So my cycle of writing goes like this:

First I get an idea, an inspiration, something I want to do. I get all excited.
Then I try and figure out what characters to use.
Then I realize, no one's going to read it unless I make it a fanfiction. I try to stuff some KH characters into the situation, and lose all inspiration.
So then I just go with my OCs, or make some new ones up. But having realized that no one but my friends will care about my OCs, I get frustrated and give up.

Now, every time I complain about this, someone tells me "Just write for yourself!" and see... That may work for other people, but. I really don't /need/ to write for myself. I have the whole story in my head, already. I know all the details. The only reason to write it out is to tell other people about it. So if no one's going to bother reading it, I say, why bother?

So, yeah. Pisses me off when I get all this inspiration and no outlet. Even worse when I'm in a drawing slump, like right now.

I drooled on it. I had the cap of a marker in my mouth, and I drooled on my drawing. Big splat of spit right in the middle. All the marker ran everywhere, and it ruined the whole drawing.

Today I booted up my Pokemon Sapphire for the first time in months and months, only to be greeted by a character named "Boner." Quickly deducing that the current file had been created by my younger brother, I decided to check out his file before deleting it and starting my own.

His box was empty, and in his party was a level 7 Torchic named "Hooker." ...I'm a little puzzled on how he managed to get five gym badges with a level 7 Torchic.

And if he was just using the file to get a few exclusive Pokemon... Why didn't he take the Torchic? O3o

Four girls and four boys on this list, but I tend to have way more male characters.

Probably. And he's a doctor, so he could heal my wounds! Sweet.

I'll probably never completely write out all or any of their stories. I can write, but I'm terrible at finishing things.

Psyche played "Adoptive Older Sister," Faever's responsible enough but doesn't really want kids, Lucy's been a mom but she sucks at it, Idres around the same deal as Faever, but he likes playing the mentor role.

9) Which of your OCs do you think will most likely be put in jail?
Last is a serial killer. Stripes is a druggy. Idres has been in jail several times, even in his new timeline. Vielan might just because he DK the rules especially. Heather is a naughty girl.
So basically, most of them could go to jail if they got caught.

Space Ninja. Didn't even check who it was.

STABBITY? IDK. None of my characters have catch phrases because they're semi-realistic people.
Barney Stinson rocks the catch phrase six ways to Sunday, though.

Faever and Vielan used to. Last and Idres did for a while.

YES ACTUALLY. FaeVie is super rad. Pretty sure that's the only one though.

She'd probably make a huge fool of me, and I'd probably... Make a huge fool of her, so we'd probably be pissed at eachother, but then we'd lol.

Panic about keeping her job.

I'm not sure why Faever would ever act like this, but it's hilarious!

They're not really paying attention much. I'm just like "Ohay this question is for you" and they're like "Me w/e dude."

She's not especially fond of nature, so probably the Beach.

So every time someone brings up Pokemon on an online conversation, anywhere I always a comment (or multiple comments) along the lines of this:

"I only played Gen I, only know the names of Gen I, only like Gen I, only blah blah elitist."

Very quickly, I would just like to inform you of how ridiculous you sound. Imagine if someone came up to you and said this:
"Yeah, well. I only read the first Harry Potter."
"I only watched the first Lord of the Rings."
etc.

You can watch/read/play/listen to/etc the first of anything, and stop after that. That's your choice. But DEAR. GOD. Don't be so condescending on the people who moved BEYOND the first one. So they wanted to experience MORE than just the FIRST part of something.
Doesn't that make them... Better fans than you?

For you series watchers, what would you do if someone came up to you and told you THEY only watched the FIRST season of Dexter/House/Doctor Who/Whatever-else-is-popular-right-now-I-don't-really-know. You would laugh in their face.

So it all comes down to this: YOU ARE NOT A BETTER PERSON FOR STOPPING AFTER ONE.

I say, enjoy fandom like you enjoy candy. You don't eat one piece of candy and never look back. If it is delicious, EAT IT ALL.

So you just spent $100-$200 on a hand-made, custom fit Org coat, and at least $30 for a wig. Your face matches the character, and you can even pull off their voice to some extent. You look fantastic, save ONE. FATAL. FLAW.

Don't ruin your cosplay by not binding your chest! You can buy a comfortable chest binder for like, $40. If you crossplay a lot, like a lot of these girls I see, it'll be totally worth it.
