I would like to say goodbye to this account. From now on, nothing new shall be posted

Anyway, this is not the current topic. I bought an e-book reader. It's the Hanlin V3, re-branded as Koobe in Hungary. It was a bit costy, 87000 Forints (about 480 USD), but it's sure fun. As for I have hundreds of e-books and my eyes were on the werge of boiling due to them being read on the PC monitor, it's a great relief for me.

I know that there are many models available in the West, so it's more easy for most of you guys. As I was watching a cooking show yesterday on TV, I saw an Australian chef baking chocolate chip cookies. It looked so easy, and I said to myself: "If a 'Strayan can do it, I can do it".

So, I Googled a good recipe, took a trip to the local Spar, bought all the ingrediants (and baking paper. I was half-dead scared that the thing catches fire in the oven, but it did not).

Every now and then, I find myself collecting information regarding the so-called cultural generations, which usually correspond to biological generations. I have not tead Strauss and Howe's book yet but I really want to.

Anyway, I was confused for quite a long time on which generation I belong to. Being born in 1986, I am too young to be a Gen X-er, but also a bit old to be a true Gen Y-er. And then, I found this really interesting phenomenon called "Cold Y generation".

Could you please help me with my computer troubles? I'm using the firewall app ZoneAlarm Pro. When I start up my PC, it takes up to 10 minutes to load ZoneAlarm. No other applications, not even Windows olders could be opened during that time.
My computer's specifications are the following: Intel Pantium D 3,4 GHz, 3GB DDR2 RAM, Windows XP SP2.

I have just finished reading the "His Dark Materials" trilogy. I was thrilled, amazed, I laughed and cried with the characters. I literally cried at the last two chapters of the third book, "The Amber Spyglass".

As much as the Knight Rider community is shocked or at least amused by the introduction of the new Kitt, let us try to remain objective.

Let's face it, Knight Rider is 25 years old. It's a long time. Many things could happen during 25 years. The two world wars together were as not long as 25 years. 25 years ago the Trans Am was a good car. It looked badass, it had a certain character. The show gave it a new dimension, making Kitt a character of his own. With the wittiness of William Daniels, we fondly remember our good old Kitt.
