It’s time for a NEW CHALLENGE! This time around we’ll be trying a “Chibi Challenge!”

There have been multiple times in my career when I’ve been asked to animate “Chibified” versions of popular characters (mainly for online games and virtual worlds).  So I thought it would be a fun exercise to try with the group!

The basic idea of each Chibi challenge is to take a popular character (or characters) and try to Chibify them!  For our first round, let's try our OWN versions of ... the “Marvel Superheroes!”

I just wanted to say hi to everyone and let you know that I’m psyched to be taking the reins for :iconluigil: and :iconpunkbox: for a while!  I’ve got to say, I love what they have created here with the DAC Group and I’m looking forward to continuing it!

We have a ton of great challenges that definitely need to be revisited, so plan on getting new versions of ALL the past challenges.  I’ll also be brainstorming new challenge categories with my fellow Mods, which we’ll introduce here and there.  My goal is to keep things interesting by creating a good mix between old and new challenges.

So for this month we will be doing the Prop challenge and the Re-imagine challenge!

For the Prop challenge, your goal is to design a vehicle first. Once you're happy with the vehicle design, work on a character that would ride that vehicle!

There are no restrictions on what type of vehicle. It can be artificial (like a car, or spaceship) or animal (like a horse or some creature that can be used as a form of transportation)

I've decide to assign two challenges every month until October (October will only have one challenge assigned) November and December will be "free to choose" months!

Every month I will assign 2 challenges. It's up to you to decide which one you would like to do, you could also do both!! :D

You will have the entire month to work on that challenge (or both challenges) so there wont be too much pressure on time :)

So after thinking about it for some time and realizing we have so many challenges, I've decided that we should do another catch up week and start from the beginning again.

Here's the schedule for the next few weeks:

This week will be a catch up week, giving you time to catch up and finish challenges that you've missed.

Next week we'll be starting form the beginning again with a Shape Challenge!

The week after that I'll most likely do a poll to decide the popularity of the challenges and see what you guys want to do next! :D
