Just hoping everyone is doing well and enjoying their summers. :] How's it going for everyone?

I've been working a lot, and I just redid my bedroom. That was my graduation present (even though I paid for everything) that lasted practically an entire month, lol. Joe and his parents got me a violin for graduation. I've always wanted one since I started listening to the band Hurt. I'm exciiiiiteeedd.

I'm getting glasses now, for the first time ever. My vision isn't that bad, but I hate having poor vision when it's always been perfect.

I finished reading Cathedral of the Sea and World Without End since school let out. I loveeeeeddddd those books! Now I'm reading The Pillars of the Earth. I actually got that book for Joe 2 Christmases ago and he never read it, so I'm going to, lol. :]

Oh, and my one duck, Puddles, passed away a week or two ago. Cambrian was always biting at Puddles and stripping the feathers from him, so Joe, his parents, and I separated them. He didn't recover from that.

We had a bad wind storm Wednesday night that knocked our power out for most of the day Thursday. We got it back for a few hours, then it went back out. Since we didn't know when it was going to come back on Thursday night and it was cold out, I had to pack up my birds and spend the night at my Grandma's. My Dad's going to get a generator now in case something like this happens again, we'll be better prepared.

I hope everyone had a good Lovey Day! I cooked lunch for my boyfriend, got him some things to make his own tea, and made him a card. He got me flowers, chocolate, and a card. I lovelovelove him. <3 :]

Speaking of my pacemaker, I have an appointment in Pittsburgh next Friday, 6 February. I have to get a pacer check, chest x-ray, and a stress test, bleh. Well, it wouldn't be too bad if I didn't have the stress test. I HATE THEM. DD:


Tomorrow I'm going out to =dragon-Lace's for movie night. :'DDD YAY. We have like, a bujillion movies we have to watch, lol. And then we're taking Joe's new car to Altoona for the day on Sunday. :'DD AND BUY LIKE 10 MEXICANS AND SHOVE THEM IN THE TRUNK OF THE CHARGER BECAUSE THE TRUNK IS MASSIVE.


My art teacher is a prick. We're doing these acrylic paintings in my one art class (yes, I have 2), and I got mine done a few weeks ago. A week ago my painting was amaaaazing and the best thing ever. And now this week she doesn't like and it's unacceptable. So I have to totally redo it with a different picture. I'm so pissed off about. Then she was bitching today that I use a palette to store my paint rather than a Tupperware container. "THAT WASTES PAINT. HAVE YOU EVER BOUGHT IT BEFORE? THEN YOU SHOULD KNOW HOW EXPENSIVE IT IS" Omg lady, go blow it out your ass. You buy the cheapest fucking shit you can get, and it sucks giant balls. So I don't really want to catch up on much of anything because most of that is pretty bad news. And nobody wants to hear that, right? Right. Good.

I have art to upload, but, sadly, it's all traditional. My scanner is being a faggot, so I don't know when everything will be fixed. So maybe I'll upload a picture or two for you guys to enjoy until then, lol. :'D

Christmas was good this year. I got a new bird (I'll upload a pic and explain in it) and some little stuff from my parents. Joe got me a new mp3 player and other stuff. The mp3 player is really awesome - it's a samsung touch screen. :'D

New Year's Eve was fun. My boyfriend's band had a show at the Noteworthy. A lot of the people there really liked them. And we got 12$ in donations, yay!

That's pretty much it I guess. I'm going to go upload those pics.

Yesterday, 14 Sept, I ordered my veiled chameleon a new cage and I'm so excited! It's a 61cm L x 61cm W x 120cm H screen cage. I got it from Flchams.com. I should be getting it sometime this week I hope; Wednesday at the earliest I'm thinking. I need to *cough*getjoeto*cough* make a stand to put it on because I'd like to have the cage off the ground and away from drafts.

Joe, Kayla, Kristen, and I went to Atoona today. I got some stuff for in Dashboard's new cage, a locket, and some undies. We went into Micheal's to get vines for Kayla and I's lizards and like ALL of their plants were 50% off! I was like "FUCK YES I'M GETTING THIS CRAP." Seriously, I spent less than $20 on things that would've cost me triple that amount at a pet store. IT WAS AMAZZZZZZZING. The locket I got is really cute. I'm planning on putting a picture of Joe on one side, but I don't know what to put on the other side. I was thinking Truffle or Dashboard or something, but I dunno. Any suggestions?

Latte is beginning to lay another clutch. She has 2 eggs already, and if this clutch is as big as her last one, she has 4 more to go. I'm reallyreallyreally skeptical about letting her have another clutch, but I'm going to let her anyways. Though if she abandons them this time, I'm not saving them. Yeah, it'll break my heart so much, but it won't be broken as much when I lost my babies, Attie and Maris. <3 If any survive (I'm NOT getting my hopes up), I may name one in honor of Maris. But that's really only if any remind me of him. ;___;

We had movie night this weekend and it was FANTABULOUS. WE MADE AN AMAZING BOOB CAKE THAT TASTED LIKE AMAZING. I'll post pictures LATER.

My surgery went well, and I got released just a few hours after the surgery! The surgeon went in through my first incision and pulled the loop out of lead, and also re-aligned the leads so the tips were where they needed to be. I'm a little sore, but thanks to these amazing pain killers, I usually don't notice it. Only downfall to the pain killers is that I can't really focus on anything after taking them. Everyone was making fun of me today because I was so out of it, lol.


I had been working on those commissions, but I'm putting them on hold for a few days. Since I'm on these pain killers and I'm so out of it, I figured it would be better so I didn't screw anything up. I have those requests done, but I need to scan them and color them. Like the commissions, I'm putting them on hold for a few days. I think I'm just going to upload them when I get the commissions done, anyways.


I was thinking about getting a subscription. Should I?

My cockatiel. Has 5 eggs. It would be 6, but the first developed a hole in it.

I'M SO EXCITEEEDDD.

I candled them today to check the progress. All but the one she laid today have a blood ring, so I know that at least four of the five are fertile. But, I imagine today's is also fertile since the rest are.

In eggs 2 and 3 I can see they both have embryos with beating hearts! It was so...amazing to see the heart pumping. Seriously, I cried when I saw their hearts beating because I have heart problems and it really just touched me emotionally.


And, in it all, I get a blow in the face.

I need to get a clamp lamp, infrared heat bulb, humidity gauge, thermometer, reptile heating mat, acrylic reptile container, digital food thermometer, paper towels, 3cc syringes, metal teaspoons, digital bird scale, and toooons of other stuff that I'll think of later.

Latte abandoned her eggs, so now we have them in an incubator. :[ We're going to take them with us when we go down to the beach later this week (we're leaving Thursday afternoon). I hope one hatches on the 26th of July because that's my birthday! :'D I think that while we're down at the beach, we're just going to keep them in small containers in the incubator. Then, when I get home, I'll put them in a brooder. I'm so excited for them to hatch! But the only downfall is that I won't be able to enjoy my vacation. I can walk on it, but it hurts pretty bad when I do. From what I can tell, there's some minor swelling and discoloration, but nothing serious.

I'm wondering if I could have sprained it. Also, what is the best thing I could do for it, and should I see a doctor? I have work tomorrow and I'll be on my feet for 7 hours straight. Should I go to work or stay at home to rest it?

I got released on Friday and had no difficulties whatsoever. Saturday, though, I got sent back up to Children's ER because my left arm would turn purple and swell up when I took it out of the sling, and I was having a little trouble breathing.

I got an ultrasound taken of my shoulder/chest where the pacemaker leads were, and there was no clot or anything around the site. The blood was just having trouble returning when my arm was free to dangle due to the pacemaker leads obstructing the vein. My surgeon said that the blood would find or create another way to get to the heart, so it was nothing to worry much about.

A chest x-ray was also taken to see why I was having difficulty breathing. The attending doctor pulled the x-ray from Friday and the one I had just taken up onto a screen to look at them. My one from Friday was healthy, but the most recent one had a small white blob at the bottom of my lungs. She said that it was either an infection or a partial collapse of my lung. So they did some blood work to see if it was an infection, but it all came back negative. Therefore, I was told that I had a partial collapse in my left lung and that it should heal itself.

I was discharged around 11PM that night and didn't get back until about 1AM, yuck!

Sunday we got a call from Children's around 7PM. The Sr. radiologist out here took a look at my x-ray from Saturday and wanted me back out immediately...And I was to take the ambulance out to Pittsburgh because they wanted me to have an oxygen mask while I rode out. The radiologist on duty the night before read my x-ray incorrectly and the lung collapse was worse than they thought.

I found out that I had a 35% partial lung collapse in my left lung, and I was put on 100% oxygen therapy. If the oxygen therapy didn't help and the lung got worse, I was told they would have do a chest tube to remove the air around my lung.

I didn't have any tests on Monday, just sat around in bed with my oxygen mask.

Tuesday morning I got a chest x-ray that showed my lung was pretty much back to normal. Dr. Drant came in and told me that it would be fine for me to get up and walk around, but for no more than a half hour at a time because they wanted to be on the safe side and keep me on my oxygen mask.

Around 10:30PM I was discharged and sent home. I really hope this doesn't happen again because I was getting really freaking homesick. I miss Kayla and Jordan and Joe and Mandy and Courtney. D:

Wednesday, 14 May, I'm going to have pre-operation check-ups take place. I'll get a chest x-ray, blood work, EKG, and probably a "once-over" check. I'm not sure if I'm spending the night out there afterwards, but I think I will be.

Thursday, 15 May, is my scheduled surgery date. I don't know what time it'll be for sure, but I remember someone from the hospital say it probably won't be before 10AM.

On Friday, 16 May, I should be getting out of the hospital sometime. They're keeping me overnight to make sure everything is working properly and do another check sometime that day. If everything goes as planned, I'll more than likely be getting out!

My Dad got me out of school on Tuesday to take me up to the ER due to some heart palpitations and chest pains. I ended up getting taken by ambulance to Pittsburgh because the EKG that was taken at Bedford showed something abnormal in my heart's rhythm. After an entire day on Tuesday of tests, I find out on Wednesday that I have a complete heart block.

So today I learned of what was to come in the future. There's going to be a little monitor being mailed to me so that if I ever have heart palpitations again, I can put it up to my heart to get a recording of it. I have a stress test on the 19th and a meeting with the electro-physiologist on the 25th. Sometime before I go to college I'll need to have a pacemaker. I think I'm going to talk to my parents about getting it during the summer before I go back to school in the fall for my last year of high school (I'm a junior right now). I'd feel much safer if I could get it as soon as possible.

My boyfriend, Joe, and his band played at the Everett Talent Show on Thursday. They didn't place or anything, but they made front page of the newspaper! It was really cool, though. Everyone had a good time with it, and nobody was upset that they didn't place. Hooray for good sportsmanship.

I'm in the process of making a myspace for the band, but they don't have a name yet. Anyone have any suggestions?
