But it's not all fun.
I got me some brass wire two days ago, because I wanted to do something with warm colors and my silver wire would have just looked wrong. But it officially hates me. First, when I took it out of the package it sprang apart and formed a HUGE pile of messy loops. It took me about 20 minutes to get back into the package in a bearable way. Then I tried to work with it but it was very stubborn. When you use silver wire you bend it once and it stays like that until you bend it again. Brass wire has a will of its own! When I bent it, it just sprang back again and again, once even poking my hand! D8 I had to use a lot of force and quick movements to get it in place somehow.
It was really tough, but I still like it, because it's so beautiful. I just have to get used to it. ^^'

EDIT: Thanks to SweetButEvil I got the idea of doing the "100 challenge" by making polyclay stuff. XD I dunno if that's such a good idea...

I just felt like it and I was kind of embarrassed, when I noticed I didn't upload stuff there for 3 years!!!
Well, while I did upload a little sth. I stumbled across aa Akuroku coloration contest - and since I never colored stuff of someone else before, I just had a glimpse...
That's when it hit me!
~SMACK!~
I got overwhelmed by a sudden and still lasting inspiration flash! I did not only color like 5+ different versions of the beautiful picture made by , when we're only allowed to send in three entries, but decided to make a stained glass window as a background for one of the versions.
That decision mounted in a constant >7h of drawing. In the end I could hardly move my fingers out of their tablet-pen-gripping position... But when I looked at the final window, I just thought: it was sooo worth it!
I am very content with and proud of that work. I did not feel that happy for some art of mine for a veeery long period of time.
And the best thing is - I'm still inspired as hell! XD

So YAY! for a constant and overwhelming inspiration flash, that hopefully will last longer than the 3 days already passed by!

Anyways I was in quite a good drawing mood, so I joined a contest on wajas where we have to draw that WoW Chara of the host. And I LOVE how my (first) entry turned out. I made a tryptichon (spelling?) out of the sketch, the basic coloring job and the finished pic. ^^ Hopefully someone will comment it.

Anyways I'm doing quite fine. Started sewing plushies for my family and friends, which is quite fun. I'll post a picture of one of the plushs once my sis managed to come over with her digi-cam.
Besides all this and work and live itself, I hapen to enjoy Youtube once again! My favorite submitter managed to win a Youtube award! Yes! Good job Neil Ceiciriega (famous inventor of the Potter Puppet Pals)! WOOT!

Since 8 weeks I had not one free weekend for there were always performances to do (I am a member in a "Fanfarenzug"-It's kind of a Marching Band).

I'll try to get some spare time during this week (although that is quite unlikely) so I can draw something.
By now those early (alarm clock nearly always rings at 5.20 am!!!! On Saturdays AND Sundays!!! X( ), completely packed weekends are getting to me. I'm really tired by now... -_-zzzzz

3. They are drawn with a new program, that came along with
my tablet. It can really be fun while painting but it lacks in
the effects part (like filter, burning, darkening,etc.)

Anyways I will do "something" during weekend. and hopefully will put up some better stuff next week...
