In this day and age of deviantART, where new deviations are posted literally every second (go to the main page and watch as the counter goes up), it's become increasingly more difficult for one to get their work noticed by others. Back in the day, when I was one of only a few thousand people here, everyone's work would get seen by everyone else. Nowadays, if you simply refresh the page, a ton of new submissions fly by. It's impossible to keep up with it all.

Leaving comments or adding something of mine to your favorites really shows that you like what I do, so I appreciate it very much. I've never even written a tutorial before, and I'm very pleased with the response. I am thoroughly enjoying this new camera (Canon PowerShot SD110). Image quality is fantastic. Definitely worth the money IMHO. I haven't had the time to do much with it, though. Wait till summer (which starts on May 15th - ha, I love college).

I also made a wallpaper for the first time in about 40 years, which you can see at left. It looks kind of unfinished to me for some reason, but if I try to add anything to it then it just looks wrong. Anyways, I was in Montreal, Canada for the past week and while I was there I took advantage of my camera's ability to store 110 photos, and went crazy taking all these close-up shots. When I got home I created a montage called "The Flowers Of Montreal" of 16 of these photos. The best ones out of those I then touched up and posted individually as a series, titled "Flower Series 01" through "08." So be sure to check those out.

1 :: First of all, I am switching to Mac! Sometime soon if all goes well. I've had enough with Windows and PCs in general.

2 :: DGD2k2 redesign is on hold...I didn't like the new design that much more than the current one so I didn't think it would be worth the effort of redoing everything. I'm also probably going to wait until I'm using the Mac before I do anything, it would just be easier.

3 :: With that in mind, I am going to update the current site - I'd like to add my Euterpe posters to the Designs section, among other things.

4 :: No new screenshot for this month, b/c I'm using the same theme I was using before (Milk). Even though I'm still using this PC my whole theme is a port of a theme for OS X

5 :: Discovered the other day that in all I have downloaded 62 episodes of Frasier - about one fourth of the entire series. Altogether they span about 8 CDs, plus a few more I have on my harddrive. I've also acquired 161 Phish MP3s (778 MB).
