Hi there all!

Well, i'm going to continue with some macro/flower shots (sorry for being too many!!) cause lately i took a lot of this kind!!! Also i'm going to update some of the older ones or upload prints as well, so sorry for flooding your msg center! :blushes: By the way i'd like to ask if any of you have sold any prints??? I'm really curious about this...i'm gonna try it anyway.

This weeks 10 featured photos got 10 or LESS favs!!! I really don't believe this cause most of them (at least for my taste) deserve LOTS more! So this will be a 10 for 10 journal :D heh....

So here we go:

Hi there all. My msg center is really busy these days with all these deviations & journal posts. So am I and i have no time to check them out...:( Really sorry for this, when i find the time i will try to check out your work...



Some cool photos i found out this month:












Well, in most cases the 1st day of the month people usually say "have a nice month" (or something like that...at least in Greece we use to say this). In my case this didn't happen at all. And i don't mean nobody told me, but it was a very very bad day!!!

First of all the prints from the EIR (colour infrared) slides turned out really awfull and i paid for them about 15 euros!!! The son of a $%#@ who printed them was calling himself an artist/professional but he was nothing more than a stupid amateur!!! The prints were awfull and now i have to pay for these again (but i have almost no money left!) and wait about 3 days more...

The second thing is that one of the b&w was destroyd or never exposed... At least this is was they told me. And just when i was waiting to take it developed and go to a friend of mine to develop the rest 2 and print some photos of these 3 he got really sick!!! This can't get any worse.... :( wtf... (p.s.: i also think that the photographs i posted are really average nothing special really...this made me also sad :( )

Anyway, things can change when you don't expect it so...we'll see then.

Thanks for your time reading this and sorry for all these journals i send almost every 3 days filling up your msg center but i just wanted to tell someone about these things right now....

Tryin to sort them out at this moment (the digital ones) and also develop and print the films this week. The bad thing is that i don't know when i'll be able to scan them and post them cause i have no scanner right now :( .

And what a surprise when i logged in yesterday...500 msgs and also featured at =DailyDeviants !!! :wow: This is something really unexpected!! You can see it here. Big thanks to =redewe for the suggestion!!! As for the msgs (comments & deviations) i'll try to answer to most of them (if not all of them) and also view/comment the most of the deviations (but this is really really hard with 300 deviations!!!! :wow: )

So i'll upload some pics these days and the best part is that i'm going to develop/print the films myself! Heh! I'm really anxious about this! Never done this before...thanks to a friend of mine who is studing in a photography school i'll have all the help i need ;)

Yeayyy!!! I just got a film slr with two lenses!!! :) I'm really happy about this cause now i can shoot in colour infrared (just got a kodak eir film which cost about 23 euros :wow:....yeah, pretty expensive!) and in pure b&w (bought two different b&w films, a kodak 400 and an agfa 200 - don't rememer the names of the film right now :D). I just can't wait to finish them and get them printed !!! ASAP as their ready i'll upload some stuff here :).

Anyway, i leave in two days for the first week of my vacations. I 'm going to really tiny island in the aegean sea called Folegandros and i'm coming back next monday/thusday.

About DA now, as i noticed today DA added at last the category feature in users gallery!!! yeay!! so from now on i'll just post here in my journal only my newest photos and not a sorted kind of gallery :). Also don't forget to visit my other "wallpaper-digital art" account ~padawen ;)

Yeeeeeyyyyy!!!! At last!!!

I finished my work for the unniversity, fixed my laptop, recover some almost-lost pictures and yes, i'm heading for vacations right now!!! I'm really for all of these and i'm also really happy for all the support around here...I really appreciate this! Special-Big thanks to all of the people there, on my friends list and also to those who have left a comment suggestive, critique or just sayin "wow"... I will have the time to shoot some photos now! In Athens, Folegandro, Elafoniso or wherever i am :)...

So won't be able to be all the time in front of my monitor the next two months (ok, less than this :D) but i will be snaping around sometimes. Next week i'm leaving for Folegandros (a nice, small & quite island, so then, yes, i won't be able able to be here at all :)...i guess i'm not really sad for this :D...heh...

Anyway, have fun everyone and take care! I will update this journal again, at least one time before i leave.

These days i was shooting and posting all kinds of photos!!! I'm really happy cause i posted my first 100% abstract photo, and i like it a lot (ok, it's mine so i like it :D ). The point is that this is the best site & community I've ever seen in the net since the begining.... After almost 10 years i found somewhere i can do almost everythink i want, communication, show my creations, and see the best art ever...

Ok i may not have a lots of my work but it's a motive that you can show it somewhere and people will be interesting in this by any way' to see it, criticise it etc... Wow, my head's still spinning around....

Anyway, i'd like to thank everybody for the warm welcome here and as i've said to the shoutbx i'll try to post most of my stuff till the end of the week. I'm really happy that even 3-4 people saw them and liked them! (the motive i was saying :D ).

Also i'll try to write in the journal for other peoples work that i like, so you can check it yourself!
