First of all I feel I owe you all an explanation.

I have neglected DeviantArt a lot recently.
Since I've been back from Switzerland I've not been active here much at all.
I still haven't sorted through the Switzerland photos yet simply because I hate taking landscape photos.
I've been sorting out University stuff,
Money stuff
and (most antagonizing of all)
Relationship stuff

I'm not going to have anything from Switzerland up for a while. Simply because I hate taking landscape photos. Yes I'm making a statement here

I will upload something I took at Greenbelt because I am genuinely proud of it.

I'll get back to people when I'm back on my feet though.

I'm back,
(just about)
Horribly phased out but thats something to do with the caffeine in me. I promise I will kick that addiction one day.

Anywhos, I'm back from Switzerland.
I can say it was exhausting.
Everyday was a new mountain to trek up and wander round.
And trust me when I say stick to the paths, because when you have two huge rocks several times bigger than your own head come hurtling down a very steep rock slope just missing your own head by a couple of inches you know you aren't where you're meant to be.

I have a TON of picture to sort through.
I still don't like landscape photography.
That said it's not like I took photos of anything else.

I've returned to 121 messages and 120 deviations.
THEY WILL BE READ TRUST ME.

But all the To Do's will be for another time soon.
My foot is numb and my head hurts.

I'm actually REALLY apprehensive as to the response on it.
I'm not sure if it's good enough.


Ronnie, who is also a makeup artist, has agreed to help me with the series which I've finally named Don't Hold Me Back.
And I've already made a start on it.

her and her boyfriend ( now fiancé ) have been together for 5 or 6 years, cant remember its been so long.

I know it's been a while since I posted anything, I've been quite busy lately and have been planning a few shoots and a series.

So anyway, I'll have some new stuff up very soon.
I might just upload something from the "Emerge" day in the fields.


But I'm doing the lovely Ronnie a shoot on Tuesday that we've been planning for a while now.
And I'm now talking to makeup artists for help with the series (ooo mystery) when I finish planning it :]


Lately I've been absolutely amazed at the amount of favs and watches I've had.
It really has been a massive inspiration

I have to thank *nerdynotdirty and *Bladeadl for their support
You two are amazing :]

Okay,
I should really un-dye my hair blonde.
I'm having so many blonde moments now.
Or maybe Andy's right and I actually am a retard...?


Anywho,
Me and ~andymole went out location hunting along the canals but in the opposite direction this time.
Stupid sun gave the most annoying shadows.
And there were way too many joggers and bikes.
Big contrast to the underworld this time.

And I shot my 13,000th image on my camera

We walked past an advert for Orange and they had a bunch of their animal balloons stuck to them so Andy gave me a leg up and we robbed a couple and paraded around town taking pictures and along the canal.
Me with my lovely Camel and Andy with his Dolphin.
Tying the silly things to our bags, whenever we lined up a shot, the balloons would creep into view so most of the photos are orange.

Lightroom isn't working at the moment so I'll get the pictures sorted later.
But I can upload the one I stitched in photoshop.
Would have done yesterday but BT can't do what they're paid to do... provide internet.

Okay so I have a trip to Tenerife coming up on June 13th.
Awesome :]
Paid for it all.
Now I need spending money and travel whilst I'm there.
Bollocks.

I have my Education Maintenance Allowance but that keeps me alive and fed.
I could get a job but by the time my first paycheque comes through I'm fucked cause I'll already be out the country.
the only way to earn that money is to half what I would normally buy with my EMA and then do a hell of a lot of photo shoots or any other stuff I can do.

So there.

This is a plea for anyone who knows someone near to Birmingham UK to ask if they want a photo shoot, image retouching stuff, graphic design or web design

This is probably a journal entry in vain but it's worth a try :]

Well more of an annoyed little talk:
I had a photo shoot booked for Saturday for a friend of my brothers,
It was canceled last minute which I wasn't too pleased about because I was bored at home for ages after that.
Anyway I asked why, and it turned out because her parents wouldn't allow it.
And why?
Because they don't think I'm a "real photographer".
I say bollocks to the both of them.
I cover various events regularly, I've gone and covered interviews and gigs, I do personal photo shoots and weddings.
Seriously, what do they want more?

I'm a photographer.

I live by the camera and at this rate I'll die by it too

People, I'm back.
And with a new weapon.
~andymole and I call it the "Light Hoover" but everyone else calls it the Canon 85mm f/1.8.
Got home from the first shoot since before the easter holidays and there was a package.
It's been proclaimed as being on the same level as a few L series lenses and they weren't joking.
f/2.5 and upwards is phenomenal!
But as for f/1.8... well that just eats up all surrounding light

But enough dilly dallying...

I've deleted 21 deviations.
Why?
because I feel they aren't good enough, simple as.
I just need help with 4 more.

Okay, so today me and ~andymole and Jack are looking round the posh business center for college. I'm going to see what the photography stuff is like, and yes, it's rather nice.
But I didn't expect to be given free reign over it and all the lighting stuff for the next couple hours :]
Lucky I bought my camera

Anyway, my first studio experience and I loved it :]
I really did.

But Adobe Lightroom is cocking up at the moment so I'll have to convert the files later but I promise I'll have the cream of them up asap.

I think I have my answer...
I uploaded the new one and in 2 minutes it had more views than the first one got in a month
Wow...
Anyway, I promised myself I'd get a subscription at 2000 views and in the last 5mins I've had about 60 views :\ knocking me up to 2020.

Forecast for Easter Day (My 18th Birthday):
Anger at an early start in the morning followed by pressure as people I really don't like sweep in from the north.
Early afternoon sees calm spell as a large lunch generates.
Showers of boredom follow and get increasingly worse into the evening.
Early nightfall as dark clouds of anger appear.


I thought this was my 18th... not every other day of my life!
Seriously, I'm not looking forward to it anymore.
