I've been busy with two new baby kittens who think their every whim should supersede any thing I want to do...but that's why we love them.

It's warm now, sometimes uncomfortably hot. My travels have been restricted for some months because of foot surgery, but I'll be back on the road soon...

Wow, it's been a long time since I updated my journal. I've been busy with work, and all my free time is spent wandering Middle-Earth with my hunter, defending the Bree-land.

Open beta will start in about two weeks or so, and we all get a chance to start over. I'm having more fun with this MMO than any other I ever played, I think.

I need to spend more time here, checking out my dear Deviants.

I've been wandering Middle Earth for a long time now...my hunter roams the woods, hunting goblins and those who would terrorize the townspeople. In case you're wondering, it's the Lord of the Rings MMO. The NDA has been lifted, and we can discuss the beta now. I seem to be able to immerse myself more into this game than any other. It feels like Middle Earth.

If anyone likes to test things, there's an open Stress Beta from Friday until Monday this weekend. You are able to get a key from Gamespot to play for those three days. I see great potential for this MMO. The lore is familiar, of course, to those of us who know and love the books and Tolkien's writings. The graphics are great, even with the beta debugging software running.

Open beta starts around the end of March, with game going gold for launch on 24 April. If anyone hops on this weekend, there will be many there, so it will be laggy...hope to see some of you there.

Now that the NDA for the Lord of the Rings MMO beta has been lifted, I can say it's delightful. I've enjoyed it, to the point that I may give up my beloved EQ I and II and Vanguard and devote my game time to LoTR. The graphics are excellent, and the story line is, of course, marvelous.

Well, six weird things about me...

I have far too many stuffed animals...
I really like caviar...
I once bought a CD that a friend recommended that is so bad it will forever define weird...
I spend 250+ nights a year in hotels...
I have too many computers...
and even weirder, I use them all...

And now on with my journal for today, while I decide whom I will tag...

It's been nasty, windy icy weather where I am tonight, which leaves me very grumpy...

My internet connection has been out 4 times in the last two days...

I think I should go to bed...it's safer... >.<

It's back to work today, after a rather nice weekend. My best friend in all the world agreed to start playing Everquest II, and we had an 'ubah' time.

It's sooooo foggy here this morning...it will be near 70 degrees F today...a lovely day for January. But...in two days, it will be very cold again >.< and will be typical winter weather.

However, spring will soon be here...

I have a HUGE stack of paperwork sitting here, staring at me, daring me to pick up the first piece. When I do, I will be lost for hours.

Oh...how boring this journal piece is...I must immediately stop, before you all fall asleep at your computer...

I've been madly running from city to city over the last few days...next week, I will be in one city all week, so I may get some things done in the evenings. I've decided that my cape for Winter-een-mas must have bunches of red in it this year (yes, it's my fav color). I can't decide, though, whether my crown should be gold or silver...hmmm, what do you think? I have a lovely new sceptre, to honor or /bonk my favorite people. And this year...the official drink (at least here) is champagne and chocolate truffles...yummy. Be good, all, or if you can't be good, be happy...
