Mom's boyfriend's brother gave me some stuff for art.

It's so awesome.

Prisma markers and colored pencils, art pencils, kneadable eraser, new inking pens, photo blue drawing pencils, and charcoal sticks, among other things.

All I need is the special pencil sharpener for my prisma colored pencils, and I'll be good to go!~

JUST IN TIME FOR MY CHRISTMAS PRESENTS YAY.

I also just got a buncha new music, which means more fuel for my imagination/inspiration.

Yeah, my computer got infested with viruses, and so we took it to this one man that a family friend knew personally, and he wiped everthing off it. The computer's running fairly smoothly and much more quickly than before, but the only problem? The computer doesn't recognize the printer for some reason. :/ We re-installed the software for it and everything, but the compy still refuses to recognize the printer. And since the scanner is part of the printer, I'm royally screwed. @___@
I could take pictures of my art to post it up here, but my camera doesn't like my art too much. XP
At any rate, I'll be trying to post more art up in the next couple of weeks, since it's Fall Break for me. If taking pictures is what I have to do, then so be it. -sigh- Ah well, it's not the end of the world! Haha. And my skills have started to improve (somewhat), so that's always a plus. :]

I tend to procrastinate, so I'm not exactly sure how long it would actually take if I just sat down and started drawing 'till the peice was done.

Depends on what mood I'm trying to express in the peice. Usually music is the thing that inspires me to draw in the first place.

They run through my head constantly, but I always forget to write them down. I NEED POST-ITS. DX

Pencils, colored pencils.

My favorite color is actually hot pink, but I don't think that it shows up in alot of my art. ;; The color that I use alot is. . .pencil gray? XD

Weeell. ..I've been drawing Alphonse alot lately, and have been working on his hair and whatnot. Ya know, making it realistic, so that it doesn't defy gravity as much. 8 D Anatomy is still just out of my grasp, but I'm getting there. . .
So, basically life is just really. . . meh. I lost my iPod at Rubio's, and am tired of being tested on whatever it is my teachers have been trying to teach me all year. - ^- But hey, summer's almost here! More time for doing fun stuff, yaaaaaay!~ <3
Although I have lost my iPod, I've stumbled across alot of new music lately. One artist in particular is Jake Shimabukuro, the best ukulele artist I have ever heard. (Not that I've heard alot of ukulele artists before, but w/e. -shrug-) I mean serisouly, this guy is AMAZING. My favorite song by him is "Close To You". In fact, it inspired me to draw this cute lil' pic of Phonsey. . .I haven't uploaded it yet because it's basically a rough sketch that I spent too much time on. x];; Some other great songs are "6 in The Morning" and "While My Guitar Gently Weeps". Go have a listen; you'll be surprised.
As for my other OC. . . I've decided that her name should be Stephanie Candice. She doesn't have a last name yet, but she goes by "Candi". :3 I need to draw her moar. Her anatomy is off, too. XD;

Matthew was tied to a split-rail fence where he was beaten and left to die in the cold of the night. Almost 18 hours later he was found by a cyclist who initially mistook him for a scarecrow. Matthew died on October 12 at 12:53 am at a hospital in Fort Collins, Colorado. MURDERED BECAUSE HE WAS GAY!!!

(Actually, I just came back from three days of Disneyland, and boy, do my legs HURT. D: )
But, I can actually say that it was worth the pain! (Prepare yourself for a random rambling . . .!)
I think the guy in the Mickey costume in the parade today was on something. o__o
At the end of the parade, there was this big castle-float-thing with two floors, and Mickey and Minnie were at the top part of the castle on a little patio kinda thing, waving at everyone. Well, as the float was passing by, Mickey turns around, pretends to slide down the side of the wall and in desperation holds his hand out to me like "NOOOO! DON'T GOOOO!! TAKE ME WITH YOUUUU!!!! TT~TT"
It was freaking HILARIOUS. XDDDDD
So, yeah.

Now, I can say that my sudden rush of fandom for Nellie Melton's characters has come to an end! -phew- x_____x;;

So, I'm in the middle of a drawing revolution, if you will. Trying out new styles of drawing, shading and what not. I've also been pretty busy with school and stuffs. I don't want to get a C- in Algebra again. D:
