Been awhile since I've updated this thing. So figuring at this point I feel obliged to do so. So here I am. Been meaning to update this for three days now, and kept putting it off. Not really a lot to say here, so it might be short and I might resort to the usual lyrics as a space filler... To shake things up instead of using a song title for a journal title I used a cd title this time. Speaking of that...

Been spending a lot of time listening to The Haunted lately. Ever since I found out they were still playing a couple of days ago. I honestly thought those guys were broken up. It was a depressing thought. So I was happy to learn they were still making music. They are without question one the most heavy, brutal, aggressive sounding bands I have ever heard in my life. As a matter of fact I'm not sure how I survived without them.

Let's see Christmas is basically here, no I haven't drank myself into a coma yet because of it. Maybe I should, kinda sounds fun... Anyways, figured I should acknowledge the fact and say Merry Christmas to my watchers here. Side note to the politically correct douchebags: Fuck off! I will not say 'Happy holidays.', it's the thought that counts not the words.

I might actually upload something for my watchers, just depends on what I can come up with in the next day or two. Got an idea, we'll see who's been naughty and who's been nice, and put a spin on this: If the majority of my watchers have been naughty I'll upload something. I'll let the nice people go suck up to Santa, and he can worry about them. Although you'd think Santa would worry more about us naughty people. I mean there's a reason we're on his black list... Amass one little anti-Santa arsenal (Okay it was gigantic, and contained tactical nukes...), and plot to make sausages out of one or more of his reindeer and I'm the bad guy... Does not seem fair... _{I totally had fun with that by the way.}

Anyways, I'm done being offensive for the day.

Updates:
I found a new version of Apophysis to use. It's Apophysis 2 7X, I am rather impressed with it. Works so much better than the 2.09 version. To which 2.09 was a large part of the reason I quit uploading. I couldn't really handle 2.09 and all it's bugs. Process with 2.09: Start Apo, pray that it loads, open the editor, pray it opens, then pray that I can make something before it crashed. It wasn't good. In the meanwhile I've had no issues with 7X, and I used it all day. No bugs or glitches so far.

Other updates: Really addicted to the Dropkick Murphys. Celtic punk rock is made of win. Actually been listening to a lot of punk lately in general. Old stuff, not that new garbage. Which leads to confusion. I found myself dumbfounded that for being such an iconic band, the Sex Pistols only did one cd.

Updates: A few of them I think.
Most important one: I think is that today is Remembrance Day in Canada. Or if you live in the U.S. its Veterans Day, it takes on different names in different parts of the world, meaning remains the same. I take this one seriously. It marks the day when World War 1 ended, and now a day to remember and pay respect to veterans, and those who died in service to their respective countries. I've nothing but the utmost respect for these brave men and women. They've more bravery and courage than I can possibly imagine. I do consider them to be heroes. Particularly those that served during the World Wars. They literally saved the world. I can't exactly do much more than this journal to pay respect. So I'll leave it at this, and hope it's good enough.

Final Update: Dragon Age Origins! After following this game for close to 2 years it's finally been released. I gotta say it was well worth the very anxious wait. It's a truly indescribable experience, actually it is probably describable just kinda hard without blowing the plot. Suffice to say very few games have ever, or will ever hit this level of pure epic win. Supposing Baldur's Gate 2 and Neverwinter Nights were on the same level during their time. The story is amazing. I've gone from having my jaw hang open from surprise to laughing out loud over it. Given the ambitiousness and scope of this game, I'm hoping it'll keep me amused until Psych's winter break is over.

Due to the somewhat serious nature of this journal, I'll not be posting any metal or Psych in this one. So I'll apologize to those of you that were looking for it.

Not too much to update here. As the title says this journal is mostly a test for my shiny new CSS which was made for me by =itisme1109 In fact most of this journal is in fact giant thank you. Cause she got me a sub, and made this CSS, and I really can't thank her enough for her kindness and generosity, but you know. I'll try anyway.
As far as updates go, not too many of them. In fact I think that's it. Supposing Halloween was just here like yesterday or something. Not sure. I spent most of it drunk. Started with beer for breakfast and it all went downhill from there. Actually weekend in general was good. Got to watch Warbringer live over the internet Friday night. They put on a good show. Yay for free concerts. They weren't Flogging Molly, not by any means. Still an okay show. Got drunk Saturday, and spent most of the day chatting and watching stupid B horror flicks. Most of them were zombie movies.

Speaking of horror movies. I notice they are remaking some of them. Most notably A Nightmare On Elm Street, and The Evil Dead series.
I could fucking cry over this. Seriously, upon reading about them I wanted to weep openly over a pint.
First A Nightmare On Elm Street. This is a classic slasher movie. A remake is a good idea. I was excited about this. Except they are letting Michael Bay direct it. That alone is enough to make me wanna cry. The only director that would have been a worse choice would have been Peter Jackson. Also A Nightmare On Elm Street without Robert Englund? Really? Whoever decided that was a good idea should be shot... Repeatedly for this. Englund was Krueger. So yeah, this movie has bombed and it's not even released yet. Honestly, kinda like Psych: "No body, no crime Shawn." Except let's edit this: "No Englund, not a worthy remake." Just pissing off fans of the original while flogging a dead cash cow.
And The Evil Dead remake. This showed promise. Sam Raimi is directing it. Which is encouraging, as he was the original director. Except no Bruce Campbell playing Ash. How does that work? And why are they remaking it? It was good the way it was. They hit perfection with the originals. These remakes aren't necessary. I won't be watching either one. Especially the Evil Dead. Army Of Darkness is one of my favorite movies, and I don't wanna see anyone other than Bruce Campbell playing Ash. It'd feel just wrong. Epically wrong, bordering on blasphemy.
