In other news...the stupid college art project that I've had to work on for the last month or so is OVER!! YES. I had 4 days to create 3 A2 pictures, and I did it! I did it in THREE days! I rule.

The downside is, the pictures totally suck...but who cares!! I did it! Free time ahoy!

I'll be driving myself to college for the first time ever tomorrow. Eekz0r~! =O

We went for a drive today.

I was driving all by myself! For the first time ever!

I'm so proud of me~!! XDD

I went to Toys 'R' Us and back I bought myself a My Little Pony to celebrate X3 She's bright orange with bright red hair. DAYGLO TO THE MAX! According to the box her name is SEASCAPE. That's LAME.


Uni is going boringly and I have been drawing many LazyTown doodles!

We got LazyTown today - and Ziggy, Pixel, Trixie and Stingy have all been DUBBED with BRITISH ACCENTS. OH MY GOD they sound so terrible. They even re-dubbed the songs!

It's totally ruined it.

And it's so weird...only the puppet kids have been dubbed - everyone else has their original voices.

It sucks, dudes! All the boys sound the same, and Trixie just sounds so...generic British. There's NO personality in any of their voices.

THANK GOD they didn't dub Sportacus and Robbie. I would have died.

So...yeah. I'm happy I can watch it now, but I absolutely hate how they have dubbed it. I don't even know why they did.

Poor Stingy and Trixie. They deserve better voices than that.

Sportacus sounds adorable, though! I LOVE his accent and how he pronounces "Sportacus" XD

YEAH!! I played Battleship, Cluedo and Twister with Death and WON, so therefore my journal came back to life!

Really really. I've been totally cheating on this journal with my other one. GASP!

So I asked for any offers for Mp3 trades in my last entry, but what I'm going to do next is post a SPECIFIC list of Mp3s that I want. I'm looking for a select few songs that are like GOLD DUST. Not the WWF wrestler, but actual dust made from gold.

I have a problem. Okay technically, I have a LOT of problems (HAAAA), but I have mp3's that I need! NEED!

See, before you all suggest that I download Limewire etc etc etc, NONE of those download program thingies work on my computers. Don't ask why!

So I need someone either willing to send me some mp3s out of the awesome goodness of their hearts, or to do an Mp3 trade with me!!

I'm looking for songs from the Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey soundtrack (namely BATTLE STATIONS by WINGER) and The Lost Boys soundtrack. I know I have other songs that I want as well, but the names escape me at this precise moment in time!

If anyone thinks they can help me, please let me know! I will then write a list of my song collection and send it to you, then we can TRADE! Just like digital dance-worthy trading cards! Or something like that.

I had a great time in Florida. I love Universal Studios...a little...TOO MUCH some might say. I would go into great geekish length discussing rides and shows and resturants, but I know most people either won't have a clue what I'm on about, or just won't care. So I'll spare you the verbal equivalent of a photo slideshow, and let's face it, NO-ONE likes to watch other people's photo slideshows. Unless they happen to be showing a slideshow of puppies/kittens/bunnies/Cillian Murphy.

Anyways, the Lego Harry Potter crew came with me, as usual, so expect some new photos and two 16-second long movies to appear some time in the near future. Yay!

Saw some films out there that were GOOD. These were Fantastic Four and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Also saw Madagascar on the plane, which I was pleasantly surprised with! It was most amusing.

I saw some other films as well, but they must have been quite average as I can't remember them!

Oh yeah! I FINALLY saw the first Lord of the Rings movie! I won't say my opinions on it for fear of being pelted by rotten fruit and vegetables by the rabid fans *cougboringboringboringcough* Ah, who am I kidding? I can't resist making ONE little comment...

Frodo has a grand total of TWO facial expressions. Mild Shock and On The Verge Of Tears. You know it's true. Don't deny it.

There. Got a little dig out of my system.

I got me some new DS games - Another Code, which is rather good, and Nintendogs which is cute beyond all reason. I have a beagle named Buddy and he struts around wearing a Luigi hat like he's The King. Which he is.

It might come as absolutely no shock to you to learn that my liking of Bill and Ted has grown to dangerously obsessive proportions. Expect an onslaught of fan art VERY soon. I also was most convinced that I would rather marry Ted, but now I am not so sure. I would quite happily marry Bill, now. I love them EQUALLY. Besides, Alex Winter is hilarious. I really need to see The Lost Boys and Freaked. Oh yes.

I'll spare you the gory details of how much my fandom for them has grown. It's taking an insane amount of self restraint not to gush endlessly about Bill and Ted, or indeed Alex and Keanu.

But hey, everyone has a fandom, right?

So...I think that's all I have to say for now...and if anyone has seen The Lost Boys - do you think that a very squeamish wussbag like me could handle watching it?

Hopefully my artist's block will have gone away by the time I come back! And on my return expect many, MANY fun drawings, and no doubt a couple of pictures of a teenage KidVid showing a gratuatous amount of bare chest. Because we all love that!

The lego crew are coming with me too, so expect some awesome photos of them! And maybe if you guys behave yourselves while I'm gone, I might just FILM them at Disneyland. On a ride.

I bought a DVD on Tuesday. It has episodes of classic girl's cartoons from the 80's. It is a little bit awesome! Jem and the Holograms =

Also, before I go, any Super Mario fans HAVE to download Ignorance is Bliss by Jellyfish. It's a song in which Bowser sings to Peach, and it is beyond awesome into thee realms of HUZZAH!

Good evening happy campers! I just thought I'd make a random journal entry about nothing in particular! You get a complimentary frozen yoghurt with every tenth flogging!

I went to Spain at the weekend XD And you guys didn't know! You guys were like "Ooh, Beckna's sitting comfortably at home in England watching Teen Titans!" Well HA! I wasn't. Sorry for decieving you all.

Anyways, I've been practising realism again. Just drawing random famous peeps and stuff. Maybe I'll post some and see if anyone can tell who they are meant to be. I also drew a space monkey named Zippo. Ah, Zippo. Some people will get the joke, some will not!

Apologies to people who are waiting for pictures from me. I'm a bit de-motivated and artist-blocky at the moment, which is why I am drawing other random things instead. I'll get it all done by the end of the week.

I'm going to Florida next week. For THREE WEEKS and TWO DAYS. You can't see me right now, but I assure you I'm throwing a wild and crazy party about it!!!!

You know who's cool? KidVid is cool. I wish I was as cool as him.

So I have finished Harry Potter and the HBP. OMG. I won't spoil the plot (even though everyone else is doing that left, right and centre), but that ending was so sad! T_T I enjoyed it, though. I liked it better than the depress-fest that was Book 5. But Book 3 will always be my fave. Tonks turned out a bit rubbish, didn't she? Stupid name anyways.

I have REALLY got to sort out my website. It's a big unfunny mess. Expect more Lego fun and 80's-related stuff, and less horrendous stereotypes and pages where I GO MENTAL IN CAPSLOCK.

It's REVIEW TIME!

First up - War of the Worlds. I think Volken managed to sum this film up pretty well, "Special effects show reel". Couldn't agree more. I think this film covered just about every special effect possible, without actually giving us a plot. This is the film in a nutshell: Some aliens arived, they trashed earth, then they died. THE END!

For me, the best part of this film was the first half hour. This is because it starts out so well - there's all this earthquakey stuff, then this big tripd bursts out the ground, and you are blissfully unware of the plotless garbage that is to follow. Speaking of the beginning, did anyone else notice the HUGE mistake they made? If everything electric stopped working...why did the video camera work? They even gave the video camera it's own SCENE - where guess what? IT TAPES STUFF! It must be magical!

The heat beam was kind of lame. It just VAPOURISED people. It wasn't SCARY. It wasn't even gross! I was expecting some BURNING.

The whole film spent so much time building up tension, and didn't actually deliver any real surprises or shocks. And it was so repetitive: they scream and run and hide, then they get attacked. Lather, rinse repeat. Very predictable.

The son was stupid. AND invincible, apparently. "I HAVE to go!"....But why? WHY? You crazy boy with nice hair!

The aliens were just CUTE. Really cute. I felt so bad for them! Tim Robbins was in the film too, being philtrum-tastic, as usual.

The red weed was kind of cool, and I loved it when the guy got his blood sucked out and sprayed. I actually found myself with a big stupid smile every time I knew someone was going to die. Funny stuff. I'm not sure if the film was MEANT to be funny, but I was laughing a whole lot!

And how QUICK was that ending? It was so anti-climatic.

I think I'm going to leave my review here, because I could go on for years. But just remember boys and girls: if you do find the earth being attacked by aliens from Mars, you'll be okay as long as you have the World's Smallest Gun and Axe XD

Now, for Batman Begins. I'll keep this one short It was good! I enjoyed it a lot. It was cool to see Batman in his early days. For me the best parts were when he finally got his suit and started kicking ass and taking names, when the Scarecrow did his freaky mind-gas thing, and Alfred XD

However I really hate the old-style Batmobile XP It's clunky and lame. And there wasn't nearly enough Scarecrow action! And what was with him screaming like a girl and riding off?! The token female was dumb, too. I hate token females.

I really wanted to see a Batman V Scarecrow showdown. that woulda been awesome.

Batman films are always cool, though. That's because Batman is THE KING. I thought the joker card at the end was a nice touch, and so was the omionous prediction of the Arkham Asylum residents becoming furture bad guys.

To summarise this journal entry - Watch Batman Begins! Watch War of the Worlds if you enjoyed Spirit: Stallion of the Cimmaron (they have the same repetitive style). Or better yet, read the WOTW book. I'm going to. I'm sure the book is brilliant. I guess the movie was just one of those bad book-conversions. Shame. Maybe it would've been better if I'd read the book first! I am disappointed in you, Speilberg!

LOL - I'm done now. Really ;D

I'm typing this on my brand new laptop. It's shiny and new and uncorrupted. LOVE. IT.
