havent really had much time to draw, but lately, havent really felt like i wanted to. except for last night

i noticed that everything i drew was better than what i usually draw by over 9000 (yup, i went there)wierd since ive taken such a long break really. all ive been doing are sketches on the big yellow notepads i use for work

im also looking to do some collabs, something pretty simple, just so i can get out of this rut. ill do a sketch or something and then whoever else can go crazy with it lol. (i dont have an art program on my comp atm so whatever i do has to be traditional) so send me a note if your interested. (if i decline, im REALLY sorry, but times rare for me. so ill probably pick ones i can sketch out pretty quick. and theyll all be cartoony and probably God awful cute

last thing tho,
anyone know someone doing reeeeeally cheap commissions?
its pretty simple really, all i need is someone to color some lineart i drew (i fail HARD at coloring) so maybe a collab (so its free ) but anyhoo, im kinda strapped for cash but i really liked how this came out and might want to do other things with the pic, like print it big and put in my room or maybe print it on something people may actually see(who knows?) but i want it to look REALLY nice. (in other words, not mine XD)

its cartoonish, like all my art and im not sure whether or not if i want that feel for it, want it fairly bright. me and whoever i pick can talk turkey after everythings all set.

looks like i finally hit my 5000th pageview, and it only took 6 months


and since my birthday is coming up, ive been looking into tablets, and i wanted ANY AND ALL input you guys would have on them. im a complete noob to them so anything will help

went and saw twlight, twas...ok....is the best word for it i think. the effects were crappy, edward was a sissy, and jasper looked like he was ono crack. THE WHOLE TIME.
lol, everytime i saw him i laughed and my friends got pissed at me

but the thing that really pissed me off was the part where edwards play bella's lullaby. it took a whole 15 seconds. that is a HUGE emotional part and its like they looked at it....and said fuck it, we dont need no EMOTIONAL-NESS in dis here movie. i mmean c'mon, it has VAMPIRES.

Hardened police officers have been shocked by the horrifying torture, mutilation and brutal slaying of a seven-month-old fox terrier pup "Peanut" at Moranbah.

Jonathon (Jon) Connor Blake, 20, and Trent William Cunniffe 24, (the accused) did not apply for bail.

Police have obtained video footage from a mobile phone that shows graphic images of the puppy yelping and howling in terrible pain as it is hacked to pieces.

Animal rights experts have described the case as one of the worst and most horrific in Australian history. Police allege that a pair of garden shears and a pocket knife were used to torture and kill the little puppy.

Moranbah police said the dog was a family pet and the owners were too distressed and upset to talk to anyone about it.

The pup's nose was cut off, its front right leg and rear left leg were cut off and it was decapitated. His stomach was cut open from neck to tail.

Police will say the dog was stolen from a residence in Railway Parade in Moranbah and was taken to a lookout in the town. Congealed blood and dog hairs were found on picnic tables at the lookout.

A three-part video series on a mobile phone shows the dog being tortured. The final stages of the video show the dog's mutilated body parts. The dog's body was found about 3.50am on Monday near the town's campdraft ground. It was dumped beside a road.

Police were attending a car accident when they discovered the dog's body. After seizing the mobile phone, police recovered a set of garden shears which had dog hair and blood on them. Police also took possession of the clothes worn by two men in the car, for scientific testing.

"Senior police officers were visibly shaken after viewing the footage. Police and the RSPCA say that if the allegations are true this could well be the worst case of animal cruelty ever brought before the courts in Australia," RSPCA's Queensland Chief Inspector Michael Pecic said.

"This is very, very disturbing," Mr Pecic said.
"For legal reasons this is really all I can say at the moment. But when you talk to senior police officers who have seen a lot of carnage in their time and they say it shocked even them, then you begin to get the picture."
Footage from the attack has been suppressed by police until the outcome of the court case.

The maximum penalty under the Animal Care and Protection Act for such an offence is $75,000 or two years in jail; however, the maximum penalty ever handed out has been a four-month jail term.

Both men were charged in the Mackay Magistrate's Court with stealing a dog, wilfully and unlawfully killing it, wilfully damaging a gate, and unlawful possession of marijuana, all at Moranbah on Monday.

I have been told by another concerned animal lover this little dog tried to escape on the bloodied stumps away from these people who slaughtered it in the end.

anyhoo, heres info



when you send a note with your entry in it, i WILL send a conformation note or comment on the piece saying that i got it and it has been added.

Last thing, ive decided that for judging, i will make up a point system and each of the judges will rate the entry, then all 3 of the scores will be put together for the average. highest average wins, simple as that.

*point system checklist will be added probably late next week for contestants to see.*

horribly cliched, i know. but i dont want the cliched fluffy and goo goo eyes(you can have it your art piece if it works, but please try and stay away from it). i want original perceptions of love. i want stuff that invokes emotion! make me think when i see your art. i know love isnt fluffy all the time, show me what it can be!

you all know the deal, its not goin to be based on technique, but i dont want it thrown together. dont want any written works submitted either. there may be words in the art piece but keep it to a minimum, k?

the end date is the 25th of july, THIS month. im sorry about short notice, but this is the only date i can do because of where i live. judgin will take place the next day. (judges, if this is a problem, please note me.)now the fun stuff!!!!

im thinking of starting a contest. i cant tell you what the theme will be yet, cuz im still figuring out how im gonna do it.i just need some volunteers for judges maybe? only need one or two. send a note if you want in or not. ill discuss the details in note, so not to divulge any details til i officially announce it. i also need donations on prizes. not just subbies per say, but features, arts pieces, that kind of stuff.so lemme know and if i get enough feedback, ill announce the theme and rules and all that jazz.

i also solemnly swear that it is not about batman.
(although i was tempted )
