Thats right, I need to shape my weekends up abit or I won't get anything personally-productive done. I have a few projects under way and I can't seem to make myself finish them. My new site (with a few friends) will need some management and at least a couple of nights work before I can start with the CMS. Maybe the upcoming weekend will give me an opportunity for this?

I know I was talking about creating a cool cartoon character, and thats still on the shelf (!), its even work-related so it will happen, but other things have come up which needs to be prioritized. All things in time.

Another k added to my pw's thats always a nice surprize! Gives me the producing boost I need these days. As do the favourits dropping in now and then ^^ <3

Another thing; DreamHack winter 08 is coming up! I bet there will be some cool and hopefully better administrated graphics contests there as there were last year, where I surprised got to recieve the 3'rd prize for freehand digital paintings contest This time it will probably be more painting and less playing games, since there are no great games out and probably will not be until Next year (refering to SCII).

About work - my education in interactions design ends in a few weeks and my last project is almost finished, ill post an URL for all of you to see soon (its a web site for a karate club). So finishing school means I need a job and we'll see how well that works out, actually I can't wait to get out there and make some money . Lets hope for the best!

An amaaaazing this is that this summer, in a few weeks actally, I get to see my biggest idol and best guitarist in the world! Joe Satriani! He's coming to sweden on the Sweden Rock Festival and ofcourse im going ^^ Will be a concert to remember indeed.

Right, I posted a screenshot of a small site I made for my sisters boyfriend. He has a firm and needs a website for it so im doing a static site for him. He said he likes it so far, so does my sister

The waffle day was also a big breakthrough for me! Or whatever one should call it, an important dA event! 5000 PAGEVIEWS! Woho!

I'm aware thats not super-much but for me its sort of cool, and it makes me warm inside knowing 5000 people have taken a look at my stuff. Too bad though that the count is not as frequent as before since Im not as active as I used to. This is directly related to work and studies - not lack of interest. in fact I just bought my second copy of ImagineFX magazine and im always awed by the featured artists in that magazine.. feeling like painting and sketching the second I see the cover. The articles and interviews are awesome aswell.

I bought Guitar Hero III - legends of rock! Its such a great game and being a guitarrist its combining pleasure with work.. its great exercise for dexterity. Anyone feels like challanging me, im game

I have not been idle but very unproductive, taking care of RL needs and I feel so much better. Sometimes its hard setting off time to be with friends and closeones.. but oh so important. Trying to find my balance in social activity and productivity/creativity I now have started drawing once more in small scale. I really need someone to slap my face when I sit by the computer drawing/designing for a week. Its not healthy. Hopefully I now realize that for real.

About work, I have three new web designs and two new portraits on the way (excluding the once already in scraps). Hopefully it wont take too long to get them all ready for dA.

Every time I work the graphics card a little it decides to shut down. This is the third time I boot it in half an hour (!) since I just got Corel Painter which seems not to cope optimally with my very moody computer. I'd have bought a new one a month ago if it wasn't for some decition-issues etc with my work. Will be awesome though when I get my hands on a REAL workstation. What im looking forward to the most though is my new monitors ^^ mwihi..

I just came from the store, my new books had arrived! So basically I will be trying to learn whatever they contain - its roughly about drawing manga and general comics - if you are curious about my progress you should check my scraps out since I'll most likely submit what I do there. Hopefully ill submit a few new deviations aswell, not until Thursday though - Thursday is my submition day, with about 45% accuracy I think

I've had the privilige to borrow my sisters EX's Playstation 2 which can handle Gitaroo Man (PS3 can't for some strange reason) and yesterday I flew into the sky with joy since I got past the level i've been stuck on for a few weeks. When im sick of drawing ill start out with the next level.. will probably be stuck on that one for a few weeks too though...

Im now submitting my entry in this contest which I could not do earlier due to restrictions by specific rules. The entry took about 5 hours and in deviation-description im crediting reference (which I until this moment still havn't done).

So.. im spending my last hours around here watching some pro-gamers and playing guitar-hero III before I sleep all those hours in the car home.... * You can't imagine how exhausted I am (!)

BTW: =taho - thanks for hints and tips on painting improvement which I tried to apply in this piece.

Had a great breakfast and was taken out to dinner and later out to spend the evening/night in a hot jacuzzi outside surrounded by 15-16 cm of snow, with my friends! It was a plesent surprise.

And coming back on devART i realize I just got 4000 pageviews! Wooh ^^ Haha, even though those numbers means about nothing, seeing peoples incresing interest is sometimes a big deal for us deviantART-underdogs or whatever the official term for us are. So im happy about that..

Yes, today is my birthday - turning 23 - and as usual im having some psychological issues with aging. I do realize its a bit early for that but im like that and has been since I turned 20.. so I suppose I feel like 19 really. 21 actually was not that bad because I was surrounded by extensive positive attention. We'll have to see about this day

First of all, no friends but my "souls highfiver" and best friend, has got time to see me. Second, ill be on a major birthday party in a few days, about 100 people will be there but noone will be celebrating ME! Its for a friend who's birthday is tomorrow...

Oooh.. what I want is some of my friends gathering to go out and just have some fun tonight. Just something like that and ill be happy. People simply making time.

School these days is pretty cool, making a website for a kebab restaurant. Whyever that would ever be needed.. thats whats up anyways. Also I've been asked to work with a fighting site which will pay quite alot and THAT I am looking forward to. There are so many useless and terrible fighting sites so finally ill be able to make something neat with testosterone pumped, over dramatic fight-pics haha. Awesome.

I got this new book! Well.. I did not get it just yet but I ordered it and I can't wait to receive it ^^ its about learning to paint and all, since thats basically whats up in my head at the moment. When I find something new to do I dedicate waaaay to much to it, until I get bored or hit the wall. We'll have to see about which one it is I got some sleep tonigh actually so I feel much better.

Im so tired I don't really know what im doing anymore. I've been up for way too long lately, my head is sort of giving in. Its resulted in a few new projects, I posted one of them already (here) and that one has a somewhat weird story. I was thinking about some cool manga perspective composition to draw but couldn't come up with anything, browsing randomly through self portraits I found a polish girl named Oliwka whom I spent the whole night working with haha.. its not a perfect portrait I know, but I really like the way im proceeding about all of this..

Next project is for a contest this ol'man put up *BikerScout! Thinking about making a WIP deviation on it since I know how much I enjoy watching WIP's from others Its magic!

Though I couldn't care less about that! School has just begun and im quite exited about it it seems we might have a few really interesting courses this semester but if we don't I'll just have more time to sit by the computer filling my gallery which most likely will happen pretty soon since I just bought an awesome pen tablet! I went for the Wacom intuos A5. Figured I might as well go for it since I most probably won't buy a new one if im not 100% happy with it, so I bought the top of the top to begin with :-D

So im starting out with some manga/anime pictures. If i'm happy with them I will submit some, if not you will all have to wait ^^ I am not a fan of manga but its pretty fun to draw so I'll start out with that.

Next step! A laptop, probably a LG with pretty heavy stuff inside since im reasoning as I did with my tablet, might aswell buy something good than something cheap. I figured I'll need a laptop now since my other computers are about to give up :-/ And I'll need it while traveling.

A few questions though: What's my pen tablets' name going to be? My iPod is called "Lucia" so thats taken.. My boxingbag is called "Sussie" so thats taken too. Got any ideas?

I get to do very different things and its really nice people having to do with. Im going away for the midsummer vacation :-D Meeting so many old friends and I love that, its going to be awesome

When I get online next time I will have 3000 pageviews Thats some kind of new era I suppose haha, always fun seeing that people see what you do. With all these years i've been around devART noone can really pat me on the shoulder about my gallery-popularity but the truth to be told, I can't say I care. I never post anything done by anyone else in some way, meaning I don't post retouches, editings from stock or other peices I did not do from scratch, which shows just how terrible I am at some things. That might be kind of stupid if you're looking for pageviews but I like it that way, my gallery - my stuff. Main point being, I like it here watching other peoples work and commenting some of it. There are so many pro artists around who never hesitated on giving tips and pointers about how to improve your skill, thats so lovable about da.

devART has become something I actually have grown up with, my gallery and profile has improved in many ways and I wish more people were around from back then to see the difference. Deviations comes and goes and is renewed and some day I might be talented enough for people to think its worth to pay my profile a daily visit. The point for me is to get there knowing what i've just written about.

Of course I have nothing against people editing stock images, its a whole lot of fun :-D, but I just don't think its something for me, at least not to post on devART.

As of now, im going to buy a new pair of headphones to my iPod for my long trip and later im having a damned drink, need to realize its holidays!

Mostly I've had a huge "NONO" attitude about banners but seriously, it CAN be done neatly and as a matter of fact I think my design would benefit from something like that. As for my other activitys I have posted a wicked story about a girl named Alex, as you can see. Do not ask me why, but I enjoy writing wicked stories and I do not mean to stop with it. A kind of lighthearted feeling has come over me, many things are happening! Its kind of nice, but the cold winter neutralizes the happiness I guess :-/

Its really fun watching all deviants submitting stuff. I feel very impressed almost every time I view a new gallery!
Its going to be hard making my own as impressive.
But the hope is not out! Absolutely not, im glad just being here to see all good stuff. It makes me Happy...
