Hey everyone!

Well, I'm afraid after almost 4 years running without a hitch, that my MacBook as come down with a virus. The disc refuses to repair and my computer simply won't boot even with the install disc. This unfortunately looks like I'll need to erase and re-install my hard drive. Luckily, about 90% of my files have been backed up on an external hard drive and my music is all on my ipod so not much will be lost aside for some recent art and raw Photoshop files.

I have never obtained a legal copy of Photoshop or the Adobe Creative Suite. That being said it might take me a little longer to get a hold of these programs and commissions might be delayed for a week or more. I'd like my commissioners to hang tight with me and I'm sure this mess will get resolved as soon as possible. Thank you~!

I'm finished, if not utterly and completely TIRED of it being winter. I've always considered myself a cold blooded person, considering how well I thrive in the heat. Not too much heat, but warm enough that I can go to the beach and have bonfires at night.

In anycase, schools started back up again, which is great because I won't be festering at home for most of the day. I've also been on an on again-off again artist block that has been driving me absolutely insane. I'm slowly getting through it. I draw the best when I'm not supposed to, so I hope that with school starting I can doodle up some stuff while one of my teachers lectures. It's a horrible habit, but it works. Trust me.

ALSO Note to self: Buy The Prestige next Tuesday. Forget and DIE.

And Happy Valentines Day, for those lucky enough to have snagged a boo. Yeah. I called your significant other a "boo." I guess I rule.

In any case, I'm working on another Clerks 2 piece, and it's really one of my favorites out of the few I've done so far. It features everyone from the second movie [Dante, Randal, Elias, Becky, Jay, and Silent Bob] and it's going to take me a while to finish it XD.

I was wondering, does anyone know how to contact Kevin Smith, like through emails and shit. I missed Comic Con this year so I missed him! But I'm sure he'd love to see some fanart. Hey, guys! I took a little hint from ~zambi and made myself a little FAQS list for those curious about me and my work!

Do you take requests? If you're a close friend, I'd be ready and willing, but other than that, I will never take requests. Sorry!

Do you do trades? I do take trades when I feel my schedule is open for them.

Do you do commisions? At designated times, I do take commisions! Check back here on my journal for updates and openings.

What tools do you use? I'm quite fond of markers and Photoshop! I post every supply used in a peice on it's info, for those curious about a specific picture.

Why do you have "comments disabled" and "critique discouraged" on your comments? Everyone works and improves at there own pace. To me, deviantart is place for fun, so I dont come here looking for critique on my work, I come here for showing my art to the masses and finding people with similar interests. Does that mean I'm completely against critique? Certainly not! I'm a big fan of professional opinion on my work to help it improve, but the point is that I'm not looking for that here. If I want critique on my work, I know the places where I can get it. When putting such settings on my comments, I'm telling the commenter that I like my peice the way it is and don't plan on going back to improve it or make changes. I appreciate the viewer in wanting me to improve, because god knows, my work could use A LOT of improvement, but as of now, I'm just looking for some friendly comments
I'd appreciate it if you guys would respect my wishes when it comes to these settings, if things get too out of hand, I wont hesitate in disabling comments, because its about the ART and NOT the silly internet drama.

Why don't you critique art/my art? I really don't think it's my place to critique other peoples art work. And on the internet, comments may come out as rude and hostile [another partial reason why I disable critiquing on MY work] so I'd rather not put an artist through that kind of stress. I also need a lot of improvement on my work too! So it's not really my place to go giving a critique.

What's with the Mary Sues? Such a harsh term. Really. Even though they technically ARE, I really have never considered my characters a Mary Sue more than an original character. To me, my original characters are a way for me to have fun and express myself in the fandom. If you have a problem with that, thats really fine, you can have your opinions and I can have mine, but I would appreciate it if there were no rude comments pertaining to this, because the peice is there to show off my ART and not my CHARACTER.

What are your fandoms? A lot, really. My favorite fandom is Harry Potter, by far, and is the one fandom I feel most comfortable dwelling in. I'm also a big X-Men fan. But really, whatever strikes me as awesome I will most likely start fandoming.

What's your favorite band? Phantom Planet. I have no hesitation in saying that. I've been a fan for over 5 years [going strong!] and they've been such a big part of my life! They're also really nice guys, the guitarist put one of my pictures up on there myspace [seen from a screenshot here] and they're really into there fans. And there music is kick ass! SRSLY!

GORILLAZ! Yes. Gorillaz. I am still very much of a fan of the Gorillaz music, but I have no urge or want to start drawing them again. Sorry to those watchers hoping for more Gorillaz work, but I dont see myself doing any more in the near future.

Im tired of DevArt. No one seems to care about my pieces. Why? Did I do something? Did I not comment or kiss up to you enough that you need to ignore everything I do?

To all my friends who do care about my art and post telling me how much you like my artwork, then god bless you. To those who could care less, you can just piss off.

Why spend so much time uploading my art on here only to have it ignored? Im not all too sure. Im just messed in the head I guess.

New artists have begun to inspire me to break away from anime and create something new. Sadly enough, I love it when people dont say "That looks like one of those Japanese cartoons" Sure, I love it, but my style is changing every second and personally, I dont think my art IS anime. Partially anime inspired, sure, but all anime, no. [no offense to anyone, im sure]
