi! So I'll be doing those and submitting pictures. and with my new style of coloring, you're gonna see a lot of new- better looking- drawings in my gallery! I wanna do more mechs and Godzilla, plus open up with an Alice in Wonderland series. Plus eventually I'm going to go back to the Pink Floyd: The Wall drawings.

Alright, the main idea of this RP is robots. This society is ruled by a communist dictator simply referred to as the "Overlord". This is NOT like the FantasySifiRP or RiseoftheBereRP, those are wars. This is just a dictatorship, nobody's rebelling against him officially, just small time organizations and stuff. However, he looks at these organizations as "crime" even though they're good guys. Plenty of people are AGAINST him, they're just not organized and fighting. The society is kinda similar to feudal society, but a little more organized. There is the Overlord, and under him is the military.
The military is grouped up of a bunch of really big beefy robots. Their only purpose is to fight and hold back a rebellion. They aren't built or programmed to think individually or feel any emotions. They just follow orders and fight. They are unisex, as there is no need for females in their division. These guys are big, bulky, and tough. They work to serve.
The next class is the Hunter Class. They are a force of military robots and are identical to the normal military bots, the only difference is that they can think and feel. They aren't used all that often, but sometimes as small police force and special military operations. They're heavier armed than the military class, and totally cooler. They are also available in male and female varieties.
The next class down is the worker class. These are the most... human robots in the rp, and the characters that everyone's gonna wanna be. There is a difference between male and female. Although they don't mate, they DO feel love. They keep each other motivated. They all look humanesque, but metallic. They are painted kind of like cars.. in the sense that they worry about polishing, wax, color, ect. Everyone is built with a purpose. they are office workers, construction workers, entertainers, all sorts of normal things. They're totally humanlike, NOT LIKE IN THE MOVIE ROBOTS. they are humanish! >< These are the middlemost class.
The final and lowest class is an NPC class. this means nobody wants to play as them. Trust me. They are objects and machines. Small little streetsweeping robots or hovering trashcans..... you know, boring stupid futuristic stuff. You are not allowed to play as one of these because it is dumb and boring and nooobody liiikes it.
okay, RULES:
no godmodding. This means no making your character impossible to kill or not killable in battle.These are robots, meaning they can be repaired, but they still can be disintegrated or killed.
no talking about religion or politics/ highly debatable topics. This always always ALWAYS ticks someone off. If someone else says something about one of these topics, and you harass them or make a comment about it or anything along those lines, YOU are to blame, not them. This is because everyone has a right to speak their opinion, they just don't have a right to shoot another one down.
no spamming or advertising. that's simple and basic.

Well, everyone you know and their dog has written a journal about summer movies, so here's my list. These are not in order of best to worst or anything like that, but I'll rate them based on what I've seen.

Transformers- AWESOME special effects, and they really improved the look of everything compared to the corny toyish show look. Michale Bay and Steven Spielberg are a good combination as all of the characters act independently for their own needs or purposes. This movie deserves all the credit it is being given and both sequels they have announced. The only major flaw is a little too much fast-action stuff, not really enough time spent developing the personalities of each robot. It was going so fast, alot of times you couldn't tell who was fighting who. Overall, I give Transformers an 8/10
Live Free or Die Hard- This movie was nearly perfect. Even for someone that hasn't seen the other Die Hard movies, this was an awesome flick. Right away you get to know all the characters and see some really well done action sequences. The ideas and concepts are actually realistic for an action movie! (gasp!) Almost everything done in the movie is possible. If anyone has seen the Arnold Schwarzenegger film "True Lies", you'll find a few similarities to this movie. (just the way the bad guys work, only this badguy is more realistic- I hate it when action movies always have terrorists as the badguys, they're not smart enough to do that kind of stuff)The only downside to this film was that you can tell they were held back by rating. This was a PG-13 sequel to an R series. They try a bit too hard not to show too much gore or heavy swearing, which is especially difficult considering their main character's catch phrase. (yippee Kiyay, mother f****er) Overall, this film gets a 9/10

Ratatouille- Here's a bit of a different movie than the other two I have mentioned. Ratatouille was pretty much perfect. I'm not going to go on about how flawless the animation, even though that was a great tradition from Pixar (the film has perfect texturing in places where it doesn't even NEED it, and all the stuff does what it's supposed to, yadda yadda yadda). This movie had a soul. Character. You have to love everyone's reaction, the crazy French chef at the beginning of the film (who looks a lot like Napoleon), Remy and his family, and the ominous, dark, food critic (who looks just like a Tim Burton character) The story, from beginning to end was perfect, and greatly reflected the Disney company, in the sense that it was about a famous resteraunt owned by a lovable old chef who believes anyone can cook. He dies, and the resteraunt is taken over by a hustler who uses the reputation of the resteraunt to sell cheap, microwave foods. The resteraunt is saved by a young up-and-coming chef who takes over and turns the place back to it's former glory. (in short, it goes from Disney to Eisner to Bob Iger) Overall, this film gets an amazing 10/10

There are other major motion pictures out right now, and basically, everything that hasn't been mentioned here..... sucks! I haven't see n Harry Potter yet, but I heard it's just... eh. So yeah, when it comes out, I'll try to get a reveiw for ya!

If someone else says something about one of these topics, and you harass them or make a comment about it or anything along those lines, YOU are to blame, not them. This is because everyone has a right to speak their opinion, they just don't have a right to shoot another one down.
no spamming or advertizing. that's simple and basic.

The title? Pff, it's a Ben Folds album. Don't ask. The Ben Folds Five - The Unauthorized Biography of Reinhold Messner.
Anyway, I've been putting together scratchbuilt figures, like the ones I submitted a while back. My current project is Alice, from American McGee's Alice. THAT IS THE SINGLE BEST VIDEOGAME EVER. You don't have to be a fan of games to love it. Anyway, this is of about... 120 mm scale. (for those who aren't figure savvy- which is most of you- That's GI Joe and Barbie scale.) she's pretty awesome looking, but I need help.
Does anybody have any sculpting advice? I need advice on finding a clay that suits perfect for what I'm doing. I've been using two different kinds, one is sculpy. Everyone and their dog has used sculpy before, so you know it's qualities. It's good because I can sculpt, then come back days later and make an adjustment, because it's bakeable clay. This is easier to shape, but unfourtunately is very fragile. Fragile is bad.
The other clay I use is called two-part epoxy putty. Most of you prolly haven't used this, but it's a type of resin that comes in a box. Inside the box is two little wrappers. In these wrappers are two seperate kinds of clay. Alone, they're useless. They won't harden if you bake them OR if you set them out. But when mixed together, they sculpt like any normal clay. After a few hours, they harden like ROCKS. They're REEEEAAALY tough, in great contrast to the Sculpy. However, because they're a nonbake clay, you have to shape it quickly. When it comes to complex shapes and special surfaces such as faces, this is a major pain. But you see, the hardness and the bulk quantity of this product makes it stand out above others. The fact that it's nonbake isn't ALL bad. You see, when it comes to doing figures MY way, you tend to use all sorts of materials. This includes alot of styrene plastic (the greatest gift from God since Superglue). This stuff melts very very easilly in high-heat, so when it's put with clay, it has to be put with nonbake.
So if anyone has advice on that, PLEASE.... give it to me. NAO.
My other thing is I need help sculpting lips. I suck at lips. They hate me. I'm good at eyes, noses, cheeks, chins, hair, detailing, all that. But lips blow.

So the story starts out with The Blood Oath pursuing the Stormchaser. Not too hard to do, considering the Stormchaser in this case is a slower, heavier ship. However, once they catch up with her, the Stormchaser's advantage of being heavier armed takes in place, and they almost sink the Oath. Falcon mannages to flee with the Oath still in mostly one peice, minus the foremast and greatly dammaged. They refit in Jamaica and develope the plan to sneek up on the Stormchaser, as Falcon still wants it as a prise. So they head out and encounter a HUGE seastorm, one that knocks the ship almost clear over, but they weather it through. (basically where my Storm of the Seas picture comes in, but even worse) So the Oath keeps on going after the direction of the Stormchaser, then encounter an armed Spanish trade galleon whch they plunder easilly (because the trade galleons SUCKED) and then finally after a few more weeks of sailing, The Oath catches up to the Stormchaser and sneeks up on her tail. Descirbed by a couple chapters worth of reading, the Blood Oath wins the battle and keep the Stormchaser as a prise. But the Stormchaser's captain is nowhere to be seen- Captain Terra escapes before she can be pressed into the crew of The Blood Oath, with her child in her arms on the Stormchaser's cockboat (A rowboat thing, but long and wide so it holds alot of crewmen) closing the story openly.
Okay, the story needs to be worked on, but this is just a summary of the first draft. Throught the whole time, I kind of hint at a relationship developing between Kardava and her captain, but I plan to dive deeper into that in the second book, which gets alot more personal.
So please critique me, give me ideas and comments, I need more! As far as the seacond book goes, I've been writing small ideas down. I want to put in Spanish pirate hunters, imprisonment, capture, romance and more.. I don't have that one quite pounded out yet, as I''m still working on the first book

As you may have noticed (Yeah right) in my picture "A Day in The Life" Written on the pantleg of the character on the right is IX HE DIE ^
This is a referance to the aledged death of Paul McCarteny in 1966. Clues were ALEDGEDLY scattered about in various albums, including SGT. Pepper. The words Lonley Hearts Club Band, when a mirror is put in the middle (I've done this before, it was wierd) the words turn into 1 ONE I X HE ^ DIE. The ^ is pointing right up at Paul. [link] At the end of the song "Strawberry Feilds Forever" when listening VERY closley, (again, I've tried this. it almost gave me nightmaers) you can hear someone saying "I BURRIED PAUL!!" And believe me when I say, these clues are real. some of them were included on purpose, some were just immagined by pot-smoking fans. This one's not an rp so much as it is a tool. Most rooms, including mine, usually have a rule of "take it somewhere else" Well, here's that somewhere else! I've created this room so that when people need to argue, they have a place to do so. Swear all you want, I don't really care. One rule: this is not a debate room. you should take debates to specific debate rooms. This chat is about three schools colaberated into one campus. The school is one campus, yet holds all three grades (elementary, Junior High, and Hghschool) now, before you start throwing full wine bottles at your computer screen, lemme tell you this: you can use any character from any rp ever made. just, within reason. example: I plan to use Falcon from pirates, but I'm going to modernize him and fit him in. The really cool part is, you get to play as yourself too! keep in mind, it's YOURSELF. not what you WISH you were, but what you are.

no godmodding. This means no making your character impossible to kill or not killable in battle. if your character is "already dead" like a vampire or something, there should be some ways to kill them. PRACTICAL ways.
no spamming or advertizing. that's simple and basic.
no arguing. you will be kicked or banned. if it's a practical argument, keep it clean.
When talking OOC (out of character) use brackets. that means ending your sentances with )), ] or }.
swearing? go ahead. but if you do it too much, or if I feel that you're not using it right, you'll be kicked. if this becomes chronic, it will end in a banning.no killing other people's characters without their owners permission. if you want to kill your own character, like with suicide or something, make sure you AND your character have a good reason first.
the laws of physics exist. that doesn't mean that magic is restricted, but it does mean that you should start making up random stuff and saying it.

PURPOSE
PiratesOTCrp is to post a either a pirate, navy, savage or thief character to role play as. You can pillage, plunder, drink or protect your fleet from the pirates!

RULES
1. No spamming or advertising!!
2. No godmooding! Godmooding is where you make a character impossible to kill. Also, if you do own a ship, you can't make it keep dodging cannon balls or anything like that. And you really can't make it faster than the Black Pearl. That's the fastest ship in the Caribbean, mate!
3. No cyber!
4. No stealing or 'borrowing' a char that is already made, such as Jack Sparrow, Will Turner, etc. If you really want to role play as them, ask the Captains if you have permission first! And if you do so, STAY IN CHARACTER!!
5. No argueing in the room! If you really want to argue with another person in the chatroom, take it to another room! (Unless its in the role play, of course.)
6. No killing a character unless you have the creator of a character's permission.
7. Stay in character! Pirates used pirate slang, not juggalo slang.
8. No coming from the future or having weapons from the future! This rp was set in the Golden Age of Piracy, they really didn't know what a machine gun was!

PRIVLEDGES
1. If you're one of the first three people to post a character, you can be a Captain or Commodore. If you are a Captain, you can own up to three ships as your fleet.
2. If you're one of the first five people to post a character, you can be a first mate, if you'd like.
3. If you're one of the first ten people to post a character, you can have a pet. These include animals such as cats, monkies, birds, and other small animals just as long as they don't look like rats. Pirates often shot the rats that they found on the ship.
