UPDATE FOR CONTEST: came up with an idea for the Riot's first contest. In her words, we could "show what we think DA has become or some kind of representation of what its like on DA". Personally I think it would make a good statement for what we stand for here at the Riot. If you like this idea, voice yourself. If you read this journal you deserve a hug because you get to choose what you want and don't want. If you like or don't please tell, and if you have and idea for a contest as well go ahead and say so. If we get a handful, i'll send out notes so you can vote on your favorite. Eventually i'll design a webpage for matters like this, it's pretty simple.

Sick and tired of seeing your typical emo anime gothic crap on the top favorites everyday? Is the stereotype DA member making you feel a little lethargic? Well this place is for you. The rules are gonna be:
NO traditional anime (90% of anime you see)
NO Goth/emo/filter-fucked art/photography
NO unoriginal zeitgeist material (seen it before)
NO art WHATSOEVER that brings in Japwhore wannabies armed with smilies and two-line comments in droves
