It's true! Except it wasn't so much last night as it was last Friday. I've been ill - VERY ill. The kind of ill that makes you miss work for two days and not even call in. The kind of ill that makes concerned co-workers and parents drive over to see if you're still alive...
I was alive and - having survived the worst of what may very well have been the most evil stomach virus known to man - just needed some good ol' TLC.

Turns out there's something to be said for this "TLC"... perhaps because it came to me by way of someone I happen to simply adore? Perhaps.

But I tell ya, a DJ saved my life. Yes, he did!

First, let me warn you that I'm still recovering from an exhausting weekend in Chicago where I celebrated a music festival unlike any other. Seeing Pearl Jam on Sunday at Lollapalooza was simply a waking dream.
Anyway, I mention that b/c this post may not be the most succinct/coherent blurb you read today. It is, however, my sincere apology to anyone that I may have offended with one of my submissions "Bottoms Up". Evidently it violated a DA policy and has been removed by the admin team. Although I have a lot to say on that issue I wont for now.
What I really want to communicate is my gratitude to everyone who liked the image. There were a bunch of you that I didn't get to thank individually and I hope you don't take it personally.
I'll be sure to give future "deviations" some more thought prior to posting them here.
