My most popular image is a contrast altered shot of stencil art under a bridge ( [link] ). My designs get the occasional look, but whilst being the stuff some close friends like the most, they don't get as much attention as photos I took randomly and edited in few short minutes each time, ha!

The evolution of what has been put up thus far is apparent, though there has been little to no real progression for the past year in either photography or 'designs'. The last time a design posted was exactly one year ago. For this reason, I am uploading one design today. It is nothing particularly new or different, just something to add.

I think I've focused on writing over the past year or so far more than I have on any visual work. The written word should fear my shoddyness.

Firstly, the recent deviations - where do they come from?

---> These deviations are result of me trying to experiment with idea for my 'Photomedia and Artisitc Practice' unit at uni. Testing ideas of Pictorialism, still life, abstraction and all the like.

Hopefully after this semester my folio will finally look half way decent

Now as to writing --> lecturer at uni took a look at two stories I wrote since the middle of last year. He had plenty of good things to say about both, even going as far as saying one was ground work on a decent novel... me a novelist? um...

It may not look like much of a change, but now more than half of my overall degree is writing based. What does this mean?

My 42 deviations have been viewed 743 times. . . thats not including all the ones I removed, be somewhere over 1000 most likely if I had kept some of those random deviations.

All I can say is, either I don't contribute enough to this little community or my work just doesn't cut it - cos really, if it was worth taking notice of, wouldnt more than 3 people watch me? Wouldn't my deviations be viewed more? Wouldn't people actually favourite my work more?

Yeesh all I can do is complain, ah well...

I've lost it, only so much you can do with the relatively surrealist approach.. which seems to be how I approached my designs.

No inspiration left them anymore, no new developments or ideas... so i dont see any point in trying anymore, or at least not for a long time.

1 - I chew on things... a lot, random bits of plastic usually....

2 - I constantly reset playcounts for songs on Itunes... to have perfect list of most played songs... despite fact no one other than me ever sees the list...

3 - I am utterly imcapable of sleeping past 8:30am... gone to sleep anywhere from 10pm to 1am... and still woken up by 8:30am and not been able to get back to sleep..

4 - I always avoid looking at my own reflection... only look at it when it is absolutely necessary or unavoidable... like when getting haircut.

5 - I bark at my dog...

6 - When i had a german shepard... i would wear hooded jumper and let it drag me around my backyard by the hood of jumper.
