I am reaching out to my friends and fellow photographers and asking for your prayers and positive thoughts.

About a month ago I started to have some really bad headaches, to make a long story story short after a series of tests and scans I have been diagnosed with a brain tumor specifivally on my pituatary gland.

The pituitary is a pea-sized organ in the center of the brain above the back of the nose. It makes hormones that affect other glands and many body functions. Most pituitary tumors are benign (not cancer). My tumor is about the size of a golf ball.

The hard thing is my tumor is causing constant headaches and some vision loss, so I have opted to have surgery to have it removed because I am no loger allowed to drive my car or work at my day job. My surgery is scheduled for next Thursday April 19th.

I am asking for your prayers and positive thoughts during my surgery and after care, recovery time is 4 to 6 weeks post surgery. I apologize for the depressing story but I really need support right now, thanks for taking the time to listen.

I bought a Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8L USM for portrait work and a Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8L USM for better sports photography. I am amazed at the difference an 'L' lense makes in your photos.

A big first for me today, some of my work is now part of a Gallery in downtown Cleveland, Ohio in Tower City. It's called "Lake Erie Artists". I am mainly selling Cleveland based artwork (skylines, waterfront pictures, etc.) to start, but as soon as I get more cash from matting and framing I am going to bring in some of my more creative stuff. If your ever in the Cleveland area, stop by and wish me luck!
