Hey all,

I know I haven't been around much but I think I have totally lost my artistic mojo and am desperately trying to get it back, so far with no luck thou. Seems like when I got back from vacation in Aug I must have left it there in Florida. So now slowly with no help from my lagging computer I am playing around and trying to build it up again. Who know I might just one day wake up and find it back (cross my fingers) Mean while I got my son his Halloween costume and I want to show him off. He is dressed like Commander Rex in the new Star Wars Clone Trooper cartoon playing here on Cartoon Network. But I think he looks more like a young Luke Skywalker. What do you think?

To do list:

School starts soon so that means supply shopping, Leeland's birthday on the 17th and his best friends birthday right after so more shopping and my friend is having her baby (need to keep the phone charged) lots in store this month.
Disney World was fun and my son Leeland had a blast even though it rained most the time. My favorite ride was the Tower of Terror it felt so good on my spine, pulled it apart and left me weightless. I have a few photos but most of them didnÂt come out well, I will sift through them soon and post but for now IÂm off to work.

Also I'm going to be on vacation here soon to Florida and Disney World this will be my son's first time to visit there, he was only 3 1/2 I believe when we went to Disneyland and he missed out on so many of the rides but watch out he is going to have a blast this time.

It's spring break and I'm sick

I woke up this morning and then turned right around and went back to bed. IÂm dizzy, coughing, my head hurts and my throat feels like fire. It's been awhile since IÂve had a full blown cold, and IÂm afraid I am being a big baby about it. I just hope it goes away as fast as it came on because I would like to do something this spring break with my son who just got over the sickies himself. Today though I think IÂm going to take an easy and play the new Sims expansion pack I got a few days ago ÂFreetimeÂ so far what I see mostly is now my Sims have more activity and free will and in turn it wins them points to uses on rewards, a game within a game so to speak. Also there is another aspiration goal as well which is good for me because the automated one isnÂt always what I desire for that particular Sim. Lastly, I'm haveing

New Backgrounds

I want to say thank you to everyone that gave me advice on my problem with my arm (elbow) hand and shoulder and let you all know that itÂs finally improving. Most the pain now is just my elbow, itÂs kind of a sharp pain between those bones in the elbow and it mostly hurts when I lift heavy objects and twist so I avoid that and I am taking an easy, trying not to be the house pack mule and put some of the lifting stuff burden on my son, besides itÂs good for him it will build him up some muscles and help him learn to be polite and helpful.
I hope everyoneÂs holiday is going well, my son is finally on fall break for about 2 and half week and we are going to find a bunch of thing too keep him busy too so he doesnÂt get board and now I get to sleep in, YEE-HAW!
What else is new? I also adopted a new kitty we call her Gabby (goo-goo) she is 4 month old and so sweet but more wild then I expected but I donÂt care sheÂs one of the family now and my other cat has really gotten close to her, he is finally not yowling all the time.

Well for the last 2 and half months I have slowly been loosing my ability to work at my computer due to pain in my right hand, arm and shoulder. IÂve tried everything from taking a vacation from my computer to braces and ice packs and still it keeps getting worse so I broke down and told the doctor a week or so ago mostly because it was just getting to unbearable and she said it looks like I have carpal tunnel and I think tennis elbow too cuz where it hurts. Anyways if anyone knows of a quicker fix for me please let me know cuz it hurts like well think of the worse word possible and there ya go. The one thing I donÂt want is surgery and I hear there are other solutions. Being that we all have a tenancy to be addicted to spending way to much time on our computer, I figure I would ask if anyone has had the same experience and how did you cure it?
Other then that I am working on a new pack but it is going to be slow going for now. Also thank you everyone for sending me birthday wishes that was super sweet and made my year, BIG HUGS s to you ALL.

Nothing to exciting

Ok, nothing to exciting going on just busy with everyday life, but I am still putting in time to made backgrounds like a good girl, not done.. yet, I'm plugging at it. Let's see, I took my son to see Ratatouille in the dollar movie, what a totally cute movie. I left very satisfied, probably going to buy this one for him.

Yes, Leeland's will be 7 on Friday and we are having a party this Saturday and I am not at all prepared. He wanted an army theme party and I have gone to ever possible store around so next year I am buying the paper goods online. So today after school we pick, period if not army then we go with something else cuz the cake needs to be ordered now.

New Computer - Joys and Sorrows

I want to thank everyone for the lovely comment on my image Time Turmoil and DesignsByEve for suggested it for the Daily Deviation on 07-10 and ^MistressWit for featuring it. BIG s to you both.

Now what have I been doing?
I have been so busy this last week, I got a new computer. I splurged a little, it was on sale but as always I have buyer remorse. The good thing is itÂs a Dual core which I hope helps speed up the rendering time; I get so irritated with the wait.
The bad thing is IÂm having some problems with it and the software I use, I think itÂs because I had to buy a computer with Vista but that is not conclusive yet. It does bug me though that I can only buy a computer with Vista on it yet they are still selling XP but XP is not compatible with any new computer now on the market here. So my option was to build my own and that is very expensive since they no long offer it on the new computer or buy one with Vista, I donÂt have a money tree so well there ya go. Anyways wish me luck I hope to have everything ironed out soon and get on with my work.

Vacation and more

Finally got my gallery all updated. Sorry about so many uploads at once.
Just got back from a little camping trip in the White Mountains of AZ/NM border, View it was SO COLD up there but very beautiful (8000 feet elevation), we camped right next to a stream off the blue river. I took allot of pictures even got scared to death by a snake, IÂm not sure what kind and probably nothing to worry about but IÂm afraid of all snakes. I was kneeling down to take a picture of a rock (for the texture) and was no more then 3 feet away and look down and there he was. View Well I got up, yelled to my son to stay on the dirty road and bee-lined it to him but then when I got there I was like Âoh god, I should have taken a picture of itÂ, earlier that day my husband argued with me, didnÂt think there were any snake around the campsite. He is a city boy and can you believe it never went camping as a kid; kids need to go camping if nothing more then the experience. Anyways so I tip-toed back and took a picture of it just to show him what lurks beneath the tall grass *giggle* well and to show him I was right
We saw many animals up there from elk to snakes it was really cool, there were a lot of BIG bugs too and at night frog, all over the camp site that kind of freaked me out, made me think of that short story Rainy Season, in Nightmares and Dreamscapes: Volume 1 by Stephen King. The next day we saw some horny toads, Leeland my son had a blast with it and I was like donÂt poke him, he will spit on you, Leeland replied Âif he does IÂll spit backÂ I couldnÂt stop laughing just like a boy got to gross-out. Anyway we got back just in time for me to finish up a new background pack, now to wait for the approval and release in the market. Hopefully soon

Happy Birthday to me

Today was a pretty good day and got even better as it progressed, today was my birthday started off sleeping in which was a nice change did some work on my computer, helped my son with homework and studying his spelling words (tomorrow is the test)
Then later got a real live birthday party havent had one of them in awhile, anyways we played Pirate of the Caribbean DVD game, ate cake and ice cream *yummy* and open presents...Yippy...got some really great presents, listening to one of them now "Evanescence, The Open Door" like it so far. I wish days like this could be everyday but then it wouldnt be as special so tomorrow back to work and the responsibility at hand.

Now to extend my celebrated mood I am having 4 days sale starting today, 20% off all backgrounds.

Crazy Forgetfulness

Ive been away this pass 4 days vacationing at the Grand Canyon but I dont know whats with me I didnt notify anyone not even the school my son would be out Monday and Tuesday so tomorrow I need to deal with that. Crashed

So very pissed

Well my computers did it again, lock-up and crashed. This time it took everything with it most my recent work is gone, everything I was working on also... so no backgrounds got to start all over again. I am now moving allot of the stuff over to my new computer but finding one out of 5 files corrupted so this is a very slow process and I am not sure where I stand on inventory at the moment. This is so crappy if only I was allowed to get an external backup last time this happen but NOOOO "I dont need that." Very pissed at my husband, damit!! Anyways I will be busy fixing and transferring, no time to play...Poowee

Let me see, what have I been doing? Rendering allot, well too much been neglecting my house work.
Went as a chaperone with my sons class to the zoo, it was Leelands first time on a school bus he like that.
Haven't been working out BAD BAD will correct that next week wile my son is in class and well that's about it doesn't sound like much but for some reason I been getting less and less sleep, go figure.
Here are a few pics I took at that zoo, first time really using my new camera I got for christmas, don't know what I'm doing with it yet.

Halloween play

Here are a few pictures from Leelands birthday party, I didn't get to post them
till now. Nothing much is going on around here because my monitor is going out and its really frustrating trying to make art with the screen all screwy. I have found the only way I can even work is to make my window smaller and center it in order to get somewhat of the right dimensions which is also stupid because I only have a 17inch monitor in the first place so maybe later tonight we can dig out my old monitor till I am able to get a new one. At least I can get back to creating properly.

5th birthday

Today is my sonâs birthday he is 5 years old, how the time has flew. They
had a little celebration at school and gave him a kingâs crown to wear but
he didn't want to wear it, kind of cheesy I don't blame him. Then we spent sometime
at the park pretending we were fishing. Then after at home pa-paw (grandpa) my
dad called and Leeland got to open some of his presents. I think later we will
go out and have a bite of desert and call it a birthday day, thatâs if I
can get him off his new PS2. Sunday is his actual party so we have to do this
all over again, but I donât think he will mind, do you?

First day at kindergarten

Mood: Great

Today is my son first day at kindergarten, he is in a very large class of 29 and there are 5 classes of kindergarteners this year at his new school, so do the math. I was watch all the moms and dads and how they were reacting to there children going to school some for the very first time and I think some were more upset at leavening them then the kids were and it reminded me of Leelands first day at pre-school. My son didnt cry, didnt ask where I was going, blew me a kiss and went into the classroom. I watch him through the window of the door and he was very polite, helpful and calm. NOT like at home...*grin* I am so proud of him and I know he is going to do well in school this year. This picture is right before class let in, what a handsome boy eh?
