Blegh. So I failed NaNoWriMo. I didn't even try. Work was really busy in November & the one day I didn't show everyone was surprised.

Ghosts are staring at me from the hallways. I'm sick of it.

I also figured out my major & what I want to see myself doing for the rest of my life, and I'm scared shitless. I've been all talk but now, now I'm really going to do something.

Was going to take theatrical playwriting in the winter but decided against it. so now im writing, fueled by some shit im not gonna talk about, and came up with this nutty little number:

She bit down on her lip with sharp, thin teeth til the skin pucntured and burst open with salty blood. Her white teeth were now smeared in transparent sheets of red; her tongue was the vessel in a miniscule, flowing version of the Red Sea, and she smiled at the boy who hated her and her guts and all she was. She smiled at him until his swelling anger swung forth the balled up fist propelled by two arms too skinny to be strong, crashing like a ship into her nasal area and bursting millions of miniscule veins. This was love.

It was going to be an intro to that novel I was going to try and write in November, but we'll see. I think I can make something of this, I just got to clean off the edges a little and get some sleep.

I accidentally deleted hours' worth of work on my research paper today, and it's due tomorrow (12 hours and 3 minutes from now, to be exact.) I haven't retyped it yet, and I'm really tempted not to. My body feels like crap and my spirits are crap.

This is why I never really work hard on anything. Not to sound emo or whatever, but what's the point? That paper was pretty darn near complete. I just needed to write a conclusion, then edit the whole damn thing, properly placing reference numbers where they belong.

Fuck. I have to go find all the refs again, too.

Yesterday we went to Pasadena with some free passes from the "Dump the Pump" day promotions... and it took FOREVER. So long that the bus drivers get changed halfway through the trip. But the drivers seemed pretty happy with the passes... last time we had a coupon for a free ride the drivers took them with a slight flicnh in their eye.

'Twas to write a lot more here, but alas the time is near noon and the heat eats me before me time.

3rd post-- a REAL post

Alright so I kept thinking about it all day and I've come to the conclusion that the last post wasn't a real post. Quizzes shouldn't count as posts. They're too easy. But everyone I tagged is still officially tagged XD.

Today has, so far, been full of cleaning. When I don't have school I have to clean. Otherwise, M and D get mad and complain that the house is too dirty. But then they also complain that I work too hard. What's wrong with this picture? Am I missing the fine print?

We're supposed to get pumpkins today, when we go to get M, and I can already smell the pumpkin guts and feel their slimyness gush like chunky cookie dough between my fingers. Yeah! Now I can eat those roasted pumkpin seeds-- aborted little lifepods with a crunchy coat of salt-- between classes and spit the mangled outer shell on the floor like the Mexican men in plaid and the black women with their long, tiger-striped acrylics at the bus stop in the morning.

Now, when I get out of class and E. asks if I've got a headache I can say no.

I'm supposed to be practicing some exercises for class but I'm both addicted to the computer and washing the laundry that wasn't done this past weekend because of time constraints... besides, there's always time for that stuff later

Important news flash: Mitch said yes!

And no, we're not getting married, we're doing the NaNoWriMo thing together! This should be frustratingly fun, so expect something about that starting on Saturday.

The club was going to have this movie night with Dopo Mezzanotte and they had posters up all over campus. Someone said that they thought it was a gay loce story 'cause the two on the poster looked like guys even though it was just that the girl had short hair... and Jair, the guy putting up the poster got mad and said that he marked the little sex symbols next to the acot's heads so that people wouldn't have that idea. It just sounded funny the way he put it.

Making summers not so hot would be a definite plus. I'd like to have children raised in such a manner that they don't become little f'heads like their parents. I think I'd like everyone to be happy or at least not so mean... positivity is the key. I think I'd prolly take away a lot of social programs not to punish people, but to make them more independent. The government isn't your babysitter. It's your friend, and you can't always expect supported by it...

It'll be good for both of us; he's working on a comic book called Circus Anomalous and I'm working on writing again in general. (Yep-- used to be a big writer back in the day .)

L'altro ieri anch'io joined Brickfish ([link]). It's mainly for the contests as I am in dire need of an income and haven't been able to get a job. Don't think I'll actually get anything, but it's good to try, right? (Besides, it involves photography!!!!!!)

Halloween n' stuff...

So for English we got to watch Harold and Maude.

I'm starting to like my teacher. She's weird and sometimes I think a little crazy, but she's got good taste (Tim O'Brien? Tim Burton? Harold and Maude? cannibilism? the issue of sex and war? heck yessss).

Well, that and her class is an easy one. Maybe 'cause it's that I already enjoying readying and stuff, but yeah... the 'A+' on my first major paper will nicely balance out my 'C' in Italian.

And, the writing prompts are fun: 'retend that you are the President of the United States and you must assure the American citizens that the country is not on the verge of a depression, that Wall Street will recover, and that banks are stable. You don't have to be an economic expert (*sweat of relief*), but you have to sound positive and sophisticated. Use lots of adjectives and adverbs.' (LOL! It was fun. She said best speech gets 25 extra points...)

Alright, so onto Halloween.

It's my favorite holiday of the year (Christmas got too commercial and Thanksgiving makes me fat x.x... and I'm not selfish enough to declare my birthday a holiday!), but I don't feel so excited this year... blah. Anyhoot I'm supposed to dress up like Angela from The Office (mitchelhunt being dwight and KEK244 being phyllis), but since I have to got to school on halloween i'm trying to think of something else to dress up as. I'm thinking Mod. (Or Maude... haha!)

Just been busy...

Okay, so not that busy, but yeah... dA's changing everythime I log on. It's like a child who can't sit still.

And sometimes, that bugs the hell outta me.

So what have you guys been up to? I know that most of you probably won't even read this, so the one who does gets... a golden cookie? Nah, no golden cookie. That's so yesterday, and besides, would you rather have a warm, yummy cookie, or some hunk of valuable metal? Right. So I graduated from the hell hole that was HS and went straight to college. So much for that break I was dreaming of... So, to get revenge, I'm only taking a few classes right now (mwahaha!)(laugh with me, dammnit!). Don't take so much pics like I used to.

The weather isn't bad right now. It's cloudy and not eighty degrees, but then again it's only nine in the morning.

I started a new school. It's a little different, but more on that later.

My friend Sibylle got a DD. I'm so happy for her!

So today is supposed to be the luckiest day of the year.

July 7th, 2007-- 7-7-07

Honestly people! They're just numbers, for crying out loud!

Someone, somewhere is making a ton of money today. It's supposed to be the most popular day for weddings in history. In history!

Well, in short I've been busy. A couple more weeks and I'm out I found out my cousin might come to stay with us for while he goes and visits some relatives on the West Coast. I'm super excited! I haven't seen him for years and now he's got a new baby- a daughter- and I can't wait to meet her. Children are so cute.

We went to the Winchester House. That was awesome! All the crazy stairs and windows and stuff. It was really neat. But I'm still wondering if the bathrooms really did have glass windows on the doors, or if they were installed later, after the lady died. Pa said they were original but I don't believe him. I wanted to ask our tour guide - 'Matthew' - but his gestures and looks throughtout the tour made me rather uncomfortable.

We also went, being the tourists that we are, to the Mystery Spot. That was pretty fun. But, c'mon, if you stand on a slope, then wouldn't you being at an angle anyway? There's no mystery to that, people! But the admission was only five bucks each and we did get a bumper sticker. Plus, my Pa was singled out and watching him being 'icked on' was rather entertaining.

The best part? Across from the Hearst Castle was a memorial beach and dock. We stopped to use the facilities' bathrooms, and then three of us walked out onto the dock. It was about nine or ten at night, so it was dark and covered in fog rolling in from the Pacific Ocean. That was so cool! It was very thick and dark and over the edge of the dock you could see the water, which was calm since we were so far out on the docks and away from the beach. In the far distance you could hear the sound of exploding fireworks, but couldn't see any lights.

That's how I spent my Fourth of July.

I hate summer school. We have to sit in hard and uncomfortable chairs for 'class' twice a week for something like four hours without break and we're expected to turn in work that would, in normal school, take about two weeks to complete for one of our weeks. My principal ought to know better: the whole reason that we're even in that school is that we can't make it to regular school on a regular basis. I really wanted to punch him for making demands he knew that most of us can't meet. So we had some conflicting schedules and thanks largely to a friend's mom's sacrifice we're able to make it to school on time. But, seriously, first you mess up my one big day by making up half of the details and then you make the kids either push for rides or get dropped! Ah! Now I'm just blowing steam off. At least the teacher is more understanding.

And that's where I've been for a while. I'd go into detail about my self-centered aunt and some lunch issues, or my last trip to South Dakota and how many neat-looking bugs I found, but it's too hot here in Pomona. I'm going to try and sleep.
