Tube una complicacion con mi papa hace poco y lo tubimos que llevar al hospital, estubo alli una semana, le dio un peñeño derrame cerebral "pero" por mas pequeño que sea esas cosas siempre quedan afectados de alguna manera, actualmente se esta recuperando pero el brazo izquierdo quedo adormecido, bueno espero que oren mucho por el para que tenga pronta recuperacion.

Las buenas nuevas son que ya termine mis clases en atlantic college y me graduo el proximo jueves XD, ni siquiero habia podido ir al trabajo arreglando unas ultimas cosas que me pidieron para la actividad, pero todo cool, las cosas que no pude hacer esta semana mi jefe me dio el permiso de hacerlas para la proxima, so, no voy a estar muy atrasado despues de todo.

Tengo varios planes para despues y terminar varios atrasos y quiero empesar a postear cosas nuevas pronto, he estado esperimentando varias cosas especialmente con imagenes .gif y flash, tambien trabajo una nueva pagina web para poner mis comics online a travez de Calameo :3

Tres buenas noticias sobre la "línea de Avatares por Venezuela"

*bokuman el venezolano con mas visitas en dA se nos ha unido a la "Línea de Avatares", para el una cordial Bienvenida. Pueden visitar su Journal y dejar un comentario.

Además *GhostHead-Nebula en su Journal lleva publicado 10 trabajos sobre la censura a la libertad de expresión en Venezuela, visita su Journal y comenta esos lindos trabajos.

Llegamos a los CIEN avatares por Venezuela, una iniciativa 100% hispana que esta llamando la atención de todos en dA y que no tiene precedentes. Vamos por los MIL AVATARES hispanos! todos deben enterarse de que en Venezuela los están callando.


Algunas notas que he recibido me preguntan que esperamos lograr con la línea de Avatares por Venezuela? ... Es difícil responder esto, porque no buscamos mas que mostrar a todos en dA la realidad de Venezuela. No estamos buscando que aprueben algo, no estamos armando un movimiento político, no estamos esperando que un gobierno cambie de opinión ... Solo estamos mostrando a nuestros compañeros del dA esa dura realidad.

Hola gente linda del dA, hoy completamos los 65 primeros avatares de la "Línea de Avatares por Venezuela" una iniciativa que nace de la venezolana *GhostHead-Nebula.

Hacemos un llamado a todo aquel hispano que se quiera unir este Domingo3, Lunes 4 y Martes 5 de Junio en apoyo a los Artistas venezolanos y este difícil momento, cambiando su Avatar (si no lo han hecho) al avatar con la cinta negra y publicando un Journal con el titulo "APOYO A VENEZUELA" ... debemos mostrarle al mundo que a nuestros hermanos venezolanos los están callando!.

1. I once jumped a ramp with my bike... once... and I ended with my mouth eating dirt.

2. My ex girlfriend was from mexico and I got a 4 year relationship with her... until something bad happened... well not deadly bad but something bad... WHORE!, HEHEHE.

3. I'm just observing that people here in Puerto Rico are too obseced with regeton music and I just cant get it, I can't, I tried once and it's simply not me, I'm sorry to be sailing against the wave but to me it's just too repetitive and too simplistic, no matter how manny people are into it or how popular it became on this island. I guess sex speaks more than words today.

4. I still thinking that local T.V. is stinking and stinking very shitty.

Tomandome un tiempo de postear aqui y en otros foros para brindar cosas nuevas y adelantadas en futuros posteos, me doy cuenta que el estar aqui pegado de foro a foro para buscar la aprovacion de tus compañeros artistas locales no es la mejor manera de incluirte entre ellos, ni necesariamente no ser parte de ellos te hacer ser mejor o peor artista. Incluyendome a los mas cercanos y haciendo nuevos amigos fuera puedo considerar que eh estado adelantandome y tambien ayudando a adelantar projectos incompletos. No estoy diciendo que sea malo estar aqui o alla, promocion es parte de darse a conocer. Quisas el error mio fue tratar depromocionar antes de tener el trabajo hecho, como es el caso de mi primer comic que promocione al entrar nuevo a URStudio hace (4) años atras. Como es el caso de ahora que promocione mi (nuevo) proyecto "Unit" (el arte es del 98) pero con un buen make up se ve practicamente nuevo. Solo que esta vez, estoy mas afiliado con mi arte, dentro de 4 años se aprende muchas cosas, como que rayos hiba a saber yo que el Lenz Flare te chotiaba que eras novato, o que puedes hacer blobos de dialogo tan derechos en Photoshop como en Draw (usualmente uso Photoshop) que calamidad. Eh aprendido a montar e-paginas con software o a lo cojones, eh montado la mia propia, con flash, sin flash y hasta hacer mi promio cd interactivo... todo con el fin de un dia publicarme y hacer algo con lo mio. Empesando solo y conociendo gente aqui y alla, me eh dado cuenta que hay una comunidad aqui en Puerto Rico que exige comics de calidad, para la comunidad lectora como la comunidad del hobbie. Entre todos aqui y alla se busca ese bien, hasta entonces seguire mi camino, y espero algun dia que alguno de ustedes sea del bando que sea logre con exito su vision... yo hare lo mismo.

Things going well in college right now, got to do a lot of hands and feets drawings for the Ilustrations Technics class and for the class of dessigning 2d characters (interesting clases by the way). Another classes on this semesters are, Photoshop and Quark, I didn't knew much about quark and I'm getting the hang of it, but got a lot of problems understanding it because the teacher simply doesn't know how to do the class, boy, he's borring, hell, I prefer the History teacher than that bummer, LOL. Anyways, you can find me a little busy traying to getting on track of things, I mean, got a lot of drawing to do and inking works, not to tell that I got to paint my comic of Unit this year, and is going to be this year (I hope so). What I'm telling is that very soon the Trinity group are going to have an upgrade about the printing quality standard very soon, and is a must to complete number 1 of Unit if I don't wanna be leaved behind. Anyways, they got a lot of proyects to complete too for maybe next year, but right now, the most completed works to go out are, Hellion 3 (Shoot, Carlos Montalvo IS fast, damn!) and Rebels Terrafoms (this one got a lot of time on the make and hell, its gonna be 40 pages long) other than that I think that Tiempo Resurreccion 3 is almost completed on the inking side, and NightBlaze/Furia Crossover is almost complete (people, this one is going to be the first that's going to be out on color this year) posibly for december's convetion. I'm working right now on Crywolf (by Daniel Torres) 8 page for hsi multi story comic coming aloso maybe on december or sooner, and what i tell you is that is looking like no other comic I have made, well meybe a little comparition with the art of Unit but, I'm the same artist anyway, LOL, well is a lot more well composed, got to remember that the art on Unit is from 1998, ohh my! But the art is getting better and better from number 1 to number 5.

Been fine lately studing and stuff, been continuing working on my comic book The Unit, you can see the portrait of one of the main characters in the comic a digital painting I've been done weeks ago and practicing this stile doing some other works for some freinds Like the Sasha ant view pin up for Robert J. Cintron and lately I worked the scketch for what it could be a cover for Novus Genesis Hype from . Other than that I also got to start the proyect that Daniel Torres gaved me about his character CryWolf cause almost inmediatly that I've did some of my inks works, he just gaved me an old comic that he found unfinished so he wants me fo finish the inks works. This year I'm going to take the Photoshop class, I've been waiting for that cause I simply love Photoshop and it simply becomes my main painting tool, and also been learning ilustrator, it's nice and have been learning to do some tricks mixings the media. I'm going to recomend you this site [link] is a site that have a great collections of Fonts and it practically helps to bring your works more complete, just this fonts with photoshop and you can get great results, I recomend that if you have Photoshop CS1 or CS2 read the tutorial, it shows you how to manipulate fonts and bring the aspect you like. If I get the time I'll going to continue to paint the prologe to my comic the unit on a flash document, I'm going to post it to my yahoo group but to get better results, i'll try my best to get a good score at Newgrounds, so you can see it more easily, maybe I'll iclude a minigame or something, I hope it get fine results.

New year is here, and new things comming for everyone of us, I'm hopping so, but alrready, I'm having new things from the bottom of the last year, starting to study again and learning from new people. More than that I'm still continue to improving myself, I can tell that, I have no idea that here in Puerto Rico have some many talented people lookig for the same thing that I'm looking for, learn about the arts. I'm having so much fun there, youngsters on love fighting, others have more atention on videogames and things like that, others are musicians (I wondered where the rockers in the island have gone) I can tell that the 90% of the student are rockers or goth guys allways on black clothes over there. Yep, and a bunch of girls over there that likes WWE and local wrestling, confusing me with Rey Gonzalez. Ones I entered an hospital to visited my brother (that got sick, but he got better thankyou very much) and there where 2 old men playing cards over there and, one of them just started to quote that I look like the Invader (another local wrestler) hehehe. Well I can tell that I gained some weith and I look a little more stronger but I never imagined that I could be compared to a wrestler, I can guess is the ponytail.

In other news, I have just started a new Yahoo group to replace the one I inevitably cancelled, those of you who are interesed in my works on Intruder Zophia, The Unit and others you can enter to this [link] and remember, it's a membership group, free and easy to join. I allready posted a downloadable Flash document in wish you can see the first 5 pages of Intruder Zophia and soon I will complete the first 5 pages of The Unit to post on the File section. This days have been quite entertaining since I've been started to
go at college studing graphic arts, this is my first week going there
and I really love it, the class of Photomechanics is very interesting,
today I learned to do printing negatives for conventional news papers.
Another class I,ve been is introducction to Mac, I started on that cause,
I'm already a computer PC tech, and they aproved me the other credits
from the other college, so I'm very excited to go and boot a mac and
travel into Mac OS.

I get a surprise yesterday from he send me his comic
of the MightyWarlord #0 and a nice scketch he did at work, I apreciate it
very much Al, thanks and wait for my responce very soon. Visit his page
read his journals, he's really a very kind guy.

I recntly closed my webpage for reconstructions, so, don't be
surprised if you visit the page and don't find anything, the news
are, that since I'm dedicating more to some other comics and other
stuff than my online comic itself of Intruder Zophia. So, I'm replasing
a lot of stuff from my webpage so that the page will be not dedicated to
Intruder Zophia only, but to all my comic books and characters.

I think it should be better that way since I'm not dedicating time to Zophia
at the mommet...

About my comic of Unit_Remastered, that it is the comic that I'm dedicating
time right now, I'm into completing the 5th book, that I let in limbo for a long
time. My brother encoraged me to complete the chapter 1, that consist of
12 comics and like I said, it's the most complete story I've done so far.

Here are a set of 6 sample pages of Unit I've done this last days:




So, I think I'm into the comic mood again to complete my old comic to
close at least the chapter for now.

There are some scketches I'm going to use for a source book
of Unit, that I consider a good Idea since involve manny
characters as well. This book... have a lot of script, and you'll
see some diferent themes but I think is a little easy to get going,
and to my opinion, balanced on action, drama and funny situations.

I have some proyects in mind, with some friends from here
and there, first of all, things about my web site, are not well
readible as I spect, and other people have some complains
about the loading flash file. So I'm going to work on that in
the comming of the next year, and finaly use a better way to
display my page. So the web page will be under construction
for now, but still, the files I posted there will be readible.

The comics are working on will be posted on the web site a soon
as I finish, also, there will be a CD Rom feature for sale when the
time comes. As the displays in my web pages, there will be in
flash format, with better resolution for the website, more features,
and there will be sure that the comic will be completed. The comic
of Intruder Zophia will gonna be easier to display as it doesn't
requiere big deal of colors in the making, so that's gonna be faster,
so what it keeps me a little stucked is my comic of Unit_Remastered,
that requieres a much more color features, even as it is a kind of
old comic, other wise is the most complete comic I have by the
momment.

This are the older vercions covers of my Comic Unit_Remastered


Other works include my e-cards, this feature will be also on the CD Rom
feature and there will be wallpapers also made by by brother Lanny Torres.
Here are some of my feature displays I'm going to use for my e-cards:



Some of them are practically old, like from 1999 or 2000 and actually
the comic is from that time, but with the remastered colors is looking
as good as new.

The will be some proyects I'm working on with the Legacy Team and
Angel Santiago, creator of Rebels Terraform, here is a cove I've been
painting for him this day, actually is only a prototipe for now but here
it is:



Also, there's a post I did of a fan art for my friend Rafael Villodas Jr. some
days ago about his characters from his comic American Weapons, he
talked to me some days ago, and I'm goig to help him do some pages for

4. Talking about videogames, I like RPGs most of the time, and adventuregames, I'm a morriwind fan and I'm expecting to buy an x360 with oviblion.

5. I'm a computer tech guy, I was going to take the comptia A+ this year, but got to suspend the clases for personal reasons.

6.BUT, art is my first priority allways, so I'm matriculating on Atlantic College to study Graphic Arts, bout time, ñeee!!

7. Love the cranberries and all about Dolores O'Riordan, like Lost Prophets, Him, The Smashing Pumpkins, Billy Corgan, and also when I have my heart less hard, Dido, Jewel, and Sara McLachlan.

8. I love mexican rock bands, ska n alternative, a lot of really really good talent there that didn't hear over in my country cause of course, that other genre.

9. There also a great talent of rock bands in Puerto Rico, some forgoten and some to be.

10. Love n shares for all the guys who forget about me, not only on this kind of things but also on birthdays n hollidays, that's ok its better like that, it's easier to know who's who.

Hello everyone!

I've been a little busy later after realising that this comic I've been making for
arround 4 years its really a good book and its only need a little editing process
and a make up in its color dessign, I've been intenting to paint it but I didn't
get the adecuate stile for it. So this latest days of experimating process help
me a lot on that, and finally get to say, hmm, its gonna be a larrrge process, but
then, why not?? So, it's been a pretty satisfaying experience, and got done my
firsts pages, edited, proseced and remastered, looks like new. Even so, its an
old comic and I get a little unhappy with some of its drawings, BUT, got
to tell you its looking terrific. I will post my first demo pages as soon as pocible
on deviant, then I get to the process of posting the full vertion on my Webpage
as flash movie, pocibly with my first movie of Intruder Zophia on its way.

Here I'll let you see how the comic will going to be seen for now,

ohh my, I just seated today and read some
tutorials not only about deviant but also about
my other home at puertorican comix forum,
hehe I feel like I have grown up

well in other stuff I add some devs about
some classic stuff i have made in arround 1999
its a comic called black onix and where pretty cool
to me because I just paint it on color pencil,
markers to cover black spots and inks for the
leters.

Its in spanish, but I think it was well developed,
a dark n bright combo colors, and the story...
was so, so, but kinda telling something.

I stoped a little on my webpage construction, but
is because I got to make some things clear about

my adds at my webpage are little for the momment
i've been working on my e-cards and its dessign
as you see in my page [link] theres a
sample at how my e-cards are going to be seen by,
having some fighting with the border lines
on some of my animations, to be specific the left border
line, there very amusing and dificult to get rid of them,
but it can be done, i just need to know the correct way.
Also have some quality time learnig how to input loading
animation, I finally added one with the e-card I posted
today, only that the file is si little that it doesnt presents
loading animations at all. I ghess when I finish my first
movien on my e-comic section it can be seen with no
problem. I also have done some pin-up works for some
buddies at the PRcomix forum as you see I have posted
lately, I hope they like them and I will continue posting
some more.

I updated a little here and there from my page
and its starting to get some form now, added the
title animation, my company logo animation and
a little announce about a thing that comes to my
with my brother. Its about e-cards about my
characters in comics... you can see them like old
marvel cards or something (I loved those) tee hee!
Remember there gonna be e-cards, not greeting
cards, sounds good anyway. But right now im just
creating my page, next on shedule is gonna be finally

Dedicated to all of them, to all of those people that in any oportunity they squash you like a bug (but when you give your back thats it). Its incredible to think people like that ever exist, more you try to get up, the hardest they punch you, and the saddest thing is they knock you out with one, pathetic, little punch. Is incredible to think that the hardest you work the more enemies you win, and to think the greatier you work on your projects the probability to be friend gets expired like the gas on a malibu car. But whoever thinks they punch me back to the start of the road, its very wrong, cause me, since I still got the imagination, the tools, and my hands to do this, my feet got the strenght to get up and continue, with better works, better stiles, better art everytime I got up. But let them hear this, let the punch harder, cause if they continue with the crappy crappy, fushi fushi, on time they will know that those hits doesn't give me pain at all.

Hola,
Ultimamente puedo decir que las cosas han estado tranquilas tanto aqui en casa como en el trabajo y demas, blablabla ya ustedes saben, cosas de la vida cotidiana, ir a buscar cosas al super buscar a mi hermana de la uni, ir al trabajo etc. Anyway, pues eh tenido tiempo de adelantar unas cuantas cositas como el trabajo que acabo de realisar (noche,kim,ben-tentative cover) le llame asi por que es un proyecto que tengo mente desde hace tiempo y todavia no tiene titulo definido. Pues como pueden ver en estos ultimos devs que eh añadido pues me eh tomado la libertad oviar el estilo que siempre tengo de dibujar y simplemente pintar lo que voy a hacer. Tomando algunas notas de otros artistas y libros de comics que me gustan ver por ahi. Todo esto toma parte de lo que estado haciendo ultimamente que es tratar de aprender algo artisticamente cada dia, hasta ahora este estilo que eh tratado de sobrellevar tiene si simplesa pero no es facil a la vez, hay que tomar mucha nota ser muy observador. Pero lo importante de todo esto es que para mi es bastante divertido y satisfactorio, no se ustedes pero yo soy uno que simplemente sigo mirando por horas el trabajo terminado y trato de analizar que que cosas me quedaron bien y que cosas no, asi para la proxima vez pues tener mas cuidado y hacer los arreglos previstos.

1. Despues que usastes 90$ para arreglar el carro, se te quede, para tener que estar usando 300$ mas.

2. Si le comprastes algo a alguien que te llamaba la atencion y todavia no se lo has dado por pendejo, si, ni mas ni menos.

3. Si en el trabajo has estado teniendo problemas por que como mandastes el carro a arreglar ellos no entienden que lo necesito para ir a trabajar (y romper noches).

4. Despues que haces todo lo pocible para que las cosas te salgan bien en el trabajo ya que estas calientito, se te jode por X o Y razon que no tienes culpa de nada.

5. Que por esas X o Y razones tengas que trabajar tambien sabado y domingo tambien por 2 semanas corridas.

Imgoing to talk to you about Puertorrican comics, there's a lot of talent out there, ones are into industries, others are aspiring to work or start an industry. But we have something in common and that is that we know its dificult to capt the people's eye. We have some help from movie the comic's movie rush were seen this days (spiderman, x-men, hellboy, etc.) but its not enought. We're traying to fugure out whats the problem is, one of them is a well known comics artist among us, Juan Lapaix, he and his company dreamgrafix are selling CDs with their product, to solve the problem we have about the languege, for example. Other things I'm seeing as a problem is that a comic collector in this island who is allways collecting comics from DC or Marvel is allways traying to collect better or equal product. So when this public see product in b&w in spanish or with a lack of art and stories they tend to reject it.

Those facts are true, and I've seen it from time to time as an artist and a comic collector. Maybe we need to get ourselves together and form an union to stop the lack of good comics, that's my opinion.

There's not other thing we could except try to survive and see what's happen. I insist we have a lot of talent and we can get to the top toghether to create better products.

this time I did only the inks, and my brother the pencils
and art. The comic is called ©Hellishia, and is a story
about feudal times, with dragons and castles ans knights
and those other things, I love those kind of stories and
really enjoyed working with him on this tittle.

great art, my brother doing inks and me doing pencils
one of my first comics we did together doing diferent
task. The stories are not so long 9 or 10 pages a comic,
you could refer to them as mini stories, lol, you could even
see the pages a little yellow by the sides.
