Well... Once again some moron has removed one of my deviations - but without sufficient explanation. Any lesser individual would seek revenge by randomly reporting other 'artworks' as violating policies... But not I - I'll just sit here and quietly sulk for a while whilst I think of how to recontextualise the image so it is more 'acceptable' to the DA community...

Well, it would certainly appear my work has had an affect on somebody as I have had 18 images removed. These are 18 images which previously received positive feedback from other Deviants.

I'm stunned. The person who reported the 'violation' didn't even have the courtesy or common decency to email me with their reason for reporting them.

I suspect I may be yet another victim of a malicious, vindictive, bitter and twisted numpty who either failed to understand and appreciate the artistic quality and intention of the work, or is simply jealous.

Poor, poor numpty, I pity you.

ps. You missed a few...

Thank you for your comments so far.

Oppressing pornography and liberating art - if only it were that simple. What about context? Location? Accessibility? The individuality of the reader?

Indeed the complexity of the human form and human condition complicates and compromises distinctions between the two areas. How do you distinguish between sexual pleasure and the pleasure derived from art, for the emotional and physical responses can be quite similar, especially on a neuronic level?

Again many thanks for your views and comments - please keep them coming.

The graphite works are from a local exhibition I had with two colleagues recently, called Ménage à Trois.

The work was all very well received by the smalltown community of south-east England where I live and prompted much debate regarding how we distinguish art from pornography and vice versa. I hope to continue the debate surrounding the work by including these images on this website.
