I haven't posted a journal in forever... I know... but here's pretty much my last month.


So, our school did a production of Thoroughly Modern Millie, which went very well!! I played the role of Bun Foo... yes... I did.
I was a Chinese role, and I had to speak Mandarin the entire play up until the end. And I had to wear an incredibly racist wig.

Then, the day after the final show it was my Birthday!!!

THAT'S RIGHT BITCHES I'M 16!!!

I took and out to this amazing Hibachi restaurant called Kon. It was so good!!

Then, not much has happened since then until this week. It was Thanksgiving, and my family decided to go out to save my grandmother the work this year.

Bad. Idea.

It was a buffet that this Italian restaurant was having... but the food wasn't that great. And after, we were sitting there for over an hour doing nothing. My dad and I left and met everyone back at my grandparent's house.

And to get there, my mom and I took a 6:00 AM bus to Boston, and then a train to Connecticut. My dad went down a couple days earlier to help my grandfather with housework, so my mom and I went Thanksgiving morning. It would've been really, really fun, except the fact that I got up at 3:30 in the morning.

Yeah.

But on Black Friday I got Lady Gaga's "The Fame Monster."

This album rocks my life!! Seriously, it's beyond amazing!

And I got back today... things were going fine, but around 7:00 I tripped over my home laptop cord and it fell. Nothing bad, only a couple feet. (It happened the other day, it was fine.) But of course, today, the LCD screen cracks. So, now I have to like buy a new one and put it on or have someone do it for me because I know that if I broke it, I can't fix it. At least it wasn't my school laptop. That wouldn't end well.


So yeah. Everything has been going great except for a few things on a few days... but not too bad.

Omg, it was so awesome. The Funhouse Tour is sorta like Britney's Circus, but 1/4 the size. It's so amazing though!!!

She did all my favorite songs except for Stupid Girls, but oh well. It was great though, she talked with the crowd and was really personable. She's also like the funniest chick I've ever seen

It's called "Silent Night" and is loosely based off of RENT. And when I say loosely, I mean loosely. There's not lesbian love affairs, trannys, or anything to do with paying rent, but it does take place in NYC at Christmastime.

And tonight, I just wrote, like, the most inspirational musical song I could have possibly written. It's called "All I Know" and is about leaving your past behind and embracing your unknown future.

It's really cool, and I want to write this by next summer.

I've been to a lot of awesome shows, and even though there was no mosh-pit, this was hands down, the BEST SHOW I'VE EVER SEEN!

Britney looked amazing, she danced really well, and I could hear her singing live a lot!

So here's the story.

I had to leave really early, like 12:30 in the afternoon because we had to take the train (since there was a hurricane outside.) The train left at three, and we were running later than we wanted to (my dad and I). My mom called every five minutes in a panic for some reason because she thought we'd miss the train and I started to get really annoyed. So, in my rage and in my hurry, I slammed my middle finger in the car door.

IT HURT LIKE A BITCH!!!

But I just thought it was pain, but of course, there was blood I didn't see, and I got really nervous because I was going to this huge show and it (again) HURT LIKE A BITCH!

So, I went into the train station and went and washed it off in the bathroom, and held a paper towel to it to control the bleeding, then left the bathroom and sat on a terminal chair. All of a sudden (and I've never had this happen to me, EVER!) my stomach starts to hurt, like I'd swallowed something toxic, my head started hurting, I lost my vision and then started to go into cold sweats... it was the scariest moment of my life. I had to get water, so I limped and felt my way over to the water fountain, and that helped and I regained vision. Then my dad found someone for a first aid kit and he patched me up. I felt ok... then it all happened again, only worse. This time I was on my way to get more water, and I just buckled and walked into the wall, and barely made it.

I told my dad that I needed something in my stomach (since all I'd had to eat that day was an eggroll. I thought we'd be leaving at like 5:00, so I didn't bother eating a big lunch because I thought I'd eat dinner before we left, but NO.) so my dad got me some kind of granola bar and that made me feel better instantly. I was able to walk, see, my sweating stopped (thank GOD) and we just made the train. I slept the whole way to Boston, but I felt better after I had some water and food on the train.

So, we bought Tylenol in the station in Boston, and that helped the pain pretty much instantly (Gotta love Rapid-Release painkillers!) and it helped the entire concert. But first we went to get dinner. We went to a place I'd seen on TV called Hurricane Bar & Grill. It looked good on TV, but I guess that's just the magic of television. The place looked cool, with lighting and club music, but this pulled-pork sandwich I got was disgusting. Borderline repulsive. It was soggy because they didn't toast the roll, the pork was chewy and soft and there was no extra sauce on top, while the sauce they cooked it in was too sweet.

I'm never getting that again there, ever.

So we returned to the TD Garden in Boston after walking around a bit, and stood in line outside.

Ok, there were two creepy gay guys behind us eating cheesecake, and they were singing Beyonce songs (Pat yo weave! Pat yo weave!)... very strange, but that's Boston for you. This was like my 7th time being in Boston so I'm used to it.

When we got in, Kristinia DeBarge sang her stupid songs "Goodbye" and "Future Love" (both of which she ripped off), then some really bad boy band named One Call came on, then Jordin Sparks.

Oh Jordin Sparks... awful. She sucked so bad!

Then, the main event: THE CIRCUS. (If you don't care about reading the whole show, just skip)

First, they had a real circus performing stunts, which was awesome! The Big Apple Circus from NYC...

She came down from the ceiling in a NEW OUTFIT, that was really cool for Circus. She took off this black trenchcoat to reveal the gold corset that they took away after her wardrobe malfunction in Miami where she told her dancers: "MY PUSSY IS HANGING OUT!" but she didn't know that her microphone was still on... but yeah, they revamped the outfit and she looked awesome. And then "Piece of Me, then Radar, Me Against the Music, Slave, Everytime," etc...

My favorite part of the show, however is Act 3, the Freakshow and Peepshow. She performs "Freakshow" in this black corset with this big black poofy dress thing on the back, then she goes into "Get Naked (I Got A Plan) which has an amazing routine. Then, there's a segues called Britney's Hotline, where her dancers bring a guy from the audience to sit on a couch while Brintey performs "Breathe On Me" in the giant picture frames the float above the stage. -I start tap dancing lessons later in August (oh joy oh bliss) for our upcoming musical, "Thoroughly Modern Millie."

Wow, so it's been a while since I've updated my journal with anything meaningful, so yeah here it goes.


1. School has been so busy. Like, extremely busy. Let's name off all the events.

So, I had the trumpet solo in the band concert in Gustav Holst's "Second Suite in F-March." This isn't me playing, but this is what I HAD to play:[link]
In that video, the trumpet solo in the first song is what I had to play (AHH), and the trumpet solo in the second song I had to play as well.
I sang in the chorus concert... not too bad, but still another night performing. I marched in the Memorial Day parade for both towns of our school district. I played "Taps" at both ceremonies. The second ceremony is usually shorter, but no, this was half an hour. It was long and boring and I couldn't even hear the guy speak and he was using a mic, so that's annoyingly quiet. I don't care if he was 90.

I had a minor role in our school's "Bull in a China Shop" production. Look it up...
4 shows and still going strong.

Then I had to do this annoying Spanish project... an autobiography. I thought it would be easy, but it took like total 30 hours!

And I'm so annoyed. Chamber Choir was cut this year because people had commitment issues!!! F. I worked my butt off and stressed to get in, but no it's canceled. SOAB!!!!!

2. Social Life

I've become a raging fan of mosh pits. I think they are the single greatest invention in the history of the world. Forget penicillin, forget the combustion engine, and who has the time to read anymore? Jump into a mosh pit and live.
Everyone gets mad at when I said that I pushed a girl over in one before... SHE WAS ELBOWING ME IN THE RIB WHAT WAS I SUPPOSED TO DO?!?! I'm not gonna go up to her and say "Hi there, continue elbowing me in the ribs, it HURTS SO GOOD!" No, we're in a mosh pit, you jab me with your elbow, you get shoved. AHH

So, since Red Jumpsuit, I've gotten to see Sparks the Rescue (local Maine band that kicks some serious butt!) twice, and All Time Low. I love All Time Low... but Sparks is my new favorite band. Seriously, check them out:[link]
They're amazing.

And I'm going to see P!nk on October 2nd!!! In Boston. What can be better than seeing one of your favorite singers in one of the best cities in the world? I really don't know.

I no longer like the girl in all of my poems. Long story short: Boy hears song, falls in love. Boy likes song, sings it for Theatre audition, and boy gets principle role. Boy hears song, gets denied. Boy hears song, falls out of love. Boy waltzes to song at One Act festival.
Let's just say, the song "Broken" by Seether is very, very, bittersweet for me.

There's a bunch of personal drama going on, but I'm not going to go on about that. There's really no need to. This is a happy journal.

3. deviantART.

So, starting probably this week and this weekend, I'm going through my gallery and deleting what I don't like anymore. I want to move everything to scraps, but I don't know how. Since they messed around with dA, I now have to edit my deviations to "no category" instead of just clicking "move to scraps." It's very annoying. So if anyone knows another easy way to do that, let me know.

Well, first: Happy St. Patrick's Day!!!!

It's the one day of the year I can embrace me native Irish heritage...

Anyway, so yes, I am working on a new album! It's due out for Easter Sunday, but to send out a disclaimer: it really has nothing to do with the actual Biblical Easter. It's called "Joy" and is all in MAJOR KEYS! I know, it's me, how is this possible. Well, lately I've been stuck in major keys, so I'm using them to my advantage... in preparation for All Hallows' Eve and Snowfall... both dark albums.

I've decided I officially hate Science class. Enough said.

Auditions for the Spring Play went well, I am the fingerprint detective. It's called Bull in a China Shop. Look it up, I'm tired.

Saturday I will be seeing the US Army Field Band and Soldiers' Chorus and I'm very excited!! It's going to be so awesome! What's even better is I'm going with a bunch of people from Band and School. It's a free field trip, too... why not go? It's something to do on a Saturday night.

I am officially addicted to Facebook. Like seriously... if you wanna be friends, look up Alan Bennett... gangsta' hat photo, it's me. It's an MPEG-4, that's why. iTunes high quality format just isn't good enough. Figures. So, now I need to convert them to an AIF or some other low quality thing.

And, I know I haven't uploaded any art in a looooonnnnnnngggggg time, so just be patient. I'm sure something in the coming week will piss me off enough to get a poem up here somewhere.

Ok, so I was just listening to the song "Somebody's Watching Me" by Mysto and Pizzi. I had my TV on mute, and VH1 was showing a recap of the top 20 music videos of the week. They were showing a clip of P!nk's song "Sober" (which is a creepy video anyway) and in the part that they used, her mouth movements matched with the song "Somebody's Watching Me."

Random,creepy, and cool. All at the same time.

(especially during the upcoming Valentine's Day week.)

DON'T CLICK ON ANY LINK!

It will log you out of your account automatically. Then, the 'login' page will appear, but it's a fake login page. If you enter your username and password to sign back in: Congratulations! You just handed over your account to some psycho hacker.

Then, (OH YEAH. IT GETS BETTER.), that person will send a mass comment to various people under your account with similar links furthering the chaos.

The same is happening on FaceBook... only FaceBook's case is so severe that it's actually called 'the FaceBook virus' and it's all to do with people sending videos. These two viruses/hacker related viruses and phishing were listed on AOL's top 15 Computer Viruses... so it's pretty serious.

Never click on a link from someone you don't know!!! Or, until this madness slows, someone you do know, because you don't know if it's your actually friend or a hacker.

I've gotten some of those messages. As tempting as it is, don't click!

I don't like the new layout. It's just cluttered. It doesn't look like deviantART! I liked the way dA looked when I joined. It's since changed twice and it's annoying me.

I held the Grande Masquerade, and I have to say, not to brag, but it went off without a hitch! It was so amazing!!!

So, I think I already said this... but I got into the Gray-New Gloucester Chamber Singers!!! I'm so happy, and it's especially great because this year I've realized I love to sing, and I'm not as bad as I always thought. I also pretty much carry the weight of my section in the half of chorus that I'm in... so I guess I need to be good. And I'm happy since Chamber Choir starts tomorrow!!!

I saw the Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, and they were amazing! When "Your Guardian Angel" came on... oh my God I like turned to goo inside, it was just beautiful!!! I also bought a shirt and the singer signed it!! And it hasn't washed off yet, so I'm in luck. But, I do like the opening act Sparks the Rescue a lot, though... they're really fun to hang out with after they leave stage, and are so awesome and sweet. They will do anything. I got them to sign my shoes. How awesome is that? But now I need new shoes... Toby signed my shoes, I can't wear them much anymore! The writing is already fading!

After that was basically just Christmas and New Years... nothing too exciting there, except for my piano!!! Yamaha Upright Digital, it's beautiful. I would marry it if I could... well, not really, but you know what I mean... or not. But oh well! And it's really great because my lessons start Wedensday!! I'm not exactly the typical beginner, but I'll find out how things go this week. I heard my teacher isn't bad, so I hope for the best. 'Specially since it got pushed back a week because of snow. It's Maine for God's Sake.

Forgive me father for I have sinned. (There's just something inside of me that... I can't hold back any longer... JK! ) Yeah random...

And, we're up to uh... now! English sucks. I just finished hand writing my essay that I typed to make it easier... it's so annoying. I better get an A on this essay. I had a mental breakdown after English one day. I cant stand talking about how friggin evil man is naturally and that we've made everything bad... I'm sorry, I don' think we're evil, but to make it easier I agreed for my essay.

At least I have some of my pep back. 8th grade was the worst, but at least a bunch of people made it happy. I'm finally back to my normal 50/50 ratio of 'happy' and pissed off.


I feel like an idiot half the time. The way I type things, I have the words playing in my head and how I would say them in a conversation, with my naturally deep yet sarcastic voice... I never know if people actually sense my enthusiasm or my personality if I don't use an exclamation point... maybe it's because I like to laugh and make laughter, so I use sarcasm to get my point across...? That'll be helpful in life.

OMG I JUST DID IT AGAIN! So when you read my journals, just imagine someone like... Brian from family guy... or Jerry Seinfeld... or Dane Cook... they're similar to how I talk.

I want to thank you all for making my first year on here an amazing one... I don't know what I would've done had I not joined this website. I wouldn't have started doing manipulations, (Iwouldn't even know what they were, to be honest,) I wouldn't have the will to draw, I probably would've never picked up a camera (which I am very happy I did ) I would have a ton of poems that wouldn't be appreciated and would be sitting in a drawer... so thank you all for being there!

Ok, so I am planning on auditioning for my school's Chamber Choir either tomorrow or Thursday... and I need your help on what song to sing.

I am a Bass/Baritone, and I have narrowed it down to these three songs:

A) Broken by Seether
B) How You Remind Me by Nickelback
C) Never Too Late by Three Days Grace

I don't know which one to do... I already sang Broken for Cinderella auditions, and it got me a callback, and then I got the role of the King, a principal character, but I don't want to audition with the same thing twice. But, it did get me a good role and it might potentially get me in the choir, but I have no idea.

So, I am asking you to do this. Between now and Thursday vote here for which one to sing.

It's like a fusion of the old Britney with sort of an 80's and disco edge. And I saw a preview for the music video for the title track "Circus" and it looks really cool... I'm proud of her.

I don't care what ANY of you say... I've liked her since 3rd grade and I think she has talent, regardless of what everyone says.

I like Avril Lavinge, too... what'cha gonna do about it?

I think she's done a great thing with her life... she was heading down a really dangerous road, and she's now back on top. Womanizer was her first #1 hit since "Hit Me Baby One More Time" and that was in 1999... so she turned her life around big time.


I don't know if I'll buy it or wait until Christmas for it... but it comes out this Tuesday, and I don't know if I wanna wait another month...

So, yeah, I can't wait. Just wanted to say.

I have an update on Fallen Angel (remastered). The album was set to drop on November 15th. But, software complications have now pushed it back to November 27th, for a Thanksgiving release.

I am really happy with the results. It sounds great, and a lot better quality than before. In fact, there are 18 songs, which is twice what the original (the unreleased) copy contained. The released copy had 13 tracks, so you guys are getting an extra 5 songs.

I hope that when it's out, you guys will love it.

I'm so happy! Last night I went to see the Plain White T's in concert in a little club, and they were amazing! I liked a few songs before, but I love them now! Like, literally, they're my new favorite band. I went with and . I also made best friends with a local band that was one of the opening acts called Sparks the Rescue. Valerian and Filmmaster were too lazy and (WIMPY!) to go get their posters signed, so I went back and forth 4 times getting autographs from Sparks. One guy asked if I wanted all three posters signed and I said 'yeah for my friends' and asked where they were and I pointed, so he started waving to Filmmaster and Valerian, it was so hilarious.

The Plain White T's were really, really, great live. I think better live than on CD. They were really fun with the crowd, too. They were throwing Halloween candy at us!


And, today, I got P!nk's new album Funhouse. It's really great! It's not as upbeat as her previous stuff, and a little more ballad, but it's still really great.
