A while ago i finish CEGEP in arts, now I have to go on with university but it will wait cause i'm poor and shit. I'm gonna take my bartending classes next week ; they were supposed to be yesterday, but the teacher got a car accident. They are gonna be a blast, I love doing flair and i love jobs like, restaurants, cafe and everything. .

I also have caught the Flu, yesterday it was pretty excruciating, today it's much better, i'm actually quite suprised, i was expecting it to be a lot worse.. I guess my immune system is stronger than before.. since i stopped partying and eating mcdo all the time i'm happy to say i havn't ate at mcdonalds in 5 years.

I have quite a lot of painting contracts to do these days, and i have to start working on them. I have a boat scene and a happy jewish zombie carebear with a really huge weiner to paint.. also my parents want's 3 canvas and a friend of mine wants 3 skateboard designs. It's good money but I'm waay too lazy.. I have to stop being such a slob.

Oh yeah, after my bartending classes, I will gather some money and go on a trip around the world. I wanna go do some community service in africa, as well as go help on the coffee plantation in kenya. I wanna go work in a coffee shop in france, go in work in a pub in england or ireland, go meditate with the monks in Tibet, visit india.. well i wanna go fucking everywhere it's gonna be hard, scary and dangerous, but I have the will to make it work. and it's gonna make me learn tons about myself.

I'm now single, and quite happy about it. I have a real good relation with my ex and we are having a blast as friends.. more than we had as a couple.

I havn't made a journal update in ages, and I feel it is time for me to do so. Today I realised how much I loved and hated school. I'm now at my 3rd term of college, and i have to say its pretty hard. My art classes are a breeze, but all the basic courses are a pain. I dropped out of many, failed some. That means i'll have to do a 3rd year. Then when it's all over I hope my 3 years of university will be fun and funky, can't wait to be there really. By that time I finish everything and become a real complete proffesional young artist, I'll be 26. Honestly it scares me a little, I know 26 is young, but it's a bit old too. I mean at 26 i would love to have kids and a job, but I guess that will have to wait. At least my girlfriend will finish her university 1-2 years before me, so we may think about getting kids when I'm 24.

My girlfriend is still and always will be great, I can't get enough of her. It's almost 1 year and we are still trucking down the love highway.

Pixelart on the other hand is my weak side these days. I'm sorry for those who would of loved to see more from me, but I don't have much time pixelling. I use my free times for painting, sculpting, playing games and let's not forget passing time with my girlfriend. Yet we are in the same school and same classes, it gives us a lot of time to be together.

I got my wacom tablet stolen... so I hope you're not hoping for some more digital drawings from me. All the peices I had started will have to wait a while. Unless you wanna send me a new one.. but yeah we all know it's not gonna happen

But all in all, I've met a girl, a pretty cool one at that, she's sweet, tender and full of loving. Appenrently normal, for once I hope I'm right Since I know you all want to know the full story, I'll give you some more details.

She study with me at school in arts. She had a boyfriend and I was kinda hopeless. But I guess i was wrong, cause it was not going well with her boyfriend. So we were working late in the "A-30" (Visual arts classroom), she was there, blinding me with her blond hair and blue eyes. Seriously she's a fucking mirror, as soon as the light hits her you get blind, shes pale, blond and has blue eyes . Anyway yeah she was there with her friends, We were tired, and bored of working so we went and took a beer in a park all 3 of us. Then we finished the night at her friend's house. Beer worked magic and we kissed and cuddled after much of joking and talking.
All in all I bet you can tell I'm quite happy

Oh and we have the coolest thing happening at my school. During the 1 week "study" break, the older students organise a creative night. It's actually 24 hours of creating.

We gonna have a nude model for 2 hours, beer, speeds and lots and lots of paint, charcoal, wood and metal.

I seriously can't wait.

Well hello there mates, and welcome to one of my very very very rare journal, im really not the kind of person to actually keep a weekly journal, but i guess i'm gonna try to actually make more of these things for all of you my fans I mean friends not fans right?


Useless crap about me


For all of those who dont know yet, my name is Jorel and im a pixelartist, that like to go from time to time onto digital painting. about that i have one that i hope that im gonna finish one of these days, but procrastination owns me Im unemployed, and I reallly really have to find a job, since i feel a bit opportunist to live with my parents, not have to pay a dime and sit on my ass all day long at my computer, excluding the occasonial supper that i prepare, the often dishes and the daily food shooping. But still, i really want to have some money to rig up my computer a bit, i need at least 1024 rams more, i would need a heat sink for my videocard, a new videocard, a new processor would be fun too, but well thats a lot of money that I dont have yet. So if you have a very good way to make money other than selling drugs or prostitution well share But well i may have chances to work for best buy, wich means im gonna have tons of eletronical peices and other crap with a nice rebate that would be pretty fun really. To give you the full story, my ex-boss liked me a lot, and he knows the best buy director of the shop near my house personally, wich means he actually talk to him about me and the best buy director told him that he had my name and that as soon as i would make my job demand, he would contact me so this little situation makes me happy, but that really doesn't mean i'm gonna have the job, but i really hope so.

Also im planning to go back to school in september. I know i know its far, but i have to do my inscription before march, so ima gonna do that soon as possible. I'm headin for arts, to the go to university make a year in a computer domain, and then do my game graphical designer in a specialised school. So im very exited and very scared at the same time. I stopped school 3-4 years ago, so going back is very weird and i'm trouble about the issue of having forgot all what i've learnt before, but i guess im gonna have to work twice harder, but that shouldn't be too much of a problem, since im my head im going to school to study, not party

Also there is the dreaming in contest pixelart contest, that was a lot of fun to organise, and now its even better to look at those entries and answer all the questions. on a side note, if you have questions, simply send a note to me or any other of the 4 judges, and you will mostly get an answer very quickly, but my best bet is =camelhijackation or me since we are come and check stuff daily. but im a little concerned quality level of the current peice, expect some, the general skill level is from bad to moderate, im yet to see some reallly breath taking peices. Comments story

Comments stories is a concept that i developped recently and started putting it into action and its a great way to feature deviations and comment in a different way.

first of all you need to find a peice that inspire you a story, then you write a little story on the image, i could be the meeting with a goblin, the arival in a new space dimension or even jus you walking to the village to meet some friends.

Its very easy to do very fun to read and for all you creative minds out there, its fullifiing. And the best part is that you can use several comments and deviations to continue your story. let me explain

we are tired, hungry and more than that we have no more pandajuice for the Squirrel pandajuice artillery... and as we all know pandajuice is the only effective weapon against pudding troops, we are being force to push back..

we are although managing to kill some pudding soldier... with our masssive number of troops, but sadly the pudding swamp send troops over and over making the battle impossible for me to win...

if you *camelhijackation or anyone else manage to send me 1 million litter of panda juice before the end of the week, i will surely manage to take the golden desert and start mining the gold in it... and more than that i will surely manage also to keep the pudding swamp at bay for at least a month or so..
