If everyone does not know already, DA has made a new policy stating that they can you use your art without your consent. To be honest, I think that’s bullshit. I mean, we should have some say so in what goes on here. If you were going to use someone else work in an ad or something like that, I think you should give that person some type of credit. In all due respect, if you don't do that, isn't it ripping. Now maybe I have my information tangled (wrong) and this is not what the DA policy means: if so then some one let me know and my apologies ahead of time BUT, that’s what I got from reading the new policy.

Now does that mean I will stop submitting work? I want to say yes but I have a lot of friends here at DA and I’ve been here for almost 3 years, going on 10,000 page views (thank you all ). I know if I leave DA I might stop making graphics altogether. Here I gained a skill and development my own kind of style (i think ).

Even though I really dislike the new policy I’m submitting work. Besides, my work isn’t considered the best here so the DA snatchers might overlook me. LOL! That’s my new name for DA. “The DA Snatchers” lol I hope I don’t get banned for this. Maybe I was giving just a little to much freedom of speech.

Oh well, I’ll stop bitching and submit some new work already.

For those who think that people are just lying about the new policy change please read this. It's taken right from the deviantART Submission Agreement. You can read the whole thing for yourself but this is whats getting people pissed.

License To Use Artist Materials. As and when Artist Materials are uploaded to the deviantART Site(s), Artist grants to deviantART a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to do the following things during the Term:
to prepare and encode Artist Materials or any part of them for digital or analog transmission, manipulation and exhibition in any format and by any means now known or not yet known or invented;
to display, copy, reproduce, exhibit, publicly perform, broadcast, rebroadcast, transmit, retransmit, distribute through any electronic means (including analog and digital) or other means, and electronically or otherwise publish any or all of the Artist Materials, including any part of them, and to include them in compilations for publication, by any and all means and media now known or not yet known or invented ;

Damn!!! it was just like Y2K in Illinois yesterday. Dumb people on the news lies and say the worlds gonna end today. You dumb asses go out and by sardines and can goods in shit. LMAO. Me and My best friend was working at Wal-Mart watching alllll these people come in and by all types of canned shit. We were dying laughing!

Untill I see a huge ass comet rushing toward earth then I'll be concerned. If it starts snowing ice balls the size of golf and footballs, then I'll be concerned. Untill then, stop lying to us!! 50% of the news is bad news and about 40 is lies. You do the math!!

Besides if the world was gonna end (which may mean BLOW UP or some shit), why in the hell would you try and hide in an underground bomb shelter or some shit like that? lol i mean its just funny to me. lol.
