It recently hit home that I'm getting Married in about eight months. O_o And while am by no means unprepared, I still find myself freaking out over the approaching date. What I'd really like is to sell more of my prints and maybe take a census about the possibility of doing other merchandise and how many people would be interested. (I am still doing FaneXpo in Toronto this year) That and get an online store going as well.

FaneXpo was a bit of a roller coaster this year. Over all a lot of fun, I got to chat up a lot of interesting people, including Jennie Breeden (without realizing it till later) Lar Desouza and Ryan Sohmer. I didn’t quite break even this year but considering the fact that I was trying to cover the expenses of an entire table and at the far end of AA where everyone had a rougher time of it, I didn’t do too badly at all.

Sean and I also came to the conclusion that I need to start prepping a lot more Blub stuff to put online. (Hence the current in progress piece) It'll get me used to drawing a lot more quickly and give me some much needed practice before I get in over my head with the Elsewhere project.

For anyone in canada who uses Tria Markers, go hunt down a Loomis and Tools right now. They are clearing out their Pantone Tria’s to make room for the new Letraset Trias. The pantones are going for a fantastic bargan of $3 per marker. (those bad boys usually go for $7)
I got really lucky about finding out about this. I needed to do a marker run in any case today and then found out about this. I love it when the art supply gods smile on me like that.

The facelift is compleate. After bloody close to a year I have revamped and updated my website.
I also got conformation on my table for CN. This is something like the third time that I've said this but I feel like crowing it from the rooftops after all the frustration I've had with cons lately.
So if you are going to CN don't forget to visit artist ally and keep an eye open for me.

Maybe this is the universe giving me the hint that I need to haul @$$, revamp my sight and get a print page up and running so that I can start taking orders year round rather then hinging my hopes on a few weekends a year. >_<

Okay here's the basic rundown
I'll be moving in with my boyfirend Sean in two days ^^ wich I'm very exsited about. I've been packing like a maniac for the last couple of weeks. Between the two of us weve got almost every thing we'll need to, exespt for one very important thing. Living room furnature. Niether of us have any.
So what I'd been hopeing to do was put any profit I made at CN anime towards a futon frame or a couch.
However, at this point My friend Lex and I are on the waiting list to find out if we even get a table this year. >_< Apparently three months isn't a long enough reservation time. So keep your fingers crossed for me and hopefully well get the table sorted out soon.
