Yeps! What the title says~! So close to 70,000 :3 And I couldn't be happier!

But now, I'm sitting here, stuck doing my 28yr old (or 29) brothers laundry. Me, his little sister. Because he's too lazy to take his clothes to a laundry mat. So mom has to drive to his house, pick up his dirty crap, then drive back home. I get stuck doing all HIS laundry, never mind my own. Then she has to drive it back to his house... (My mom's never the type to say "NO")

So I'm sitting here at almost 4am STILL doing his laundry after four hours... oh yes, you heard it, four hours. The guy has more clothing then I've had my entire life.

Last night, something kept bugging me. At the back of my mind, I kept saying "Check your wedding invitation~!" over and over again until I did. Thinking that my best friends wedding (And only girlfriend) was TOMORROW (today) lol

I nearly had a heart attack because I didn't know what to wear and I didn't have anything to bring for them as a present. I felt so badly but I managed to steal one of my mothers big (and I mean big) blouses that was purple and hid the bigness with a small black vest I had. Topped with my black dress pants and heeled boots. I knew I'd be fine although I'd look stupid. But then I thought "It's not MY day to look pretty, it's my friends" so that kind of drove me throughout the night.

When today rolled around, I woke up with a sore throat. Of course, I'd get partially sick (or snore with my mouth open) today! Of all days, TODAY! But anyways, I straightened my hair and ironed the blouse, dressing up and waited for my mother to return home from work so she could drive me.

It was 5:30 when we left the house on the way to the church, not knowing we'd run into rush-hour traffic. I was like "DEAD GOD!" And the Wedding was at 6pm lol

Luckily, I made it on time. Even though I saw the bride enter in through the front door while I had to run around to the back door just to get in lol. Upon entering, I realized... that I'm the only fool... pretty much dressed like a man X3 I felt like crap. But greeting the mothers and fathers of the bride and groom, I was then asked if I needed a seat inside. I had to link arms with some man and walked down the isle to a seat on the brides side. I picked an isle seat since I was taking pictures.
All was fine and good, I watched people getting seated and saw an old friend sit behind me and say hello and chat for a little bit until the doors opened and the brides maids and the maid of honors and the men came in. Ceremony started, yadda yadda. Then the priest did something that I never saw before, which was ordered everyone to stand while my friends favorite Christian song started playing. I was like "Alright, the song sounds nice" but honest to god, this song was 15 minutes long. I'm not even exaggerating. My legs were shaking from me standing in huge heels.

After that, you know the rest of course lol "I do" "I do" *kiss* And awesome :3
I was picture happy the whole time and while signing the book, they had a slide show of pictures from their childhood and I broke down crying. I had been trying to hold it back at certain points through the whole thing but I started crying THEN lol Then all the girls and guys walked down the isle to get out and saw me crying, it was embarrassing. Until the sister of the bride was crying and she poked me and said "I lost it, Nicole!" X3 I said back to her "Me too!" While wiping my eyes with my sleeve. Apparently I wasn't the only one, my friend behind me was crying too lol

After that, I got a ride to the reception hall where we had a fun time :3 Too much fun stuff happened to explain in here or I'd be here all night! lol

By the time the reception ended, it was around 11:30pm and I called my mom to come get me since everyone was leaving. When most people were gone, the brides sister walked up to me and a few other girls and asked if we wanted one of the brides maids bouquets. I was like "ME!" and I got one :3 they are fake flowers too so they'll keep forever <3 When everyone left, I was the only one there. Again, not exaggerating. I was the LAST one there lol I was sitting there and waiting for mom to come get me lol It was 12am when I got home.

All in all, I had so much fun.

Anyways, I thought I'd update you peoples about what's going on recently...
Not much except for house renovations. It's a good thing I'm not working to wait for the contractor people or our renovations would never be done (and I would have to put up with moms bitching more lol)
We got a new toilet, new tiles put in and the old ones ripped up and thrown out. So our main bathroom is mold free and looks bigger :3 YAY!

In other news, I dragged my grandmother to the movies today because she wanted to see The Christmas Story with Jim Carrey and it turns out, Grandma hadn't gone to the movies in SO long... like... VERY long lol
The movie was completely 3D which was new for her as well and she was so amused, it was cute :3 She was trying to poke things through the movie lol
We had some crazy woman in front of us and some spoiled kid behind us... figures. The woman in front was yelling "WOOOOOOO~! WOOOOOOOOOO~!" during the credits when the camera zoomed through the city. She was driving me lol Then the kid behind my mothers seat was pressing and kicking her seat. My mom turned around and glared at the kid saying, "DO YOU MIND?!" and my mother has the same short fuse as I do X3 The mother of the kid was like shocked that my mom yelled at her and what did I do? I started laughing so hard XD
The 3D glasses were hilarious, they wouldn't fit on my face so I had to hold them or kept pushing them up my nose lol My mother, grandmother and I looked like we were in some jazz band or something with these corny glasses on

Going to my brothers Military graduation.

Leaving tomorrow (Nov. 5th) early in the morning, dropping Biggs off at a doggie hotel then drive on the road for 13 hours then be there at the military place by the 6th, have his grad, then stay until we head back on the road either Saturday night or Sunday early morning.

I'll make this short cause I don't want to sit here all day typing and I don't remember half the crap that happened lol

Ugh, what a trip, I'll never be doing this sort of thing again lol
I woke up early Thursday morning and dropped Biggs off at his little doggie hotel. I almost cried cause I didn't want to leave him there D: I told my mom "I hope he doesn't think we're giving him away or something"

I was so sad!
After that, we traveled a 13 hour road trip and almost got killed several times while my mom was getting dangerously tired and swerving D: We didn't even get into New Brunswick until around 4am and we just collapsed onto my brothers fiancee's couch and instantly fell asleep. Woke up 4 hours later to attend my brothers grad, which in his opinion was 'fuckin' horrible'.

I went to go buy a "Support the troops" sweater from their official store and was fucked over AGAIN because they don't sell any size larger then anorexic size.. I tried on a large and it was like it could fit my dog. So I was royally pissed off since I've been screwed over twice while everyone else got the souvenir they wanted. I was stuck with nothing, again.
Call me immature but you have no idea how it feels to not get something you really want to support your own brother while everyone else has something to show for it. My mom asked me if I wanted a sticker and I felt like telling her to shove the sticker somewhere far and dark XD

Anyways, after the grad, we went to go eat at a restaurant then after that, we quickly ran to Walmart because my mouth was horribly cracked and chapped and everyone could see how much pain I was in. (Every time I travel, my mouth shrivels up like a raisin and bleeds. It's horrible)
That's when I found the Walmart Exclusive two-disc special edition of GI Joe. Guess what I did? I got it XD Mom paid for it and said it was my souvenir. X3 Fine by me!

After that, we had to deal with a puppy that ate cat shit and made a big gaggerific shit of it's own. Then we went to a hotel where we had troubles getting a room since we were limited on funds and mom said I would have to pay for my dogs little hotel stay when we get home. (There goes my OSAP money T.T)

After a nice comfy, ear-plugged 10 hour sleep, we woke up and ran around New Brunswick for a little while with Derek until it was time to drive back home.
Mom hugged my brother tight and started to cry (And when I see someone cry, it's VERY hard for me not too) Thank god for my sunglasses cause it held my tears in the lens as I had to stand on my toes to hug my brother. He knows damn well that I was teary-eyed though xD He always knows lol

Driving 13 hours back home seemed shorter then the drive there and we still seemed to take a few wrong turns with our non-descriptive GPS-man. Getting back home around 3am, we both passed out rather quickly.

If you think I got to sleep in, you're wrong XD I had to get up at 8am to go get Biggs from his doggie hotel. When we got there, he was all nice and brushed, and so happy to see us!
"OMGG you didn't give me away!" was the look on his little happy face :3 I was like "EEEEEE BIGGIESSSSSSS" and hugged him xD

When we drove back home, I passed out in bed with all my clothes and my little doggie sleeping at my side. :3

Ahhh, home. Thank god I'm back~

Today has been a very strange and interesting adventure so I'll try to remember all of what happened (Or at least the parts that are worth mentioning)

It all started with me being rudely interrupted by my cell phone alarm every three minutes (That's how I set it lol) ringing loudly in my ear.

I had plans to go to the mall to look for some Halloween stuff to help with my costume but I needed to wake up an hour earlier to take a shower and get ready. I wanted to be ready and out of the house around 12pm. So, my friend (Josh) also needed to get a costume for his friends Halloween/Birthday party that is happening on the 30th (Oh yeah, last minute shopping lol) so I invited him to tag around.

After taking a shower and making my hair look criss-crossed and cool, we set out to walk to the bus stop, which was a few blocks away from our house.

My friend had a plan; he wanted to be a Scarecrow for Halloween so we knew where our journey would start... with a visit to Spencers. Normally, Spencers would be the hot place to go to for Halloween goodness and costume ideas, but after eating a quick meal then walking into the store... well, it was rather disappointing.

I was hoping to buy some face paint from there but they had NO face paint what-so-ever. But I ended up finding this creepy but awesome Scarecrow mask for Josh. He would have past right by it too if I didn't say something.

He looked at it and tried it on, with some difficulties because of his precious hair, but then he was satisfied with how it looked. So I told him "Well put it back and we'll look around the mall for something you can wear with it" so we set it back down and left, knowing it would be there when we came back since there were quite a few.

After a short exploring journey around the mall (Which included me going into Shoppers Drug Mart to see if they had medical masks, which they didn't), we came up rather empty handed and thus, Josh settled with buying the mask separately. It was at that moment when I thought of a good friend of mine here on DA named ~Kigurou and her love for "Dick Tarts". And what did I find near the counter of Spencers? OH YES, Dick Tarts XD I was laughing so hard and had the urge to buy them just to see how ~Kigurou would react but decided not too. Why? Going at $4 for maybe 12 tiny candies would probably make me regret my buying choice XD

Anyway, after leaving Spencers (without Dick Tarts), we decided to go to Value Village (A thrift store) to look around there for something for him to wear with his awesome new mask. But before we did that, I needed to find a medical mask somewhere! I decided to pop into the closest medical center to see if I could get a medical mask since the H1N1 virus is rampant around here, I figured they would be selling some. Josh decided to stay outside because he didn't want to wash his hands before entering the medical center (lawls, he was scared) I entered on my own and looked around. After discovering the HUGE box of masks they sold, I asked if they sold them seperately and they said 'no' which left me back where I started. 'Although' she said to me, 'We do have these that we wear for our patients' and she gave me two out of their box! I thanked her kindly and started to chit-chat about the virus, making her think that's what I wanted them for. After walking out of the medical center with my masks, Josh said I was a lying conartist and I simply replied "It's because I have boobs!" (Which is an inside joke between myself, Josh and Kyle XD I get stuff they don't~ *points to her boobs then gives a thumbs up* ^.~ b)

After a short bus ride later and we stepped in the doors of Value Village and saw that it was absolutely CRAZY! Last minute Halloween shopping for tons of other people. Walking down the narrow isles of the Halloween outfits, I came across something that might be what Josh was looking for. It was called something like "Undead Cowboy" or something but it had this long 'coat' with this torn up sack-like material all down it and it came with a hat (which Josh wanted as well) So he was like "It's perfect!"... Looked at the price... not so perfect. $49.99 for the entire set and with no way of getting the 'coat' separately, chances were thin. I know how to make a fake knife out of cardboard and foil but how would I approach scissors?

ALRIGHT *Sits down by a little fake fire* :3 This just inspired me to dress up this halloween to scare the pants off the children and it fits perfectly...

Kuchisake Onna, also known as The Slit-Mouth Woman, is a scary Japanese urban legend about a disfigured Japanese woman who brandishes a large scissors and preys on children. She has an enormous slit mouth, which extends from ear to ear in a horrible, permanent smile.

The Slit Mouth Woman walks the streets of Japan, wearing a surgical mask and hunting for children. If you cross her path, she will stop you and ask you a question. If you give her the wrong answer, there will be horrible consequences.

Picture the scene. You are walking home from school and your path takes you down a deserted city street. Suddenly, you hear a faint noise coming from the shadows. You glance over and see a beautiful woman standing there. She has long black hair and is wearing a beige trenchcoat. A surgical mask covers the lower half of her face. In Japan, wearing a surgical mask is not uncommon during flu season, to prevent spreading germs.

She steps out of the shadows and blocks your path.

ÂAm I beautiful?Â she asks.

Before you can answer, she tears off her mask, revealing a hideously deformed face. Her huge mouth is sliced from ear to ear and gapes open revealing rows of sharp teeth and a big red disgusting tongue twisting and twirling inside.

ÂAm I beautiful NOW?Â she screams.

Terrified, you struggle to answer her. If you say ÂNoÂ, she pulls out a huge pair of scissors and kills you immediately, chopping off your head. If you say ÂYesÂ, she takes her scissors and slices your mouth from ear to ear, making you look just like her. If you try to run away, she will hunt you down and kill you, by slicing you in two.

The only way to escape from Kuchisake Onna is to give a non-committal answer. If you say ÂYou look averageÂ or you look normal, she will be confused, giving you just enough time to run away.

There are many rumors about how Kuchisake Onna got her horribly disfigured mouth. Some say that her slit mouth is the result of plastic surgery that went horribly wrong. Others say that she was injured in a terrible car crash. Some even believe she is an escaped mental patient who was so demented that she cut her own mouth apart.

According to one legend, years ago, in Japan, there lived a very beautiful woman who was extremely vain and self-absorbed. Her husband was a very jealous and brutal man and he became convinced that she was cheating on him. In a fit of rage, he took a sword and slit her mouth from ear to ear, screaming ÂWho will think youÂre beautiful now?Â She became a vengeful spirit, and began wandering the streets of Japan, wearing a surgical mask to hide her terrible scars.

The Slit Mouth WomanÂs reign of terror began in the spring and summer of 1979, when rumors began to spread throughout Japan about sightings of the Kuchisake-onna hunting down children. The story spread like wildfire and actually created scares in many towns. Police increased their patrols and schools sent teachers to walk students home in groups.

In 2004, South Korea was plagued by reports of a red-masked woman who was chasing children.

In 2007, a coroner found some old records from the late 1970s about a woman who was chasing little children, but was hit by a car, and died shortly after. Her mouth was ripped from ear to ear.

The USA has its own version of Kuchisake Onna. There were rumors about a clown who appeared in public bathrooms and accosted children, asking ÂDo you want death or happy smile?Â if they chose Âhappy smileÂ, he took out a knife and slit their mouths from ear to ear.

Dad's Thanksgiving Dinner: (Oct. 11th) -Yesterday

Well, all was fine and good, I knew we were going to eat at my fathers house for Thankgiving but something is wrong with my family. Everyone, besides me, has some organizational problem and they can't plan if their lives depended on it! So, like always, the youngest in the entire family had to phone up everyone, find out when dinner was then plan then phone everyone back to tell them.

*Scratches her head* I HATE being the messenger girl... all...the...f-ing time...
Anyway, eating at my dads house gave me an oppertunity to say hello to my darling feline babies who have been missing me dearly.

I'm happy to let you all know that Sam and Tigger are doing just fine :3 Like always, Tigger came right up when hearing my voice and followed me around the entire time. While Sam... well, I had to hunt her down in the house and give her a few friendly pets before she crept out from hiding.

Other then that, it was fine and dandy. The dinner was amazing and the night was ending with me carrying a bag full of white breast turkey for sandwiches. We drove my grandmother home and I got out of the car to help her carry some things in before I noticed something..

Something... gross...

I looked at the seat I was just sitting in and saw a puddle of something. Something liquidy. I shouted to my brother "HEY! DEE! SOMETHINGS LEAKING!!" And I realized, my dumb-dumb brother set a turkey pan with greece on the seat beside me and it leaked out.

Guess who's ASS got SOAKED in turkey fat and greece? Oh yes... me. My favorite pair of jeans were completely soaked and it was soaking my underwear while I waited for my grandmother to unlock her door. I go running in while holding a cake in my hands, dropping the container on the counter before taking my pants off right then and there in her kitchen with the back door windows open and my brother walked in LOL

Normally, I'm shy about that sort of thing but... not when greece is soaking through my underwear and greecing my ass...

I ran to the bathroom in my panties while my brother was yelling "OH GOD GROSS!" and me yelling "FUCK YOU DEE!" X3 and it turns out.. my panties were way too soaked to even wear anymore. Thank god, I sleep over at my grandmothers sometimes and had a pair of PJ bottoms I could wear. Unfortunately, I went 'commando' under them... the most disgusting feeling of fleece everywhere and my greecy ass... embarrassing...

After that, I realized... greece soaked my favorite purple sweater... I nearly started crying D: Greece stains are so hard to get out and if it doesn't come out.. I'll loose my mind D:

Anyway... I'm in proper clothing now.. panties and all and I'm going to bed lol I'll update this journal later today as it is officially the Canadian Thanksgiving day dinner with my mother.

Let's hope I don't get into anymore embarrassing situations.

Okay, so this is going to be a short update because I'm dead tired lol

Last night, my brother phones me up on my cell phone and asks what I'm doing 'tomorrow' (today) then I asked "Why do you want to know?" and he goes on to ask if I could go to his house during the day and watch his house until the cable guy comes by to look at some problems he's been having with his internet.

As a nice little sister, I said "sure, what time do you need me over there?" and to my shock and horror he said "You need to be here at 6am before I leave for work" ...my exact words (and cover your eyes if you hate swear words was..) "Oh fuck me..." and he told me the guy was expected to come sometime between 8am-5pm...but I had to stay there until he got home or I was afraid someone would steal his stuff if I left through the back door.

So, like a good little sister, I still agreed and tried to go to bed a little earlier then usual. I estimated 5 hours of sleep before I'd get up and sleep for a little while at his house. Do you think I got that 5 hours? Nope. I'm guessing about 3 hours of sleep. Why? Because I've been terribly sick for a week now.

But. Like a good little sick sister, I got up at 6am, packed up a few things like my laptop and some movies as well as a nice warm blankie before my mother drove me to his house.

When I got there, I plopped on his couch and took a quick nap. An hour passed and I was woken up by general noise in his apartment building. So I slept again, two hours pass and I get woken again. Sleep, I get a phone call from my brother, checking up on me. lol It kept going like that until I thought I heard the cable mans truck outside.

I woke up and walked to my brothers balcony door and opened it, walking through, I leaned over his balcony to look down and I couldn't see through the trees. I shrugged, turned around and grabbed the door handle.

Locked.

I was locked out of the apartment, stuck on a balcony that was like 4 feet by 4 feet... without my cell phone. I panicked. I started kicking the door as hard as I could without flying back to my death and it wasn't working. My heart was pounding as I was in a state of panic and fear. I started looking for an alternative down. Three stories up on a single, non-joined balcony didn't look like a fun journey down. Next option... yell for help and get someone to come up to the apartment's unlocked door and let me out? Not good. What if they start robbing my brother and my stuff right before my eyes. Not a good option I was willing to go with.

Before the option of shouting like a loonitic to call the cops, I decided to give the door a few more hard hip-checks. Bashing my entire body against the door with all my might until...

The door flung open. I was sent flying into the apartment and onto the floor, rather gracefully, which I'm thankful for (didn't want to add a bloody nose to the situation) before I stood up... shaking from head to toe. I checked the door and realized the lock was pretty shitty to begin with and didn't sit right against the door. I had skimmed a few paint and wood chips off the door frame of the door. But I was in..

Thank god. I vowed not to open up any more doors in that place. I didn't even go to the bathroom. I was so scared. (I didn't pee for 13 hours XD)
After that, there was no way I was going back to sleep.

ANYWAY! On a lighter note, I have myself a little project. Mom brought home this pumpkin that had been growing inside her work O.O She works at a recycling plant and SOMEHOW these pumpkins were growing from a pile of broken glass, tomatoes and other stuff. Don't ask me how but when they were ready and grown, they plucked some off and gave them to the workers.

I have a job to draw on this pumpkin so mom can take it to work and display it on her desk :3

Well, I'm moved into my new home after so long (Actually, I've been moved in since last Saturday and Sunday but everythings been hellish lol) I got everything moved in either the house or out in the garage and it's just a matter of painting the entire house because the previous owners were pigs....

So right now, my 'cool room' is half in plastic totes and plastic bags waiting for the walls to be painted. When that happens, I will be able to create my room all over again the away I like it but without slanted walls and a smaller working area.

It doesn't matter though, we needed to get out of that hellish, $1000 a month rent shit hole anyway.

The whole time I've been here with mom, I've only heard her complain about what needs to be done in order to make this place our own, but I never heard her say anything nice about it.
Basically, I'm the one that picked this house and gave her a verbal tour of the place and persuaded her to get it.

I asked mom today "Are you happy here?" and she said "Yes." But she didn't say anything else, but I'm sure that when we get everything painted and set up, she'll feel alot better about this place and let it feel like home.

Right now, it feels like a big change from a big house where we had so much unused space to a townhouse with people living on both sides and limited space.

It's just something we have to get used to but I'm happy to be moved out and into a fresh, new house of opportunities :3

So! I was invited to go to the Toronto Zoo with my good friend

with him and his mother and father, and after a few arrangements I said that I would tag along!

I'm glad I did because I haven't paid a visit to a Zoo for a very long time! And with the possible chance of seeing a white tiger, how could I pass that up?!

Anyway, I woke up at 8:30am with my admission money ($21) clutched in my hand and my backpack on my back, ready to go when they came to pick me up. After they came to get me, it was only a short one hour drive to get there (and we saw a company called "BAKA" lawl, I'm totally serious) and when we did, the parking lot was slightly empty. I guessed it was because no one would come to a zoo at 10am. There was a fair bit of a line up at the entrance where we could buy tickets and that's when ~Kazuka550's mom told me to get the Stingray Bay pass. Which I didn't hear the first time so ~Kazuka550 repeated it and I was like "what? Why do I need that? That's an extra $3" and he explained and I saw his parents get one so I wasn't going to be the only boob left out so I bought it. Totaling my entrance fee as $24

I expected a wrist band or something saying that we paid but they gave nothing but a receipt, what a jip D:

When we got inside, we first started our adventure around the zoo and stopped off at a few places to look at the animals. Waved at alot of them and they stared at me o.o
I also got to pet a bunch of sting ray's so that was cool! And unfortunetly, there were no White Tigers but I bought a super cute plushie of one at the gift shop for $10 :3

"If the rhino starts to charge, I'm fuckin' booting it" was what I said along those lines when it was looking straight at me o.o

Poor Mr. Gigglar was laying in the shade and ~Kazuka550 made a trip out to see this very guy and he didn't look like he was getting up to say hi. But then, he did! We were so happy :3 Thankies Hyena!

There were Peacocks walking around the entire zoo freely and one even walked up to Pizza Pizza and Harvey's food restaurant to sample some fries left behind.

You heard me! I'm moving from this shit hole and moving into a townhouse! This big house is full of problems and it's too much unnecessary room for just my mother and myself

Of course, everything is going to hell all at once and I think it's because the house is ready to die X3 It's saying "I'm just going to stop working for you to get you out sooner!!"

List of things going to hell: (Not complete)
-Our deck in the backyard is falling apart (We're missing a step!!)
-Our air conditioning is not working
-There's no electricity to our bathroom or living room except one plug outlet
-Our internet was connected to the downstairs light.. it wouldn't work without the light on
-There's absolutely NO HOT WATER (Which means we have to hop in a car and ride to my grandmothers to shower lol)
-Our basement is a complete battleground since it was wrecked after the flood
-Most of our belongings downstairs are ruined
-No TV or clocks working
-No dishwasher working
-We have a fat and happy mouse o.o (Who eats Biggs' food and drinks his water X3)

Anyway! In other news, my site on Tripod is changing and fast o.o Which means I have to work furiously to change it before I can no longer change anything on the old site. Now you guys can't see it because I haven't deleted the old one yet for this new one to replace it but I took a screencap of what the new profiles for my characters would look like :3

I thought I would tell you the little adventure I had this morning.

I got up early, thinking I was going to take the bus to work and my brother gave me a ride which was awesome but I was 1 hour and 30 mins early! XD I was like "there is no way I'm sitting in a dirty lunchroom for an hour and change" so I walked over to Future Shop and walked around there for a while until I passed by one of the "big tv and couch" set ups and saw this guy setting up his Playstation 3 and I was like 'Ooo what's going on here?' and he was a representative from Playstation! He was at Future Shop to play demos and give more info and stuff. Since I was the only one basically there, I started talking to him and helping him set up his displays, keeping him company and stuff and then he was like "here!" and gave me a lanyard that says Playstation 3 on it and he gave me a playstation 3 pen :3 It's a GOOD pen! And I told him "dude, I want your job!" he said he only sits there and plays demos at different locations all the time. He told me to keep my eyes open online at Workopolis lol Also, I took advantage of asking him a few things about the PS3 :3 He said "They just gave me a Playstation 3 and some games" XD I was like "OMG!"

After my awesome little adventure there, I had to walk back to work and had a progressively bad day lol

Don't Be Afraid
(Advice Rant)

I just thought of something that I have been struggling with for some time and I thought that I would share with my watchers and stalkers...

Do you ever have problems telling people what you like to do in your spare time? Whether it be from sketching to knitting?

Well I do. A few weeks back, I met some of my girl friends friends around a camp fire and was having a great time. Of course, to break the ice and stuff, they were asking if I was in college and whatnot, which I was fine with. But then I told them that I wasn't going back to finish my Graphic Design course. They asked me what I wanted to take instead, thinking it might be a lot cooler or bigger then Graphic Design. I simply muttered "Comic book design..." and they, of course, nodded and said "cool" which I knew was a polite way of saying something bad.

Then later, another girl asked me what I liked to do in my spare time and I replied that I like to sketch, thinking that was going to end that conversation on my part, at least. Well, it didn't. She asked "Oh yeah, sketching what?" and I hung my head and muttered, "anime.." and she said something that surprised the hell out of me. Something I have heard other say sarcastically before but she was completely serious.

She turns to me and says, "That's so cool! I can't draw a single thing if my life depended on it. I can't even draw a stick figure with a triangle dress." Which made me giggle a bit and feel a little better. Then she went on to say that she also knew someone that was interested and drew anime. Then she invited me to go on an 'art crawl' that's held yearly here.

But it's so stupid how I feel so embarrassed to just tell people what I like to draw. I have no problem telling people that I'm a female gamer, I don't drink, don't smoke, don't do or take drugs, I've never gone clubbing, I'm afraid of the dark and bugs and the list goes on.
But why is it that I can't tell people that I have a talent in drawing?

Is it because my entire life has been filled with people pointing and laughing at me? All throughout grade school (elementary to high school) I was constantly made fun of and picked on for drawing what I liked. Even in high school, I had this bitch of a teacher who would mark me very low to zero because 'the eye or mouth looked "anime-ish"' and she would constantly call me out in front of the class and embarrass the shit out of me. Then all the art teachers except one caught on to doing that to me.

Do you think I escaped it when I went home? Oh no. My brothers would pick on me and harass me for liking and drawing it too. Even my step mother (who was a bitch in the first place) would call me a loser and I would die alone and I would never get far because I was watching Final Fantasy:AC and drawing at the same time.

Let me tell you right now that I do have the ability to draw and sketch other things besides Anime and I can draw realistically but it's just not my passion. Maybe it might be in the future but right now, it's just not. I'm not saying I'm a complete expert on it either, not even close.

I'm a VERY self-conscious and low self-esteem person as it is and to add that onto the flaming pile just makes the fire bigger...

So, if you can learn anything from this small rant, is to not be afraid to tell people what you like to do, no matter what it is. If you like fishing, knitting, drawing, doodling, poking your dog in the nose all day... don't be afraid to tell them. If they look at you and laugh, either tell them what you feel or just think 'I'm probably never going to see this person again, and if I do, they might not remember this moment anyway.'

Or you can tell them to shove a cucumber up their ass... either one X3

Other Stuff

Recently, my brother has returned from his military base in New Brunswick and he is staying until September 7th (I think) which means he gets to celebrate his birthday home with us (Sept. 3rd) Which is great!

I'm just happy that my mom is going to be a little better once he leaves again. Recently, it's been nothing but Derek Derek Derek. Seriously, you can chuckle at that Braidey bunch reference but it's seriously annoying. My mom freaks out about the smallest thing that involves him and then rants on and on about it. Now that I know that I don't have to take back the adapter and my computer is working alright, I can start using Photoshop again (Since it kept dying with my old adapter)

I have a day off on Saturday so I will be working like a crazy person.

Recently, my battery life problems on my laptop have been so stressful and hard for me to handle.
While doing my usual surfing on DA as well as chatting on messengers, and the occasional playing an online game, my computer has been randomly turning off even when it's been plugged in. The battery signal on my computer has been saying that it's charging but it really wasn't. On the bottom of my laptop, you can see five lights on the battery that flash when it's charging properly.

But recently, even though the computer was saying it was charging, the little light on the plug and the lights on the battery were not on, so the cord was fooling my laptop. It kept saying that the battery life was around 56% which is better then nothing but when it shut off automatically and I restarted it, the battery life was 0%...

So last night, I did a little bit of research on where to get the best deal on a new charging adapter. I checked the Apple site as well as Best Buy and Future Shop (I know Best Buy and Future Shop are owned by the same company but... keep reading!) So I saw that Apples website had it for $129.00 then Future Shops was $159.00 and Best Buys was $129.00. So instead of driving into Mississauga to the Apple Store, I was going to go to Best Buy.

This morning, I went back on the Apple website, and I was amazed that it was only $99.00. I printed off the page and then my mother thought of something great. She called up Best Buy and asked if they do "Price Matching" which they take a price from another place and match the price. So she phoned them up, and they were able to do it!

So I gathered my papers that I printed off from Apple and we traveled to Best Buy and I picked it off the shelf. Apparently, Best Buys website lied as it said "$159.00" on the shelf. lol!

Long story short, I got the adapter for $99.00 ($106.00 with tax and blah) I explained my situation to the woman there and she said "Maybe it's your battery" and I told her "I think I'll try this first before I go spend almost $200 on a battery" lol

I came home, plugged it in and now, IT WORKS!! The little light on the plug is glowing so brightly that it's distracting my eyes and the lights on the bottom of my laptop are glowing and charging :3 (I'm just a little paranoid now that I keep checking to see if the bottom lights are on lol)

I'm just glad that my battery isn't dead just yet. Because the $106.00 that I just spent is my entire paycheck until next Friday...

Edit:

I SUPPORT ANTI-MEGAN FOX DAY!!!! Ban that ugly chick from news, papers, and everywhere else for an entire day! That will be the perfect day EVER! That's just my opinion.

On Sunday, (I know I'm a little late lol) I went to a big bon fire party with my friend Jessica, a bride to be to a guy I used to know in High School. ANYWAY, I thought it would be a mixture of girls and guys but to my surprise, it was all women! Which was perfect and it was so great :3

I got to meet some of the girls that will be in Jessica's bridal party (aka maid of honor and brides maids) and they were so nice to me :3 I got to know a few of them and I was actually invited back and exchanged my number with one of the girls :3

Then something else happened that makes me smile even now. Jessica took me by the arm and said I will be invited to her wedding :3 Which made me SO happy! I knew that I could go to the ceremony but I didn't know if I was invited to the reception afterwards :3 So I was VERY happy :3

In other news, DOES ANYONE KNOW WHERE I CAN GET A RECIPE TO CANTONESE CHOW MEIN NOODLES?! Just the noodles XD I normally order the Cantonese Chow Mein from a Chinese place and end up only eating the noodles, broccoli and baby corns. Leaving the onions, shrimp and chicken for my mom. But if I could get the recipe, I could just make the noodles and just make what I like in it :3

OH YEAH! By the way, I bought Watchmen: Directors Cut special edition extra 24 mins of goodness :3
I'm watching it now and it looks so amazing on my flat screen tv :3

In other news, I saw Harry Potter a few nights ago when I took my mother to go see it for her birthday. It was rather enjoyable and I liked it allot as I could relate to allot of things that were featured in the movie :3

Next movie I'm waiting for now is G.I Joe and 2012 <-(which comes out next year, I think)

Tomorrow, I'm going to my girl friends house to have a giant bomb fire with her and her friends :3 So that should be very entertaining :3 I always enjoy being with my best friend going on...god knows how long lol Let's just put it this way... she was my first friend going into school and has stayed that way even now :3

Other then that, what have you guys been up too? I know my journals have been rather dull and 'not worth reading' since I began working but really, how many times would you like to hear about the dull days I have in the working world doing the exact same thing lol
Unless an elephant walks into the building, I doubt anything exciting will happen at work lol

â Ï â Just pushing through work and enjoying my days off when I can to doodle and play games.

I sure miss the days where I can spend 12 hours on a single picture XD but I'm still here and still living!

I'm just happy that I'm kind of glad that I got over my fear of the cash register and giving out cash so that's one good thing about my work!

I got paid last Friday and I got quite a bit but.. I have to give $150 to mom, $100 to OSAP account and then $100 for future schooling. Giving me only $89 to spend how I like lol If I someday want my PS3... I get like $50 to spend if I put $50 toward the PS3 so we'll see :3

I miss the lazy days of sleeping in and sitting around doing nothing but being with my mom and dog.

Work is too hard and stressful. Overwhelming beyond belief.

I actually started crying for many different reasons when my Y.I.T Councellers came to visit me at my job on Friday. They said if I needed anything or if I was being treated unfairly or treated badly, they wouldn't stand for it since I'm their friend. They said they will visit me more then any of the other people from Y.I.T because I'm one of the few that kept in contact with them daily and had the determination. So, through that, they've become my friends.
It was sad to see them go again after they officially 'closed' my file...but I'll still keep in contact with them.

If I had the choice to go back in time before applying to this job, I wouldn't have done it again.

So, I woke up this morning at 6:30 and got ready. Ate a bit of breakfast and then headed off to my job site. When I got there, I had to knock on the 'out' door and was let in, immediately, everyone but the two people who interviewed me, didn't know who the hell I was lol

I was standing at the front with the rest of the employees and managers, as they went over some of the money that they racked up over the weekend. Which didn't mean alot to me lol (Just kinda sounded like 'blahblahblah'

After that, they said that they would get me a shirt but it would be 1XL lol I was thinking "There is no way in HELL I'm wearing a 1XL shirt!" but then the other manager said that she had a medium set aside and saved for me. Thank god or I would have been swimming in a 1XL shirt lol I would have had to tie the shirt back with my apron lol

So after a short change in the womens washroom, I walked out and put my name tag on, which they had already made as well. "Hi, I'm in training!" was at the top along with "NICOLE" in big letters. I also got a free lock for my locker lol So that's pretty cool lol I got to lock my stuff in an empty locker.

Shadowing the woman who was training me, it was hard at first to remember what the heck to do and being the only trainee, it was just overwhelming. I had to tell customers a few times to 'hold on please' and then wait for the training woman to finish what she was doing so she could teach me at the same time lol

It was so hard, I didn't even get a good lunch, I had a 20 minute lunch break, which got me across the street and bought a coke from Wendy's which took 15 minutes... By the time I walked in, my lunch was over and I had to toss out the rest of my pop and punch back in.

Throughout the day, the printers would go on and off and decide whether or not to work, they didn't know what the heck was going on and I said that it was me, I was cursing them XD
Also, everything was breaking when I touched it. And that's no excuse, I mean literally. I was cutting a lamintating order and the blade slipped right off the rail and the woman said it happened alot. She ripped the pole out and I could see that the end was taped to hell lol

Then the next thing that broke was the phone, the phone came right off the wall and good thing it was caught but then we had to tie a wire around a pole and tape the hell out of this phone on the wall.

Also, we were having such a hard time putting up the display for one of the advertising posters lol Whatever we did, it just didn't work out. It took three people to put it together.

Other then that, I was so happy when 4:30 rolled around and the first day was very VERY overwhelming.

But, I handled the cash register, dealt with customers and did it to the best of my ability. Lets hope nothing breaks tomorrow and it becomes a little easier for me.

I GOT THE JOB!!!! BOOOOOOOOYAHHHHHH!!!!!!

Here's the story:

After getting a phone call from the woman on Tuesday, she left a message and said she would be gone around 2pm and not be back until Thursday. Of course, I was out running errands and missed the call, so I had to wait until Thursday.

Thursday is today and I got a phone call from her! I picked up the phone and she said something like "I was wondering if you would still be interested in working with us crazy people" and right at that moment, I was taken back a little bit. I thought she was a grumpy woman like before but she just cracked a joke! I replied back "Of course I would~" and she said "Great! Welcome aboard!"

I thanked her a few times and she told me to write down the times when I start for a training shift which is all next week.
Monday- 7:45 - 4:30
Tuesday- 12:30 - 9:15
Wednesday- 12:30 - 9:15

Friday- 7:45 - 4:30

Then she asked for my SIN number and asked what size shirt I wear. Now all I need is a banking deposit sheet that looks half decent. She said that the training with another woman is pretty fun and it's a faced paced, learn-while-you-go thing but I'll try my best!

I'm so happy and excited yet... my stomach is gurgling and now I'm nervous about doing okay....

Well, my second interview was today at 11 am and I arrived 15 minutes earlier. When I walked right in, the woman was walking around near the front so I didn't have to wait that long at all. The girls working started asking me questions like if I had an interview and stuff like that, which was nice of them to chat with me.

Anyway, the woman took me into the very back where her office was and we sat down. She started asking me questions but then when I said I was interested in the copy/printing center, she started bad-mouthing it. Saying that it was by far the worst section to work in the entire store and that it's so stressful and frustrating and that she felt sorry for the girls working there. I wasn't sure if she was bad-mouthing it to get a reaction out of me or if she really meant it but I found it very odd that someone would sit there and bad-mouth the job that I'm taking the time out to apply for. Even my mother and grandmother thought it was odd when I told them what she said to me.

Other then that, she must have been having a bad day but she was very negative about the job in general. It was hard for me to sit there with a smile on my face when she's telling me it's a 'crap' job. It made me feel like was trying for nothing and it was a very unpleasant feeling. But I fought through it with a smile on my face (even if she wasn't returning the smile) and I was quite happy when it was over. Aside from all the bad comments made by her and striking slight panic in me, I think it went alright.

She said she would talk to my references on Monday or Tuesday then she'd let me know after that. I phoned my references right after the interview to leave them a message and let them know that she would be calling them. I just hope they get the message before hand.

Oh the bright side of things, I went to Walmart after the interview and bought myself a pair of cheap and adorable PJ pants with MUTTS on it :3 Mutts is a cute comic in the newspaper of a kitty and a doggie :3

NO, my legs aren't that huge XD They're just baggy lol Don't make me feel fatter then I am lol

I have a job interview tomorrow at Staples Business Depot :3 YAY!!!!! Now I'm so nervous to do well lol I just got off the phone with my counceller and good friend and she said I will do fine as long as I was honest and smiling like I normally do then they'll see how friendly I am :3

Well I just got back from my interview at Staples today

It all started with me waking up at 10:30 am and taking a quick shower. Then I blew dried my hair and my mother straightened my hair to make me look good :3
I also wore the shirt and pants that I wore for my brothers military graduation! So I looked good :3

So when 1:30pm rolled around, I left my house to go meet up with my Y.I.T counselor; Karen and Lindsay. I missed them so much since I left the Y.I.T meetings. Karen sat down with me and went over some potential interview questions to get me ready then she challenged me with a mock interview. Which is basically a '

rep' interview :3

After the mock interview, Lindsay sat down with us and I was asking questions as well as chit chatting with them for a while before I got my resumes and references printed off. So I thought I felt good about it.. until I left lol Talking to people I felt comfortable with wasn't the same as meeting someone new and doing the same things.

I had an hour or so before my interview started so I filled in some paper work and just read over the Staples website until it was time...

I left and arrived 15 minutes early. When I walked into the store, I introduced myself at the customer service section and the woman called the manager. She told me he was just coming back from a break so I had to wait for 10 minutes, which was fine. I wandered around looking at some of the products, but didn't stray too far from the customer service section.

When the time went over the 10 minute time, the employees kept telling me that I could sit down in one of the showcased chairs to wait. But I declined, thinking that it would be better for me to be standing and looking interested in the products instead of the manager walking up and seeing me resting in a chair.

When he did come, I was there ready. But when he asked who I was, he asked if I was Kelly... I said "No, I'm Nicole!" and he said "I don't know why I thought you were a Kelly" lol I was thinking 'I don't know why either' but I shook his hand firmly and walked with him. He took me onto the floor where they were selling desk chairs and work desks and sat down. No office or anything, just sitting down on the floor at a desk.

There were so many distractions, I was trying not to pay any attention to them and concentrated on looking at the manager and listening closely. I did have to ask him to re-say some questions because of the noise around us.

But while I was sitting there and listening, it was very relaxed and he was really cool to sit down with. Some of his questions took me back a bit. He kept asking those situational questions like "What would you do if-" but he went deeper then that. Asking "What would you do if you were an employee and a customer bought something that was 'crap', what would you do?" or another question like "If you were a customer, would you like to see in customer service employees" and I was taken back a bit but I answered honestly.

He answered several of my questions that I wanted to ask him. As well as throwing in a small question after he had answered the question.

It sounds so complicated but I'm sure that I would get used to it. It just seems scary to me because I haven't worked any where and I haven't been able to say "no" to someone who was a customer.

All in all, I think it went well. He said that he feels good about me getting a second interview because I was friendly and smiley so let's pray!

After waiting 6 months for a stupid appointment, I woke up at 9am to get to the 10am appointment. Sat around in the waiting room for 30 minutes before being called into the little room. Then waiting 30 minutes more for the doctor to get there.

When she did, she started talking about what could be the problem and everything else. Then after I told her my little story of how I discovered my hair being different while she's checking and touching my head.
Until she said, "Alright well I have to do a very mean test." and grabbed one of my hairs, just ONE, and started pulling. I was like saying 'ow' mentally and hissed, sinking my head down until she finally ripped it out. I jokingly went "Nuuu I need that~" which made her laugh lol My scalp was pitch red.

Then she told me that my stats didn't look too abnormal. Then said, I needed a blood test to check my iron... another blood test lol I'm pretty used to them now but I still don't want to do them lol

So we left and then went to my favorite laboratory with nice people and then got my blood taken :3

SO I have to wait for the call to see if my iron is all good. If it's normal, I just have to keep doing what I'm doing which is taking my multi-vitamin and keep eating green vegetables and fruits :3

So yeah, I waited 6 months for that XD

What a fun time it was this year! :3

Just a warning that this won't be very long as I have a commission to finish off.

All I have to say is that this might have been one of the fun times I've spent at AN.
I wasn't as shy as I normally am while walking up to artists and chatting with them as well as cracking jokes to the vendors in the Dealer's Room :3

I also think this is the year of Commissions lol I have finally learned not to buy prints unless I REALLY like it and REALLY figure out where the heck I can put it lol
So this year I learned that instead of buying prints, I would try to commission my most favorite artists. So I did! I only got a few things other then commissions, but I got ALOT of Commissions.... (Commissions Commissions Commissions~ Say that five times fast XD lawl, I'm so tired lol)

As much as I enjoyed seeing many MANY people from Devaintart, I did miss not seeing my friends *StudioQube as well as the *UdonCrew

... Does anyone else think this is stupid? Or is it just me?

The weather is crap for this area and it's a WEEK before May 2/4 weekend. Why? Who knows considering the 24th still falls under the weekend next week but they probably don't want people taking the Monday off because of their drunken stupidity... but still.

Anyways, I'm sorry I haven't updated much but since I got home from Montreal, it's constant rushing and stuff I had to do. This is the only time I actually had time off to do whatever.

My awesome sexy sleek cell phone that I love so much has been taken away from me and is currently being held by... an unclean individual while being fixed and I won't be able to hold it again for 4 weeks. D:

so YAY! :3

Anyway! I'm going to go watch a Silent Hill: Homecoming walkthrough and poop my pants (not literally but I might have to go pee more then usual XD)

EDIT :

I just finished watching the entire walkthrough to the popular hit Silent Hill: Homecoming and I must say I'm still impressed by the producers interesting scene details and the fact that the graphics are consistent all the way through. The cut scenes are the exact same animation as the man you're controlling while walking through the scenes. I love that. It's so much better then you walking around with a pixelized man then BAM awesome 'I'm going to pop your fuckin' eyes out' graphics for the cut scenes. The eye-poing graphics at times are not consistent.

...But I guess playing as a handsome man will add a few advantages too lol

I have heard other people not enjoy it but for me, I don't pick apart games and find things that are wrong with it. I throughly enjoyed using my time to watch the walkthrough and enjoyed the strange twists and turns as well as the shocking scenes with the numerous creative monsters and dead bodies falling through the ceiling.

Depending on how you play the game and make the decisions, it decides what ending you get. There are 5 different endings that it will give you. I can tell you exactly which ending was good and which one was bad lol
Ending #5 - UFO ... Le SUCK! It was SO BAD! I feel sorry for anyone who got this ending
Ending #4 - Hospital ... One of the very good ones that left you thinking "Wtf?"
Ending #3 - New Head ... Is the most awesome ending if you love Pyramid Heads <3 I DO!
Ending #2 - Drowning ... Another good one because it also leaves you thinking "What the shit?"
Ending #1 - Happy Ending ... Very bad ending lol Possibly worse then the UFO one. They walk away into NO WHERE all happy and la la la la laaaaa and it explained NOTHING!

IN OTHER NEWS! I went to see Star Trek late late last night, I didn't get home until around 12 am lol

I have to say, as not a Star Trek fan (STAR WARS FTW) umm I rather enjoyed it :3 The special effects and the realism of the ship and the numerous shots of space and their planets was believable. No crude sex scenes and Spock was WAY too cute... that's not supposed to happen! XD

All in all, I will definitely be buying Star Trek when it comes on DVD <3

Woke up at 11 am this morning, surprisingly enough lol

Then hopped on the road to hit the local comic book store. When driving up to the shop, I saw the owners dressed as Flash and Superman, helping to make a ham sandwich for visitors.

There was a limit of 3 per person but with the help of my mother, I got a total of 6 that I wanted

I also got a present for my friend *nekoshiei

After the comics were done, my mother and I went to go see the new X-men Origin's movie! And I have to say that it wasn't THAT bad lol But I also don't read too into it. Of course, a comic based movie will never EVER be based straight off the comic book pages or it would be stupid. If it was identical to the comics, why bother? Just buy the comics.

I rather enjoyed it, as well as my mother. It will be bought as "previously viewed" from Blockbuster, though. Not worth buying for the original $29.99 it will come out to be.

Only complaints I have for the movie is... Deadpool.. *shiver* Not going to bother explaining lol and the fact that there wasn't enough Gambit or his proper voice and attitude.
One thing I have to say is that I did like seeing a few of the mutants that will appear later on as adults. And I adore how they did Emma's powers (even though I hate her with a passion) with Emma's appearance, it makes me believe that there will be a fourth... a movie AFTER the second one.

I forgot to mention this douche-bag of a guy in the theater, his cell phone kept going off and he kept getting up and walking to the door of the show but didn't step out! He started talking loudly and it echoed through the whole room! Disturbing us ALL! There was one guy who yelled out for him to turn off his phone, but obviously he didn't hear. When he came back to his seat, he sat down. Five minutes later, he got up because it went off AGAIN and my heart was pounding with rage until I yelled out "THIS TIME, GO OUTSIDE!" then this other woman yelled out "Or better yet, turn off your phone!" And this one guy yelled out "Get out or I'll come down there and shove your phone up your ass!" XD We all started laughing and that douche got a hint. When he came back, I openly called him a douche-bag and he sat there in his seat and the phone didn't dare go off again lol I would have murdered him.

ALRIGHT BOYS AND GIRLS! (Men and Women and...aliens?)

I guess I haven't updated my journal much since I was working... Nor have I had the time to draw or anything. But that's alright! I'll update you all on the recent happenings.

Easter weekend was.. interesting to say the least. On Friday night, my mother and I had to drive out to Oshawa, which is about two cities away from ours, to pick up my brother from the train station. He recieved the weekend off from Boot Camp, so that meant he got to stay with us for the weekend. I was so excited to see him, soooo happy. Since it's been around three months since I've seen him.
He came back with one of his military friends who was sleeping over for the night down stairs in the basement. So when we got back to the house at 1am, they unpacked a bit and then my brother went out for a booty call and left the guy downstairs in the basement.

The next day, my brothers and I went to dads house for Easter dinner. Yum yum, was good. Grandma was there, she's good. etc etc. Then my brother dropped me off at my house then went out drinking with my other brother, coming home very late.

Next day, he was very very sick so he stayed in bed all day, saying he was to sick to even get out of bed. He slept all day then later, he got out of bed to go out and party. Then came back very late with some girl downstairs.

Then the next day, he had to leave the house by 9am... I woke up to say goodbye to him in my pajamas..

Do you see something wrong with that whole weekend? My mother was SO upset with him. Upset that he never put in the time to spend even an hour talking or spending time with my mother. The mother who drove his ass at 3 am to the airport then picked his ass up in Oshawa at 10:30pm... the same mother who would bend over backward for any of her kids.
And he spent more time with my father, who wouldn't do anything for anyone unless held at gunpoint, rather then my mother.
As much as I would have loved to see him more, I would give up my time with him so my mother would have had more time... I was so upset with him that I couldn't think of any words to explain how I felt.

Anyway, his graduation is in May (May 7th to be exact) and it might be the last time we see him in.. god knows how long...)

Today has got to be the most productive so I'll update on today.

My three week job has ended and I received my pay on the 15th.. looked at it and said "Why the hell did I get only $399 for three weeks? I should have got around $810 before tax..." so my mother and I started FREAKING out because that's like $410 dollars down the drain? That's not happening. So I had a meeting with my mentors today while trying to enroll myself into another program. Before I could fill out the paper work, one of the mentors stopped me and said that I couldn't and that I would be 'Double Dipping'... so I was like "whatever... oh by the way, how come my pay was only $399" lol Jumped right into it, I kinda sounded selfish in my opinion... kinda like "OMFG GIMME MEH MONEYZ" but hey, I gotta live right? lol
They told me that I'd be paid the rest of it on the 30th so at least now my mind is at ease.
But I woke up at 8am for nothing, today lol

OH! Before I forget, my mother and I got a coffee on the way home, she got a large coffee and I got an Iced Cappachino. I was like "Mmmmm small iced cappachino."
When we got home, I handed my cappachino to my mother to hold while I opened the door. She walked up the stairs while I was pulling the key out of the door. Then I hear my mother screaming bloody murder. "AHHHH" I thought she just broke her leg or something. I run up the stairs and ask what's wrong. Then she says she spilt my cappachino on our nice, fairly-new swade couch. (The same couch my mother is so anal over. If you aren't sitting on it properly, she'll call you on it) "Get a towel! I spilt your fucking cappachino on the fucking couch!" so I run and get a towel while hearing "FUCK! FUCK!" and run back to her, watching her dab the couch. I asked what happened and she said "The fucking lid wasn't even on right! Stupid bitches!!" which means she was carrying my cap by the lid.
I swear to god, this cappachino went EVERYWHERE! It got on the couch, power bar for our laptop adapters, the carpet, the small table beside the couch. EVERYWHERE!
After my mom and I cleaned it up, the room was silent, I knew she was mad. What did I do? I burst out laughing and surprisingly she started laughing too.
This became the joke of the day for us lol And as I'm typing this, I'm laughing so hard, my eyes are watering, and my mom is laughing too :3

Well my birthday has come and gone as quickly as it came lol Yesterday was a lazying around day and today was when I had my birthday dinner and my cake :3

I had the best dinner ever. My grandmothers homemade Perogies (Which she only makes once a year!) If you don't know what those are, they are a Polish food that's doh wrapped around cheese and potato. So it was awesome :3

And YES my cake was from Dairy Queen :3 Nice icecream cake (It's a tradition) and I looked at a rainbow colored cake with happy faces OR the one I got >:3 TRANSFORMERS~!

(For once lol)

YEAH I got a call yesterday from the YMCA saying that they wanted to see me for another program that's kinda like the internship but it's not for government jobs :3

It's called the Youth and Transition program or something. It's where I go for a three week 'assessment' (which is a paid thing) then after that, they 'bribe' employers with an amount in exchange for hiring me :3

So I met up with a woman today and we were chatting and having a good time while filling out some paper work and all that.

We have our first meeting on Monday at 10 a.m. :3

So YAY!

I just got home from seeing the Watchmen today!
And yes, you're about to get a huge explanation of what happened :3

Okay! So we got there at around 3:30 and hand the cashier our 'curtesy tickets' that we got from when The Spirit malfunctioned.
So we left the theater since we had an hour or so to kill before the movie. Why did we do this? Because we needed time to grab the seat we wanted lol
We walked, in the pouring rain, to Indigo's book store and bummed around there for a while then walked back getting more soaked lol

We walked inside just in time to see the people in our theater leave so that meant all we had to do was wait until the ushers cleaned up. So it was a small wait, with about 20 other people and I didn't stand in the lineup xD There was no way lol I wanted my seat so I wanted in first XD Until I started gathering people into a line behind me! I turned around and said "Yay! Someone lined up behind me~ yay for my line!" Then I recognized the girl and the guy from somewhere but I didn't want to say out loud. I waited until we walked into the theater and picked our seats until I said "Do they look familiar?" and I found out they were the same couple I met when The Spirit malfunctioned! I was like "SWEET! If we catch them after the show, I'll say something"

Little did we know, halfway through the movie, the picture just died and turned black before a loud siren and bright lights come on. The fire alarm. So with some hesitation, we all stood up and walked out of the show and stood around because we weren't told anything. We had no idea what was going on and the Ushers didn't even know what to do, calling each other back and forth on the walkie-talkies until I found the couple again and walked up to them. I talked with them for a little bit before I said "curtesy ticket again! Just like the Spirit!" And they were like "YEAH! How weird is that!"
It was awesome lol

We didn't take the fire alarm seriously until the managers voice came and told us all to evacuate. Most listened, including me so we went outside in the pouring rain for about 15 minutes before we went back inside and then waited until we were let back in the movie. Of course, it was PITCH black when we walked in, they didn't turn any lights on. We all had to use cellphones just to light our ways lol
So sitting down in the pitch dark, some jerk used his cellphone and everyone could hear his conversation while laughing at his stupidity.
It must have been a little over 30 minutes until the movies suddenly came on in a burst of green XD

Anyway the movie kept going and everytime Dr. Manhattan came on and his penis was swinging around, I had to let out a little giggle XD Childish, yes, but it was still funny. Come on... a blue dick?

The movie came out A LOT better then what I thought it was going to be even though THEY CUT OUT MY FAVORITE RORSCHACH LINES!!! It got me SO MAD!

Adrian is a dick and likes little boys.. YEAH no lies. While snooping through his computer logs... there's a file that says "boys". Did anyone else catch that?! I was like "O.O THAT'S BAD!"

What else.. oh Comedian is a dick lol

And I almost cried when Rorschach died... my eyes were filling with tears

After the movie was done, we walked out, got our curtesy tickets then saw the HUGE lineup for the upcoming Watchmen showing. Oh... my god. There must have been like 100 people waiting and since my movie was delayed because of the fire alarm, they had to wait a while. While waiting for my friend to pee, people were asking me how it was and I gave my opinion and told them why they were waiting so long for us to get out.

I ran around to the ushers and were asking them if they had any buttons or posters left but they said there was nothing left until one of the lady ushers said "I have this one poster left, I didn't really want it. Do you?" and she pulled it out, me wishing it was Rorschach but to my sadness, it was the Comedian LOL but I was like "SURE I'll take it! Thank you" and trotted away lol Hey, it was free XD

So that's it! I gotta say it was a great movie and to all that hated it... you're either nuts (Because it had more dialogue then unnecessary gruesome violence) or you didn't read the comic before watching it (Thus, I dub you as a loser XD)

....Well I won't dick around and tell you that I...

Failed.

That's right... I didn't get my internship like I thought I would. I was in the top 3 for both of my interviews and was told I did very well in the whole process.
I got some positive feedback like I was "Well spoken, demonstrated teamwork and my abilities, well prepared" etc.

But it all boils down to... a failure. I tried for nothing.

Without my internship, I will have no money coming in...thus I will be out on the streets soon if I don't find a job or my mom doesn't find a job.

That means, in a move of desperation, I will be opening commissions in a few days to see if anyone would be interested.

Thank you for your support but I guess I wasn't good enough :sigh:
