so i got a very short very cryptic e-mail from my writer Jai Nitz something about a mention at the bottom and this link [link] it's a totally short shout out, but that totally made my day and hopefully joe's too. and anyways i thought it was "journal worthy" one day i'll look back and think; "yeah i remember that, that was rad" and then i'll drink a dr. pepper.

I just bought this book today
[link]d_bbs_sr_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1201085477&sr=1-1
It may be the best informational book i've ever gotten. It's definetely more focused on film and animation than comics, but all of the production stuff directly applies. and I tend to have simpler "film inspired" layouts for my comics but i think that anyone could get alot out of this book. so if your bookstore has it then check it out. otherwise make your bookstore order it for you and check it out then. and if the book doesn't rock your face off i'll give you a shiny nickel.

so working retail and trying to finish everything up before my christmas break from school is a huge pain in the ass. and it's really wearing me down. i can't wait for vacation. also i notice i have very little black and white shit in my gallery and as much as i enjoy painting it makes me sad that is so little in the way of inked comic stuff. so i'm probably going to try to fix that soon.
