Bourbon Crow played Monday, and it was really a great show. Got a few awesome pics of Wed, and got to talk to him for a few as well they were doing shots on stage during the show,as they sat in their dining room style chairs. It wa pretty funny dialogue too. If you get the chance to see 'em, I suggest you git 'er dun!

i love my new tattoo. i needed it, bad. i hadn't gotten new ink for over a year, and thanks to my lovely lady who got me a gift certificate for xmas, i now have this great work.

life is good. wish i were rich, but if that's my biggest complaint then i'm doing damn good.

i was given an awesome piece of original art today at work by my buddy michael, from the artist Jenny Holzer...its a small piece of rectangular wood, printed on one side like a postcard with the stamp square, and on the flip side it says 'murder has its sexual side'. she had personally sent it to him, but he seemed to think of me upon receipt of it. here is a link to the actual piece.

so you can see how great the artist did. i'm very happy with it, and getting new tatts is one thing that always lubes my creativity gear...hopefully i'll do some creating. it was good to do that acrylic cheshire cat, anything to just keep me painting etc. i still have these poor unfinished komodo dragons, that beg me daily to fix them and hang 'em up...and, i have a nice big naked canvas that i still haven't decided what to do with,
i'd really like to do a male groinal region, complete with dripping erection, but i probably won't.
my kids would see it and be scarred for life.
or at least til puberty.

so yes, i've known of DA since what, 03? is that right trey? yeah...back then my machine/connection wasn't able to handle loading the pages, nor did i have any art on the comp worth displaying. and i guess i kind of forgot about this great place, whilst spending years at sites like literotica. making a page here and submitting art is like a new virtual chapter for me; i can't say my literotica days are over-i'm pretty sure they're not. but i get a feeling that hanging out here, checking out other's works will be just what i need to make myself make stuff.
