Story behind HERO + Windows 7

_{I told myself I will not update my journal until I finish my latest piece, which thank God is finally done. Check it out guys, worked real hard on it;

As I mentioned in the Comment's, I came up with a whole story for the piece, so here it is;

- - -

The central character, the hero, is the blazing dude in the front. He was once a regular college kid, athletic and loved by everyone. One day while driving with his parents, an accident occurred leading to the death of his parents and the loss of his arm. Having no recollection of what actually happened during the accident, he blames himself for the death of his parents, his grief leading him to drop out of college and become emotional detached from the world. His only companions are his pet cat and turtle. He obtains himself a prosthetic arm which only further fuels his anguish.

He soon learns his athletic abilities have somehow enhanced, having even saved a couple of lives. He has as well experienced flickers of elemental/chi powers. Then one day, he is visited by a lil' pixie kinda woman (who later falls madly in love with him) who has been watching him and believes him to be some sort of 'hero'. She offers to amplify his powers. He refuses but when she tells him the accident, which seems to be the origin of his new abilities, which killed his parent may not have really been an accident but purposely caused by someone, he accepts. So she advances his powers and transforms his prosthetic arm into a robotic arm.

And so while trying to discover the truth behind the accident, the death of his parents and his powers, our hero, with his team of the lil' fairy woman, his cat and turtle, undergoes exciting adventures and battles against everyday villains like a talking evil tiger, the grim reaper, a sadistic business man who wants to transform the world through foul means, a samurai and so on. He even makes some new friends who aid him every now and then, like a lost whimsical pirate in search of his crew and an alien robot who has come to study earth.

Lol, well I hope you guys take a liking to my latest piece. I kinda completely dedicated myself to this piece and so now that it's done, I can finally move on and back to other projects.

US Tour // I'm back

And though I actually returned on the 14th of August from the US, only recently have I resumed my daily activities and have fully recovered from exhaustion. So yeah, I'm back.

On the July 20th I left for the US and I had the most amazing time of my life. I wrote a mega long entry for my LJ so I'm gonna just stick to a summary here.

From Washington to California, Arizona, Denver, Florida, New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvannia. For me the highlight of this trip was San Diego, CA. Not only is San Diego awesome, it was where the TBRS Reunion '09 took place. I had the most terrific time ever. We went to Comic Con which was pretty amazing, I'm actually looking forward to going there again next year. Aside from Comic Con, we had a whole lot of fun. I'm always going to remember San Diego cuz not only was it where I met my TBRS friends, but where I finally got meet Sarah (~raven-of-shadows) as well.

I could go on forever about all the fun I had in all the other states like Arizona and Florida...but I actually did in my LiveJournal and honestly my fingers are still hurting lol. You can read my journal if you wanna know about my whole trip.

So yeah, this trip was one of the most greatest experience I've ever had. I really can't put into words the amazing time I had. And I've come back with so many fresh ideas, so I'm very eager to get back into my work.

I hope everyone else has been doin' alright =]

Left for Islamabad on Sunday for our Visa interview at the US Embassy. The interview was on Monday morning and um...heh, was quite the day.

Anyways, after returning on the same day but around night time, I've been catching up on some work which I am still sorta catching up on.

I've been really dissapointed in myself recently, in terms of my work. I'm looking at my work and...I dunno, I'm just not happy. Not because I don't like my work, but because I have yet to get anywhere with it. I don't exactly have my own original style, but that's not what I'm worried about, originality takes time. I'm just fustrated as of recently with my inability to produde something creditable. Another thing I've always been fustrated with about myself is having these wonderful ideas but never being able to create them. Is it because they are too complex and I don't have the proficieny to do them? No, actually...I just...never get around to doing them.

But I am looking to change that. Recently I recieved some amazing inspiration from various new artists I have discovered, not from DA though, and it was practically nourishment for my brain. So here's hoping I can finally make some advancements.

Well anyhow...anyone going to Comic Con this year?

Heyyy guys. Sorry for the lack of updates. Recently I've been inspired to expand my work, doing more aisde from photomanips. Been kinda checkin out different stuff and I got myself a sorta vision of a new scope, soooo...here's hoping I can pull this off. Already gotten started it actually. I'll still do photomanips and stuff but ya'll can definitley expects some newer things from me as well.

Btw, I've gotten a lot of requests for tutorials and well I've been thinking video tutorials for while now, only recently seriously considering it, so yeah what kind of tutorials would you guys like to see from me? ASIDE from photomanip designs, cuz those would be too long and I honestly don't have that much free time on my hands.

Anyways....dang I need a sub. My bank is being gay at the moment...as usual.

Btw, I have a problem I was hopin' someone could help me out with. This problem came up a while ago, whenever I create gradients (mostly ones with black variations) in photoshop, this grain texture forms over it, like a really low quality jpg image, and when I look close enough, the grain is animated o.o

Gettin' pretty fustrated, dunno why it's happening though. Any help would be appreacited!

_{I'm back. Phone lines were busted so I had no internet access for quite some time.

v6 huh? I suprisingly actually like it.

Will be heading to Tampa, Florida in a matter of 4 days for the TBRS Reunion. After the Reunion, I'm off to spend a week in Arizona with *raven-of-shadows.

Totally excited for this trip. Gonna be my first time in the States.

Oh yeah, many of you have been asking when I'm gonna get up some more artwork. Well I have lots in the work, all of which are basically incompleted. I've got FFXII fan art, TT fan art, GFX work and a few original comics.

I'm 17...yeah...

Ya know what's cool? It's currently Ramadan, and the Saihri today was at the exact time I was born. Heh.

Well anyways, some of you may about that whole birthday 'curse' of mine. How something bad always happens on my birthday. Always. The only 'bad thing' at the moment is that my best friend ain't around. She's in england, will be comin back tomorrow.

New Journal Look + First Job

Well I got a new look for my journal. Looki! It's Nono! Hehe, I just love Nono x3

Anyways, I haven't updated in a while cuz I've been quite busy, as usual. I doubt I'll be able to do a TBRS Desktop Calendar for this month, just got too much going on.

Oh and I got some news to share. I recently got this job to make a website for this business, political like group, which my dad is also a part of. When I my dad showed me the site...I swear, the crappiest site I've ever seen...or at least one of them lol

So yeah anyhoo, they needed a new site anyway so my dad told them about me and...well all in all I got the job to make the site and as well manage it. It's not an official 'job' but meh, it's a start. Oh and they are willing to pay me any amount I want. Ain't that sweet? ^^ I'll probably use part of the money to buy me a new laptop.

_{I'm serioulsy gettin sick of this whole load shedding mess in Pakistan. The powers keep going on and off and on and off... mostly after every 2 hours. I'm glad I use a laptop, though any work im doin on the internet is always interrupted.

Like right now, as I was writin this the power went off. Goddammit...I hafta wait a whole 30 mins...thats how long the power goes out. 20 to 30 mins.

What's worse is that it's blazing hot in Lahore, the temperature has been rising in Pakistan. It's gone up to 48 degrees. I hear in Larkana it went up to 51. Some people died I hear..Global warming is upon us..and I blame my brother...}

School, exams, all finally over and done with! Complete and utter freedom!

Now then, first order of business...change my damn Journal's CSS >.> lol.

Oh finaly got the new host for the Apokolips Now site. Much love to Death Grin of Defied Dreams. Haven't got the site up yet but will get around to doing that soon.

Updated my gallery with some new art. Not so long, I have fallen in love with Cowboy Bebop.

my O level have begun, they actually started Monday. just got through 5 exams. Bio paper 1 n 2, Maths paper 1 n 2 and English. English was like an easy A. Maths and Bio...just hopin for the best.

Got a couple of more comin up, so im not gonna be on much until my exams are over. gots lots of studyin to do. last exam is on the 31st. When they're finally over and done with, im free as a bird! I'll finally be able to put all my plans and projects into action. and the Apokolips Now project will as well resume. still lookin for a new host though. anyone recomend one for me?

oh and i aint doin a TBRS calendar for May. gotta focus on my exams atm. will make up for it.

Have been really busy studyin my ass off for the GCSE exams. I'll be glad when they're finally over and done with. My first exam is starting May 7th, Biology paper 1 in the morning and Math paper 1 in the afternoon. God, I'm gonna die...Oh and btw, something went bonkers with my sites host so its gonna be down for a while. Until I can get the matter fixed, if anyone wants to stay updated about the Apokolips Now project than just check on her on my dev account or head on over to TBRS.

Yeah I guess some of you noticed that I've been missing for several days. Well sorry for not letting y'all now, I had to go out of town to attend my cousins wedding and since we were in a rush I didn't get a chance to let anyone know. Would've got home sooner but plans kept changing. Anyhoo, wedding went sweet. We went by road so I got some pics that I'll be puttin up soon. Now that I'm home again...its back to work!

Oh and being away for almost a whole week with no internet my inbox and DA messages are packed. So I hafta catch up with those. Got over a 150 devs and over 100 messages. It's gonna be one hectic day...

_Alrighty,version 2 of the Apokolips Now site is up!

Weehee! Not much content yet, but the following week, lots of new stuff will be addded, along with some posters and more concept art. Also got started on the music. We've got sweet stuff coming along. I'm settin up a forum for it soon as well.

So anyhoo, since we haven't got the proper advertising material set up yet, if I got any supporters out theres for this project it'd mean a lot if y'all could help spread the word, maybe even leave a link your journal or something like that. <3 y'all!

_{My appreciation going out to all my friends who helped and supported me with the recent tragedy that had happen. Luv ya all <3

During that time, I didn't get to comment on any deviations, journals or anything like that, so I'll try and make up for all that.

I haven't posted anything in quite a while. Been busy with school and all. I'll have several stuff up though once my winter vacations start, which is coming up Friday.

Oh and I believe the Apokolips Now project is not catchin any eyes at the moment cuz it hasn't even been properly advertised. That will be taken care of soon though, got lots of new stuff comin to the site.

Well exams are finally over, I'm just chilling for the time being. Haven't got anything planned yet for my summer vacations, just going to be hanging with my friends....

By next week I'll start workin on renovating my website again.
