.. Wow, I wasn't really expecting all the comments on the last Journal, basically I just wanted the negative Nancy's to think twice before posting to any ones DA account and hopefully walk away. Constructive critiques are fine if ASKED for. I'm not looking for kudos or anything, I like the idea of an artist community, were young and old, good and not so good, painters and photographers gather together and just talk. I like answering questions and talking to others who have similar interests, this is my Facebook or Myspace

So, to move on, I'd like to thank everyone for their support, it was really unexpected and greatly appreciated!

Now I'll be posting some pages for a dead proposal in a bit, this is NOT, I repeat NOT, the new project, but it was something I was hoping to get a chance to work on as I'm a huge fan, unfortunately these things don't always work out but hey, at least we tried

Bestest!

Brett

So recently a few comments were made about the artwork here. I rebuttled (is that even a word?) that I must have wasted the last 16 years doing pro work, to which they responded that I did. They then went on to comment:

"also, what if i were stan lee posting under a secret account to crit people? just... what if "

I don't really care who you are, or might be. Stan Lee, Jim Lee, Mark Silvestri, Jack Kirby ect. I don't care if you like the artwork. I didn't draw it for them, I drew most of it for myself and then the rest for my 25 fans I've already worked for Marvel, I drew FF and the X-men... and Stan Lee isn't even in charge over there anymore... idiot.

I cruise DA looking at art. I rarely comment on any of it. If I don't like it I simply move on. Art is subjective and what you might like others might not. So what's the point of basically commenting that something basically 'sucks'? Seems like a waste of time unless your trying to get a rise out of me, sometimes it's fun to play along but this week I'm tired to I simply blocked them

On a different note, I will hopefully be posting artwork for my next project this weekend.
It always seem to happen when I put one up, even an old one. I start getting requests too do them.

Nothing against anyone, but I am no longer doing them. I did a lot of the old ones for some extra cash. Some were sort of fun, others were a pain in the butt. Any new ones posted are me just finishing off my last few.

Maybe this will help. If I did decide to do one, the price for a single character would now be $300. That's just for a character, no background or anything. If you want more it would cost more. Now maybe the notes will stop a bit

As for requests. Unless I specifically ask for them (I haven't yet) I won't do them. Please remember that I might not like the same things that you do and since most of the stuff on here is just for my enjoyment, why would I want to draw something I don't like? i do that all the time at my job. I don't really enjoy drawing comics like I used to. The adaptions are a bit different, I'd rather be doing my own stuff, but I have to eat. Adaptions from book I like would seem like a great things but since I don't own it something always seems to creep in and screw it up. Frank has been good so far, I've been asked to keep drawing it after the first 5. I'mnot sure yet, I really liked the second book so I might stick around, all the cool stuff happens at the end

My ultimate goal is to do illustrated novels or books similar to the Dinotopia stuff. I've done comics for over 15 years, I will have to either move on or retire eventually.

Best,

Brett

And up pops a pencil drawing this heads taken from the artist who did all the drawing for the Jurassic Park Institute so many years ago. In the comments he says we was drawing some heads he/sh found on the internet, cool fine. He's staked they weren't his originally.

They were fairly good since I knew them at a glance. I commented that they looked good and if he could please credit the original artist. I did say the skulls were out of date, but since he was copying them that's not his fault.

Well I heard from him today, he was not pleasent. I basically said stop being an ass and credit the original artist. BUT i can't remember the original artist name so if anyone can remember it please let me know.
So I've gotten dragged into a discussion that Atheism is a religion. It is not, nore is is a belief system or a way of live or a moral code or a value system. I can't answer for every Atheist out there since they might not have the same ideas I do. I have examined the evidence, processed it and come to a conclusion. this is my conclusion and solely my own. There is no initiation or rights of passage. I do not talk to other Atheists (except the ones here that post comments.) I can not answer every question since I don't know everything.

I am not trying to exterminate religion. I get hat some need the comfort of being reunited with loved ones, that the universe is looking out for them, that somebody will always love them. I ONLY WANT THE SEPERATION OF CHURCH AND STATE. I'm not looking to convert anyone, just correct some of the gross lies I hear to the misinformed. I'm beginning to think that in order to understand an Atheist you have to actually be one or live with one.

I don't care what you believe in, just don't close your mind completely to what the human race has accomplished, the knowledge we've amassed. Id like others to see the evidence and finally relize evolution is a fact. That the bible/koran/tora can't be taken literally, or that you can believe in God and the way he works is through evolution. But I know that won't happen.

Best,

Brett

Ok, I got several people telling me my Neanderthal was wrong. I freely admit that the chest isn't large enough. It should be broader, but the brow ridges ARE there you have to zoom in to see them. It does have a larger squarer jaw and a larger than normal nose. I just didn't go to the extremes that other artist do. I intentionally went for the homosapian looking individuals. I also made the lower legs shorter than I normally do which is another characteristic of these guys. Neanderthals DID NOT stoop. That idea was based off an old individual crippled with arthritis. These guys were active hunters, 80% of their diet was meat, they had larger brains than we do and they lived in cold ass climates for 250,000 years. These were remarkable people. Unfortunately something happened 30,000 years ago, we might have killed them, forced them into extinction by out competing them OR interbred with them (our DNA and theirs is different so the children would most likely have been sterile.) Stop thinking of these guys as the classic stupid caveman with a club. These were smart powerful people who buried their dead with gifts and red ocre.

I'm very disappointed in the science people are being taught...very disappointed.

I've run out of paper and I still haven't gotten any from DB so I ordered from Blueline on Tuesday... they sent it out today......grrrrr.

Best,

Brett

I'll keep checking to see if it's finally going to be stable for a few weeks before I try uploading anything.

Quote from a Reuters

"The U.S.-based Catholic League urged Christians not to see the movie, fearing even a diluted version of the book might draw people to read the bestselling "His Dark Materials" trilogy.

Calling Pullman "a noted English atheist," the group said on its Web site: "It is his objective to bash Christianity and promote atheism. To kids."

I've read the first book of this, I quite liked it. I find it funny that a religion that constantly bashes people over the head with their message of Hell and damnation could be such hippicrates....not really, they do it all the time. Christians and most mainstream religious groups need to lighten up. It's just a movie, it's fiction. Get off your high horse and start wasting your time doing what your supposed to be doing...love thy neighbor. Idiots.

On a side note any more nasty or insulting comment will be ripped a new one. I'm in bad mood today and am itching to lash out at someone. Once again I don't want critiques, I don't care what you think of my art. If you have a question or just want to chew the fat I'm more than happy to talk

Well I was toying around with the idea of doing a animal person print to help out another person I know who's house burned down. But to be honest I don't know if it will sell well enough to make the effort. So if I did a print on DA would you honestly buy it or am I just going to waste my time? Please be honest with me about this.

On a more happy note, I watched the Transformers movie the other day..... I really wanted to like this movie I loved the original series and original movie, they were alot of fun. But this, Sam was great fun, but the robots seemed to be an add on, even though the movie was about them, they didn't seem integral to the plot. In fact they added all these humans who just didn't need to be there, and in fact detract from the movie. This movie should be about the robots and Sam not the fricken lame ass humans. And there was not nearly enough Megatron and Starscream. In fact the Decepticons were under represented. The transformers needed less stuff on them they were too complicated when they were fighting, it was hard to figure out what the hell was going on. And while I enjoy Hugo Weaving he just wasn't Megatron. I know the original actor who did the voice is dead but somebody out there can do something similar. I guess they just didn't know how to write the robots, just treat them as regular characters, I think that's the whole key to the original cartoons.

Sam's family was pretty darn funny, a more simple movie with the family and the robots would have been better. But this was a Micheal Bay movie and if you watched South Park last night that about sums it up.

Still looking for that new vehicle, I have a few to look at next time I go into town. Hopefully something will actually match the description online!

Oh and did you see the Wolverine head in that pope fire thing, people see what they want to see.

So I don't usually watch the new shows, BUT alot of them have a scifi twist so I thought I'd check 'em out. Here's a quick review of the shows I watched.

Chuck NBC: This was pretty good, the fight scene at the beginning was fricken cool. It's on the Scifi channel tonight if you missed it. Basically this computer nerd gets the whole of the CIA and FBI's knowledge downloaded in to his brain. It's fun funny and spyie. It will be canceled.

Reapers CW: This is a bit more out there but in the same vein as Chuck. Guy working as a Walmart type store finds out his parents sold his sold to the devil. Now he has to work for Satan collecting escapies from Hell, apparently they are at capacity, who knew The first episode was pretty fricken good (Kevin Smith directed it and some former X files writers are the creators.) I'm hoping the CW will keep it on for a bit. But once again it will get canceled.

Bionic Women NBC: Pretty good, a bit rushed, I'm not sure about the Jamie Summers actress but we'll see what she does (she might be a good Wonder Woman...hmmmmm.) The car crash scene was wicked cool Oh, and Starbuck from BSG was in it as the First Bionic Woman, she was quite fun to watch. Maybe a second season.

House FOX: Great as usual, I love this show! You know the actor who plays House was in a music video Also the actor who plays Wilson was in My Best Friend is a Vampire.

Eureka Scifi: Quite funny, I just heard they are doing a third season, cool! Daniel Jackson was on Tuesdays episode, he was only on for a bit but I know the ladies like him

Moonlight CBS: Don't wast your time, it's almost as bad as Flash Gordon. It's an Angel wanna be show without the cool monsters or the comedy. I'm hoping this one doesn't make it past three episodes. The older vampire is pretty funny but he's on for like 3 minutes. Boring. Canceled.

Stargate Atlantis: I missed SG-1 so bad I watched this. It was OK, nothing really special I was hoping that since Carter will be joining the cast it might get a bit better, I'll give it a few more than make my decision. I watched like 5 episodes of season 1 and then stopped. I just didn't really like it.

I also saw Accepted and Knocked up this weekend (got it in a 2 pack at Walmart. I also got Gross Point Blank, I fricken love this movie!)

Accepted was pretty darn fun. It's no PCU but it's on par with American Pie and Van Wilder. Justin Long is always good. And you have to watch the extras, Lewis Black is even more foul mouthed than I am, who knew?

Knocked Up was OK, it didn't live up to the hype. If you want to watch a really good pregnancy movie watch Junior with Danny Devito and Arnold Swarzenagger. There is one scene in Knocked Up that was laugh out loud funny, pubes in the toilet. But it was still pretty good, not sure if I'll watch this one again. 40 Year Old Virgin was much funnier in my humble opinion.

That's all for now. We have a Showtime free preview weekend, it blows! They have nothing good on, I hate it when they do that!

If I didn't get to your notes resend them, I've been gone most of the week.

Well, our Saluki puppy 'The Bean' broke his leg last week, right front. He's been fixed up and has pins and stuff sticking out of his arm, very Frankensteinish. Of course the other day he stopped eating and drinking. I took him to the vet's yesterday and he's now drinking but not eating. I am not amused Bean. If he doesn't eat today I'll be heading back to the vet's tomorrow. I'm worried he's having a problem with the titanium pins in his arm.

Anyways, we'll have details on the new project soon I'll hopefully have some new stuff later today I'm not feeling good myself today so I'll just scan a few things.
So I'm currently in talks with Marvel about Anita. That's all I'll say for right now.

I'm hoping to have some new stuff up in the next few days, I hurt my hand/wrist fixing a flat the other day (it fell off the jack 6 times and I had to start from scratch. My old jack is just about dead so I got a new one that one is flat on the top so it won't grip anything and it isn't tall enough. Stupid jack. I bought another one yesterday.) I'm feeling a bit better today so I'm hoping to get some stuff done.

Chick fillet is my new favorite fast food place, it's addictive!

Boog is doing good the leg has set. He's 3 so it takes longer for adult dogs to lay down the bone. Puppy leg bones usually set in 3-5 days. Getting old sucks

I got season 10 of Stargate SG-1 this week. Now my collection is complete My other TV collections include:

Millenium
Firefly
Jack of all Trades
Brisco County Jr.
Freakylinks

So you know I'm not right in the head

A few of my favorite movies include:

The Matrix, Connie and Carla, Dodgeball, Aliens, the Terminator, Predator, Jurassic Park, Spiderman 2, Serenity, Hercules, the Lion King, Young Frankenstein, The Holy Grail, Life of Brian, Rocky Horror Picture Show, Blade, Fellowship of the ring, and a bunch of others I can't remember right now. As you can see I don't really like dramas, I prefer things that are cool or funny. I'm pretty simple. Meat good, veggies bad.

Well it's been made official this week. Marvel and DB are no longer doing books together. I won't go into specifics about it, but Marvel got ALL the properties DB was doing through them, make your own decisions. Anyways, everyone at DB is keeping quiet until they make their next announcement, I'm not sure when but soon I guess.

I did want to clear up a few things. First to all the people complaining about not getting stuff from DB I know about 200 packages went out this week I'm assuming these are the Richard print and other things from the store. The #7 pencil addition...well DB no longer has the rights to do Anita so you do the math. I know they will be doing a press release about it next week so be patient, these company splits and merger things take time, trust me it took 2 months before we got paid for the first time after DC bought Wildstorm.

One other thing, I am not exclusive to DB or any other company.

Will I continue on Anita? Who knows. Everything is up in the air at this point. When I know more I'll post that info.

I started re-reading C.S. Freidman's Black Sun Raising. On the cover it says NY Times notable author. This book is one of my all time favorites and it never became a bestseller! If you like scifi/fantasy, pick it up it's part of a trilogy. This is a book I want to draw the adaption of, hopefully I will some day

Psyche is on USA network tonight, if you like goofy, silly comedies, this show is great! Very funny!

I tried watching the new Flash Gordon last week....don't waste your time!

If you get BBC america try watching Coupling, the British version is SOOOO much better than the NBC one. It's my favorite comedy of all time! Jeff rules!

Also Eureka is pretty good and the new show Burn Notice is really growing on me. I haven't watched anything on the big 4 in months! Cable is doing some good stuff.

They are making plans to do this especially if your NOT a Marvel artist. So if you feel like stealing someone else's characters and making prints or whatnot watch your ass!

Sorry about no new art but things have been..... hecktic here, you'll find out later this week or early next. I want to get some commissions done this week so if I get them done I'll put them up

Lately I've been seeing people doing revamps of old characters like Thundercats and He-Man. Well unless you have the licence to do this it's against the law and you can get popped. I've had several requests for prints of the Anita stuff, but I don't own the rights to them so I can't sell them and make money, it's against the law. So if your doing this, STOP! you might get popped and then either fined or sent to the clinck.

In other news, Foosa has fully recovered. One of our IG's, Boog, had his right foot crushed, yeah!

It's been raining like a SOB here, I thought this was the dessert!

Oh, the comic book industry sucks! Look for work elsewere! Go back, stay away! It's evil

That is all,

Brett

Edited to add: what my ever so coherent husband means is he's seen a lot of people selling PRINTS of trademarked characters. Unless you have purchased a license to produce and sell a product bearing a trademarked character, this IS against the law. Tradtionally, doing commissions of characters has been a grey area, because technically you are purchasing the labor required the to produce the commission. Producing prints, however, is trademark infringement and punishable by law if done without permission.

Picked her up yesterday. SHe's eating and acting pretty normal. She had a pyometra. A uterine infection, she just turned one and just had her first heat. She started to look plump and we thought maybe one of the boys had somehow managed to 'get' her, nudge, nudge, wink, wink. But she did have a slightly elevated temp. So we brought her in , they did an ultrasound and her uterus was full of fluid and expanded all the into her ribcage. So she needed surgery to remove it. They used staples instead of stitches so she has a slightly Frankenseinish look to her.

I was wondering around the web today and happened to come across the Wildstorm message boards. Someone mentioned that Wizard interview I did. A few of the comments were, I didn't have a Plan B, I should have given up the dogs and worked at McDonalds. And of course I'm not very smart for saying I don't want to draw superheros anymore.

Alrighty some answers:

I did have a plan B and a Plan c. Plan A was another Thundercats series, but I was told before I left that (and after I was offered) WarnerBros wanted to go more cartoony. So Plan B went into effect. and shortly after I arrived in Texas Plan B went up in flames. Plan C was Marvel and I even got 2 emails asking me what other books besides Spidey I'd want to do. i said anything and never heard another word. I also did contact WS numerous times for Work, but was told they had none. After the 4th or 5th call I got the message.

My dos are like my kids, they are a part of my family if you don't get that then you don't get me and that's OK. But my priorities are MY priorities, not yours. If you're so willing to ditch your dog then maybe you shouldn't have one. They always have food and are always loved and cared for. They make me happy (usually) I'm not going to give them up without a fight.

I did the math. I lived an hour away from anything. the price of going to work everyday would have eaten up most of my paycheck (I have a big gas guzzling van.) Working 40 hours and making $40, just didn't add up. I did have a few odd jobs here and there. I believe Wizard made it out to look somewhat worse than it was, we only lived inthe Van for about 6 moths and we only slept in it. We did have a little structure built for the daytime. I've been told by friends that some of the facts are 'off'. I wasn't planning on doing this type of interview, I was planning to do an interview on Anita or Dabelbrothers. I will not be doing another Wizard interview....Unless Anita gets a cover And be careful what you read it's not always the whole story.

And yes, I don't really like drawing superheroes right now. That might change, but not anytime soon. I've been anti superhero since 99, but if it comes to drawing them or eating well I'll be drawing them, but I won't like it and that always make the work suffer.

Oh and Kindred 2 sucked ass. It was not the story I wanted to do. in fact the original did not have Backlash or Grifter in it. But WS wanted them, so it was rewritten. Then I find out Grifter history had changed...again (this happens all the time, In Fact Backlash was supposed to Be Zealots child until some one else wanted Winter in Stormwatch or something I can't really remember.) So I had to get rid of all the flash back scenes with him and Backlash in them, about 6 pages from every issue, they were originally 28 pages. How they met and so forth. It was not in Team 7. It was a better story but not by much, I needed the work.

Sorry one of my dogs had emergency surgery yesterday, she's doing OK, but I'm still a bit stressed about it. I guess I should have just put her to sleep. Jerk.

It doesn't have to be exact or anything but I want something dark, spooky, and NOT dirty.
AB 1634, the Pet Extinction Act, passed the Assembly and will now be going to the Senate. This is a bad piece of legislation that no ammendment can make workable. To find out why this bill should not pass, check [link] and [link]

Julie Mancuso, one of the authors of this bill, is heavily in PETA's pocket. To find out more about Animal Rights Activists view on owning pets, go here [link]

To sign a petition against AB 1634 go [link] To find a California zip code to plug in when you sign the petition, click [link] I know that's cheating, but the pro-extinction groups not only keep inflating their numbers, but are also using the time-honored tactic of getting people to think with their hearts instead of their brains. A review of the literature against AB 1634 with your brain in place will tell you that mandatory spay/neuter does not work.

If you live in California, please CALL your Senator and tell them to vote NO on AB 1634. A link to Senate information is here [link]

And for those who use the sentimental bilge of 'don't breed or buy while shelter animals die', I have nothing against mutts. My first dog was a mutt and she was much beloved. BUT IF I CAN'T GET AN AFGHAN HOUND IN THE US BECAUSE OF STUPID, SHORT-SIGHTED LAWS LIKE AB 1634, I WILL IMPORT ONE. Not everybody wants a shelter dog and eliminating breeding will NOT make shelter numbers go down!

Kiss my ass, ARAs.

So an 'interesting' dinosaur related paper came out this week. Basically saying T.rex was slow and could only walk, while the young were fast and agile.

And to this I say "WHAT THE FU@#??!!?" Is everyones IQ just slowly getting lower?! This is complete and under (to quote my favorite paleontologist) 'BUNK' and here's why:

I know of NO animal in the animal kingdom that goes from a sleek agile young adult ( they are usually gangly, clumsy things) to a slow moving adult unable to feed itself. They are saying T. rex was not able to hunt down it's prey, all of which could run! What?!?! All big cats even the really big ones have a top speed of about 35mph, the Cheetah being an exception as it's built o go even faster. Hell even grizzly's can acheive this speed. You don't magically get slower as you become an adult (well when you get really old, yeah or you put on A LOT of extra weight, this isn't always true I've sen some heafty guys tear up the track!) But I can run about the same speed now as I did when I was 15 I couldnt sustain it, but that's because I'm out of shape, not old.)

There's been this idea going around for awhile, the young T.rex's chased the prey into the adults waiting mouths. Now this sound pretty good, sort of like the Lion, were the females sometimes hunt with the males. They chase the prey into the males and the males catch and kill it. Cool, neat. One BIG problem....Who teaches the young to do this amazing feet? Why an adult must, since co-opreative hunting is a LEARNED behaviour. I also find it funny that the LARGEST predator in the eco-system is being turned into a scavenger when it's been shown time and again that there are no true scavengers, even vultures will hunt if no carcass is available (it's happening in Spain right now, suck on that scavenger guy!) In every eco-system on the planet the 'scavenger' role is taken up by smaller predators who also hunt small prey (the coyotes here don't usually eat the cows.) Large animal can't survive on carcasses. What is this need that certain paleontologists have to try to regress all the progress made and return these great beasts to the slow dim witted slugs of the past?

I'm not expecting T.rex to be fast, but in general your prey isn't that much faster than you. It just doesn't happen. You don't survive for millions of years not being able to eat.

I also happened to watch 'Destination Truth' on the Scifi channel this week. Basically it's a bunch of crytozoologists (some of which are supposed to be 'specialists&#039 looking for cryptids, in this case Iguanodon (I've never heard this before) and a Mermaid. They go to Papua New Guinea (I didn't know they had Iguanodons there) to search for these beasts.

Now they first go to a local museum in what I'm guessing is the capitol, they had an airport that had big 'ole planes. At the museum they are shown a picture (from a fricken science guy at the museum, I don't remember if he was a biologist or not so I'm just saying science guy) of some locals standing around a bunch of huge bones. I'm talking backbones as big as tires big. Now keep in mind they have 'experts' with them. Now also keep in mind Iguanodon was around 30 feet long with about 1/3 of that being tail. Their heads are only 2-3 feet long. Sort of large horse size. Now the 'specialists' don't pop in and say hey dude, those vertabre are WAY to big to be from an Iguanodon. They say nothing. Now they show the picture but only on a computer screen, but I know I've seen them before, it just take me a bit to remember.
SO they go to the area were these sightings have been. And they interview the guy who had all the bones. They want to see these bones (and so do I since I still can't place them.) But oddly enough they are gone, surprize, surprize. They next interview this old woman, and the first thing this dolt does is SHOW HER A PICTURE OF IGUANODON!!!!!!!!! He doesn't show her several pictures and have her pic, he basically says this is what you saw right, nudge, nudge, wink, wink. IDIOT! So at this point I'm yelling at the screen and decide it's time to make dinner. MMMMM Sandwiches with melted cheese...goood

So they tread into the forest and set up camp. They've hear that the herbivorus Iguanodon likes chicken (WHAT?!) so they hang up a chicken 6 feet off the ground. This is about right for a quadrapedal animal and this guy could also get up on 2 legs if it wanted to, maybe around 10 feet but that might be pushing it, their tails were not very flexible. they set up night cameras and sensors and the like. Cool. Maybe we'll see something. After about 3 hours there appears to be something moving the tree limb to the right of the chick...

From the National Animal Interest Alliance [link] :

AB 1634 was amended today. Here is a draft of the bill with the changes.

[link]

We have reviewed these changes and continue to strongly oppose the bill. The bill can not be fixed. It is fundamentally flawed and must be defeated.

We are approaching a critical time in the fight against AB 1634, so we have enabled our lobby tool at [link] to send faxes as well as emails.

To use the lobby center, click on the link above, then scroll to the link that says State Elected Officials. Then place CA on the drop down tab and hit go. Once you are on the California page, put in your zip code and then click on AB 1634.

Read the alert, then scroll down to the "Take Action" Center. Once there choose your delivery option: email, fax or letter.

Now that the amendments have been approved, it is imperative to write once again. If your assemblymember doesn't hear from you again, s/he might believe that your issues have been addressed.

The amendments do not change our opposition to the bill.

AB 1634 does not target the source of pet surplus problems so it can not achieve its stated goal. Further, the bill is unnecessary because dramatic declines in shelter impounds and euthanasias have occurred over the last several decades without the need for such intrusive legislation on pet owners . AB 1634 will not only not achieve its stated goal; it will lead to many unintended consequences: AB 1634 will undermine the long-term shelter population trend, harm the economy, and drive pet owners out of the system.

Please go to the NAIA Trust Lobby Center ( [link] )now and write and send your letter! The talking points are provided as guides. Modify them to fit your point of view.

California AB 1634, the mandatory spay/castrate bill that would require virtually all dogs to be spayed or castrated by four months of age, will be going up before the Assembly soon. Please go here [link] for more information about why you need to contact your Assembly member and tell them to vote NO on this seriously flawed piece of legislation.

So this how to draw book that I did art for ships tomorrow here's a link to Amazon:

[link]

I did notice my name is nowhere to be seen on this Steve You'll sell like 3 more books if my names on it. and it might even sell better if you put Anita Blake artist... you might get like 5 more sales.

Seriously, I did like 50 images for this (not all were used, including the now imfamous Taco Grande the luchador sumo wrestler, what's up with that?) including the cover. Jess colored like 25 of them so it's full of Demonpuppy goodness. There was even a problem with the cover, someone thought the 70's style black kung fu guy was racist (I based him on a good friend of mine and the guy from Enter the Dragon!) Contriversey sells books! People are way to PC now. It's getting to be ridiculous.

Anyways the book has a bunch of new character designs by me, I couldn't just do regular guys in traditional martial arts attire, so they are all funky and weird. I even did an Alien with 4 arms for the sake of Pete! What more do you people want from me blood? The Tiger guy compete with girdle is in this one so all you Furry lovers should buy this book.... Hey do I get royalties for this?.....No?, what the fu.....nevermind, go about your bizness.

I can't think of anything witty or annoying to write about sooo... I'll talk about my weirdizms.

1. I like to eat dry Cheerios and drink iced tea with them.

2. I think all feet are ugly. No ones are nice so don't try to fool me

3. I like britcoms. If you don't know what that mean then you won't like them

4. I'm a huge Stargate SG-1 fan. I don't care for Atlantis at all.

5. I don't read comics anymore nor do I really care for them. I can't stand drawing supreheroes at all. I'm superheroed out....literally.

6. I like cartoons, Kim Possible is one of my favorites, as is South Park.

7. I also like to watch House, Psych, and Eureka. I can't stand Heroes or that show with McWhatshisface.

8. I believe all ORGANIZED religion is inherintly evil. You can practice what you want at home but when you organize you currupt. They athiests are doing this now...idiots.

9. I just like to draw the Anthro stuff, that's all. I don't understand the Furry world and I'm happy with that. Do what you want, It's all good (except for killin and such, that would be bad, use your heads people!)

10. I love dinosaurs, if you do them wrong in a movie...you suck! All you have to do is ask a dino geek and they will be happy to tell you everything you'll ever need to know about dinosaurs.

11. I hate vegetables. They taste like crap. Most humans are omnivors, the reason we have large brains is because our ancestors ate bone marrow, the fat is good for the brain. If you eat only weeds your messing with the system. Meat is tasty. I do like potatoes and corn but they aren't veggies.

12. I like weird stuff. Normal is boring.

13. I can see you through your monitor.

14. I hate watching sports. Watching golf is the most boring thing in the world even worse than baseball.

15. I can't stand american histroy, the mafia, and movies involving the millitary (unless they are scifi or comedys,) and the Mummy 1 and 2.

16. I loved Army of Darkness but didn't like Evil Dead 1 or 2.

17. I do not care for Al Pachino, Robert DeNaro or that other guy with the sinking boat and that stupid locket thing.

18. That being said I love bad movies. and I've seen some bad ones.

19.I'm a very picky eater, I run my tomato sauce through a strainer, I hate the bits.

20. I like musicals, but not motorcycles (what's up with that?)

21. I can't spell to save my life and I don't give a crap about it!
