I've recently taken the decision to remove the ability to order prints of my images on dA after discovering a number of facts:

1 - For my images to be printed, they must pass review -which they currently do not due to the fact that my watermark is so close to the edge. Apparently I have to leave a significant edge around them for the 'bleed' process or something.

2 - For a 12x10" print, I would make $2.88 whilst the cost to the purchaser would be $23.50 - where does the rest of the money go? $20 USD to dA for printing my image for me? Hmm.

I don't know about you, but it doesn't make much business sense to me to have dA print them off and send them for me and for them to take the majority of the sum, when I know I can make more than $2.88 per image for myself.

If you're wanting to make an order of any of my images, please feel free to write to me and I'll let you know my prices.

Love and fishes,

Daf x

UV Shoot - Planning

Ok.

So I've been toying with the idea for around 6 months now but never really gotten around to doing it.

Basically, what I'm wanting to do is a shoot using continuous UV lighting from two 40W fluorescent/Blacklight tubes (1.5m long each) and covering the model (female) in UV reflective/reactive body paint - head to toe.

I'm wanting this to be tasteful, a little naughty but 'decent' enough for the model to show her parents and grandparents with no risk of being thrown out of the house.

I've sourced UV lighting, the body paints and have even researched the settings and stuff for the camera. My main problem right now is finding a model who'd be willing to stand around for hours being painted and then waiting until it's suitably dark (don't have blackout curtains) and then start the shoot.

I've been asking friends, but not many of them are keen on the idea - worried what their other halves would say etc.

I think that's my major problem right now - although I think I'd have to 'find' or 'acquire' a muse to solve it.

Hmm

Any suggestions or volunteers are welcome!

Ok.

So I've been a member for a while but I've only recently started posting stuff - mainly due to &#039ressure' from a friend but also because I'm actually needing a 'confidence boost' as earlier this year all of my creative ability and inspiration was ripped from me due to an event that changed everything in my world completely.

I'm now looking to find some glue to piece together who I am and hopefully start to create again.

Unfortunately for those who've signed up to watch me, I'm not going to be posting all that often due to my limited internet access and access to my data and images.

When I can, I will post - but at present my content is limited due to the aforementioned loss of creativity.

Hopefully I'll be back on form again in the next few weeks.

Love and fishes,

Daf x
