This is unbelievable because I have an idea just like that for Designers'Couch, not just have but implemented it. It hurts and I mean it really fucking hurts to get beat to this feature because I personally think it's a progressive feature on designs sites that focus on constructive criticism rather than just, "nice design" type of comments. I never really thought the day would come when I'd be typing the words, "DC beta is Ready." Yea, believe it or not, it's now housed on it's very own dedicated server pimping some of the features on deviantART with it's very own. I'll be inviting those said they're up for beta testing this week, by Wednesday the latest.

I wanted to take time out to introduce DA's new Gallery Director, :devnunodias:. He seems quite excited, anxious about the position and will definitely whip the gallery into fine shape. I've already passed some words of wisdom and am currently helping him get settled, I think.

Today I had a meeting with the first official sponsor of Designers' Couch. I'm not going to say much about who it is as yet but with the help of our sponsor(s), DC is going mainstream. I'm truly excited.

As the preview I posted the other day suggested, we've now completed 50% of site development. 50% only includes design, UI Development and QA. The next phases is working with developers to bring this to life. However, it'll take at least another 2 months (minus the weekends and holidays) before we can even hit beta simply because DC has so much features.

So, Ryan has just made the logo that's been hidden around the site official. Weeks ago, many mentioned that they don't like the logo. Personally, I like it but I know a lot of people aren't liking those lines. How are you? Great I hope.

I know most is enjoying this rock solid design by deviantART which seemed to have kept it's original style but yet moved into the web 2.0 phase. Gotta give Ryan kudos for pulling that off.

I had to visit since he told me it's launched and it kicks ass. I also had to visit because I know I've been in the dark for quite some time.

Rest assured that I've been anywhere but in the dark. I've been insanely busy. I never expected to get this crazy with Depthskins. I'm working on several social network starts (I love working with start-ups) and a good amount of smaller projects.

It seems that they were using the work as content filler, most designers know about that. However, I had to explain to him that dA is not a stock site and to let his designers know this. They cannot use work without credit or permission for whatever reason. They owner understood, apologized.

He said one artist cursed at him. I just want to let people know that even though you're pissed beyond explanation, there's professional ways to go about this and you harness more power and respect if you go about it professionally.

It's pretty unbelievable that a design firm in Canada would make a typographic error in the recent campaign but the Ministry of Environment in Canada.

The campaign focuses on saving energy by encouraging everyone to take off their lights. The campaign is "FLICK OFF" and the font and typographic treatment caused it to look like "FUCK OFF" especially from far.
