        <media:text type="html"><![CDATA[ I'm trying to work on some more marker art.  I specifically want to try pieces involving different lighting.  I work with Copics, so if anyone has any cool tips, tutorials, or videos I can watch (regarding markers+lighting) to get my learn on a little quicker, I'd greatly appreciate it.  Worked on one for a little bit today (my E000 ran out and I had to run all over town to find another because I didn't realize it was close to drying out and never ordered a refill), and thought I'd ruined it by treating the weird lighting like I was painting it with markers.  Kept going anyway, whipped out the blending  ]]></media:text>

        <media:text type="html"><![CDATA[ I added a bunch of projects I worked on over the semester, from Drawing II, Painting I, and Figure Drawing, and am slowly putting together composites of figure studies I worked on, so I don't bombard you all with a hundred deviations from me.  There are still a couple paintings I am working on, and I'll hopefully be working on more over the summer with my painting friends from class.<br /><br />I also just added a couple photographs that turned out really well from my first adventure of the summer (of many to come).<br /><br />Summer goals = change diet (go vegan, eat right, exercise more).  make more jewelry for my shop, and promote it.  clean out the apartment ]]></media:text>

        <media:text type="html"><![CDATA[ I'd like to say I've done a lot in the year since I last posted anything.  But I haven't.  Well... nothing exciting.  Well... not too much exciting.<br /><br />Been on some wild rides, some crazy adventures, but nothing out of the ordinary.<br /><br />My art stuff has been taking off in some places, falling in others, and emerging in more :)<br />My jewelry is in a shop in Seattle called Bedlam Bedlam, and I've created one piece that I can reproduce that's been really popular on etsy.  I've sold 12 Friends of the Ood Pendants and have plenty more.<br />Several of my comic book projects in the past year have either slowed down or fallen through.  The one I was drawing fo ]]></media:text>

        <media:text type="html"><![CDATA[ As the title insinuates, I'm done with school for the summer.  I just got my grades today:<br /><br />Creative Writing  B  <br />Science Fiction Lit  B-  <br />Elementary French I  A-  <br />Elementary Japanese II  D-<br /><br />Holy crap, I can't believe I managed to pass Japanese.  Must have been the final, which I did better on than I thoguht I would.  I also did better in French than I thought.  Not as good in Sci-Fi Lit as I thought.  It was the final paper, I'm sure.  But I'm curious on the comic book I did.<br /><br />Oh yes, I ended up doing the comic book idea, and it was almost a smashing success.  I used images from bar scenes in other comic books to help me out (for insta ]]></media:text>
