Thought I'd dig myself back into a groove to post my random scribblings again. Pencil in hand, lead on the paper, scratching out each stroke to only erase them moments later. Ah, no greater feeling than to have none of your ideas flow onto paper.

Screw it, it don't matter, scan the mess anyway! Plug it in, watch the scanner load up... and not work. Apparently my piece of junk scanner can't be detected by Vista. Its too old. Hah. So much for the triumphant return. When I scrounge up enough dough to get a new scanner, maybe I'll start posting again. Though when I do I'll have to get motivated to draw also... que sera sera, when I was just a little girl and all that jazz.

Keep rockin' the sunglasses at night folks

Fábrica de Heróis - [link]

Its a character creator, similar to HeroMachine but better, IMO anyway. I stumbled across it while perusing through some threads on a forum I frequent. The art style is similar to Bruce Timm's DCAU cartoons (Batman, Superman, Justice League Unlimited) so that's always a thumbs up. Its in Portuguese so its a little difficult to understand when you first fool around with it but it shouldn't take too long to get a handle on it. Just need the patience for a little trial & error, or use BabelFish, whichever is more convenient for you

There's no way to save your characters, at least none that I could find within the creator, so you'd have to take a screenshot of it and crop out the area where the character's in with Photoshop or whatever program you have. Other than that though I found it to be pretty fun and addictive. I've probably made about a bit over 60 characters so far... with no signs of stopping

Decided to cut a swath through all my old journal entries because from what I remember they were all pretty damn nonsensical.

So anyway, for anyone who's been paying attention to this barren plot of dA I've been pretty active for the past couple of months. We can all be thankful, or angry depending on if you've hated what I've been posting, to Microsoft for making the XBOX 360 the way it is. I can't really complain though, I've had it for a bit over two years now and I've heard horror stories of other people's 360s crapping out on them even before the one year mark. Yeesh! So yeah, with the 360 out of the away and not distracting me anymore (or any game for that matter) I've had a lot more time to spend on an inexpensive love of mine. I haven't been too kind to it in the past though, neglecting it for months on end but not anymore!

At least until I get my 360 replaced or fixed

Since I have been showing more signs of regularity on this site, I'm hoping there'll also be some normalcy when it comes to these entries rather than letting it go untouched for years at a time. Though don't quote me on that. For all I know, I'll end up forgetting about this journal again until 2010, hehe.

What I wanted to really get at though is I'm pretty much tapped on the inspiration front, hehe. Until pblimp360 starts up the Extreme Makeover: Superhero Edition thread up again at GameFAQs I really don't have an idea of what to draw next. So I'm giving out a proposition to anyone reading this: let me know what you want to see. Give me characters to draw, established licensed characters from cartoons, comics, books, movies, whatever or your own OCs if you want to see them drawn by me. This isn't an announcement that I'm opening up commissions 'cuz personally, I don't think my artwork is worth any amount of money and I'm sure quite a few people will agree, hehe, so its all fair game. I can't promise I'll get to all the requests (though I'm not expecting to get much if any response at all) but hey, its free, right? Just make sure to provide some reference images or descriptions.

I just want something to draw, help a brother out Hehe.

Lastly, thanks to all the folks who have been keeping up with my erratic postings. I get uncomfortable responding to comments, I don't do well with compliments (kinda shows what sorta person I am, eh? Hehe), so many of them end up getting ignored but they're really not. I read each one I do get and am appreciative for the little praise and critiques I'm given. I'm trying to make a conscious effort to acknowledge you all but its a process, hehe. For me anyway so thanks again
